2011/12 Season Review

Total: 2181.
Rank : just under 7k. not bad considering i was stuck at 250,000 in GW21. delighted with that.
ML : won my ML by 120 points
PP Cup VI - Quarter Final
FPL Open - Semi Final

best season ranking and performance-wise but not my best season for points total.

conclusion: lived it, loved it, back next season!

  For what its worth I don't think overall points across seasons should ever be looked at. Some years there will just be more points to be had and so everybody will gain a higher points total on average.

Question....

If VDV came of on the 59th min and 32 second should that not go down as the 60th min entitling him to 2 extra points(for making 60th min + clean sheet)? lost my mini league by 1 point.... clutching at straws, or is that how it always worked?

torres captain was a nightmare pick
if torres ddnt come in:
rvp 4+4 evans 8=16pts

torres came in:
torres 1+1 rvp 4= 6 pts

do i need to mention that did ade and rooney our for rvp and torres? for a 4 pts hit?

ok ok im not nagging, the season is over and we now look to get a life again....... like the euro fantasy for example
did west ham and blackpool play? if not when is the final?

Very happy with my second successive win and promotion in the H2H leagues. Only another 5 years at this rate and I'll be H2H league 1 champion... 😉

Nice way to cap of a "meh" enough season, last few weeks saw me climb back to a rank with some semblance of respectability!

I see a lot of people on here did really well in top 15K and lower, very well done.

    This is it.
    
    I think if you've got into the top 25k out of nearly 2.8 million players, then you should be pleased with that. I always set the minimum target of 25k and then go from there.
    
    I'm hoping with the BP's I got that i sneak back in there.

Well after my shocking start to the season with scores of 37, 34, 29 (including using 2 wildcards), I made a good recovery and met my target of finishing in the top 20,000. Got my highest ever placing of 12,409, and my second best ever score of 2,155. Won most of my leagues. Happy days.

Also only 7 red arrows all season - can anyone top that?
