              A bit gutted not to be there myself - fluffed the autosub for Evans last GW (Caulker in instead of Lescott). Can't complain though.

              Key help from FFS team/poster this year for me: Siggy, VDV, Pienaar. 100 points and a few 100 places.

    It was a great season.Can't complain my Top 2k rank.
    Thanks Everyone!
    Season High:
    1)VDV(C) in DGW36 & RVP(C) against Blackburn

    Season Low:
    1)Bringing Yakubu IN but off with Red Card.
    2)Vermalean in for a hit in GW37.

    SUMMARY OF MY SEASON-
    Cons:
    1)Missed Rooney's & RVP's early season points.
    2)Never took Bale seriously even though he was on high.(High Resistivity with Mata on my team.My Heart stopped my brain here)
    3)Some Benching mistakes in Caulker,McAuley.

    Pros:
    1)Quick to grab R Taylor,Krul,Mclean& Siggurdson points.
    2)Can't complain on Suarez,Rooney,RVP,Agueero,Ade,Jelavic,Pienaar.Whenever I fielded them,returned me good points.

    P.S:NEVER TAKE A HIT FOR DEFENDER!!!

      I've spent all season buying cheapo defenders until these last two GW's, when i thought i would treat myself seeing as i had won my ML and bought Verm and Komp, both for a 4 point hit.
      Net gain of -6 points.

    Pre baps I'm 158th in the last chance saloon league. Considering it was my bottom 5 team with Moses(c) and an assist on the bench I'd say that's pretty decent 🙂

    Luckily for me transferring out Evans for Ivan didn't have any bearing on mini-leagues, but I don't get how sure I was he was out for the season? I must have misread something somewhere.

      Left him on my bench. It was never explicitly stated that he was out but when someone is red flagged and apparently in need of surgery it's an easy mistake to make. A lot of us fell for the Fergie trap.

    Won my work league at William Hill's for the second time in 3 years, winning other comps at FISO but still finished second in my main league by 49 points, despite scoring 2273 points.

    Really enjoyed reading all the articles within FFS, so a big thanks to all the Scouts and also all the posters on this site. A big well done to all.

    Points are earned over the whole season, so it seems petty to focus on unfortunate events in just the last gameweek, but, having just lost mini league on transfers the following things would have won me the league -

    1. Pienaar not losing 1pt MF cleanie to a sh*tey own goal

    2. VdV not getting subbed off 28 seconds before 60 minutes

    3. His Turner conceding just 1 more goal in a game where Rooney freshied a sitter from three yards, hit the woodwork twice and Scholes hit the post

    4. SAF mind games not leading me to bench Evans

    5. Jelly not getting 1 BP more than Pienaar probably due to a tiny extra PPI

    6. Santon not getting subbed off at half time

    That is hard to take after 38 weeks of waaaayy to much time invested this season!

      I know how you feel. Had a 30 point gap to make up and would have won by a point if I just did a simple RVP to Aguero(c). Instead I took a couple of hits as I didn't believe the team I had could make it up.

      I've had so many tight calls go wrong this season. It's inevitably going to happen sometimes over 38 weeks but I've come close too many times to too many points this season.

    2011-12 Season Review

    Overall Rank : just under 3K, abit disappointed but plenty of mistakes made.
    FFS H2H : getting promoted to the Premier FFS H2H league next season.
    ML : won my ML by 20.

    Overall, another successful season. 🙂

        Only 11 for me, don't expect much of an improvement. Evans on the bench hurts abit seeing defenders scored 1,1,1.

    Well boners helped me nick my league by 6 points, first time Ive been top in 38 weeks!

    Also hope to break into top 100k after being as low as 1.1 million in GW 14! Thanks to everyone who helped with advice!

    Just need the Irons to beat blackpool now and England to win the Euros and it will have been a rather good footballing year!
