    Aguero and Graham goals won me a league... You could tell it meant a lot to Ageuro too, the way he celebrated. Fair play to him - he knows the score 😉

        Oddly, I've never really rated him!
        A bit slow and sort of ruins the team play somewhat, but has been a great servant for us. Definitely no Baggio though!!

    Not a good day.

    Didn't make a top 10k finish after hitting the heady heights of 5k with a few weeks to go.. Eventually finished at 11k with a 40 point week.

    And had City QPR 1-1 at 25/1, £20 on it! That twat Barton has cost possibly cost us the title and me £500!!! 🙁

    For those considering Chiellini for the Euros, he is an injury doubt already. Bonucci is a great shout though, as is Marchisio in midfield, who has been great for Juve this season

    Well, GW25 I was 41k and would've taken a top 10k finish, so I'm happy with a 5k. I'd like to think anything around that mark constitutes a decent season. Won all mini-leagues, so content enough.

    Can anyone help with this one guys ? I'm in a public head to head league. I look at it today and at the top it says 'Final' with the teams who finished 2nd and 3rd playing each other. What is all that about? I look in the rules and it says 'optionally the league may be decided by a play off over the last 3 gw's'. Who decides that then ? I never agreed to that option. I thought it was just win/lose/draw most points wins. Been playing this game 5 years and never come across it before.

    jeez, well gutted about evans playing, picking up a clean sheet and 2 BPS

    What was the deal with him showing up as red flag and injured???

    I've had him most of the season and last week even though fergie said he was injured and wouldn't play, like a lot on here I started him anyway as thought it was a smokescreen instead of getting in clichy who in turn scored 11 points!!!

    Then this week I benched him as didn't think he would play as he was obviously injured and red flagged, so didn't take a hit and just played santon, arrgghhhh

      Whatever it takes to keep Vidic fit. If he can stay fit next season it will feel like a new signing.

      In terms of an actual signing I think it's clear we need a CM and a LB, the only two players I've seen play regularly enough to have a valid opinion who may cut it are Baines and Modric. Kagawa looks like a likely signing and although I haven't seen a lot of him I would be happy with his signing.

    First year in FPL. Thanks to all scouts for all your advice, tips and banter.

    Overall 4,836
    Won cash ML by 57pts. (To all my friends in Dublin please wire funds via Western Union..LOL)
    Finished 35 in Country League!

    Lessons learned:

    1. No hits for defender
    2. Chase CS as if they are goals
    3. Form over Fixtures (i.e. RVP v Che, Ba vs United)
    4. Fix a solid GK rotation early
    5. Do not trust SAF's comments press conference

      Number 4 is a very important one. Really does help to not have to worry about trading keepers.

      My number 1 lesson is still not to make too many hits. Still haven't learned my lesson completely haha.

      It's taken me 3 season to learn 1, 3 and 4. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 2- it makes me think it contradicts with 1. 3 still has a bit of a grey area but largely true. 5 should be common knowledge to all by now!

      I think making sure you get on players in form even though you missed the initial rush is important too.

      I lost a ton of ground from xmas ish onwards as I stubbornly refused to put in Bale or Dempsey because my rival had them.

        Also forgot!!! Play money ball early in the season. Keep and eye on FISO daily. And do not be afraid to make early transfers.

    Wouldn't be surprised to see RVP leaving Arsenal this summer. 1 FA Cup to show for in 8 years at the club. A player of his class deserves to be winning trophies and have something to show for in his career.

        CL qualification will only keep you going for so long. Players want to win medals and he isn't going to do that with Arsenal. The fans love him and he gets to play a good brand of football for a good club but he is a world class player and he rightly has ambitions of winning things. Can't fault the guy if he leaves.

    Absolutely thrilled with my current rank (yet to be fully updated) and form over the last 9 green arrows. Couldn't have dreamed to have finished this high! Also only being outside the top 100K for 2 weeks is a pretty awesome feeling 🙂

      16 green arrows out of the last 17 weeks for me. Strangely, the only red arrow was the week I started hanging around on these boards again and transfered Rooney > Tevez.

    Need to get off to a flyer next season!

    Rank 1.2m after GW7, any better and could of been right up there challenging but still delighted with top 300ish finish.

    Mistakes at start
    - Expensive defence strategy
    - Overlooking form for fixtures eg Rooney
    - Not taking point hits to eradicate mistakes
