Sponsored by bet365

Double Gameweek 19 kicks off today so we are turning to the odds provided by our official sportsbook partner, bet365, to take a few modest punts on the forthcoming Premier League action.

As ever, we urge you to gamble responsibly and always remember: when the fun stops, stop.

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

Odds for the Gameweek 19 matches are:

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the midweek Premier League action 5

PAY THE PENALTY

Bruno Fernandes’ penalty-taking responsibilities could help him get on the scoresheet when Manchester United visit Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds have given up five spot-kicks this season, the joint-third-highest in the division thus far behind only Leeds and Brighton.

With Jurgen Klopp’s men more vulnerable in that department than most, Fernandes’ odds of 7/1 to score the first goal at Anfield are attractive indeed.

Those who fancy the game to be low-scoring, considering the two clubs each have two clean sheets in their last four league matches, might prefer going for under 2.5 goals at 6/5.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

FOLLOW THE LEED

No team has defended set pieces worse than Leeds in the last four matches, giving up 20 chances from such situations, the highest in the Premier League.

Brighton could take advantage of that, with Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk leading the way for efforts in the box among the club’s defenders over the same period.

Webster is top of that and can offer first scorer at 33/1 while Dunk can offer odds of 28/1 to opening the scoring at Elland Road.

Webster and Dunk are also 11/1 and 10/1 respectively to find the net anytime.

Each Way First Goalscorers

Place an Each Way First Goalscorer bet on any Soccer match.

If your player scores at any time during the game in 90 minutes play, we will pay you out at 1/3 odds for unlimited places.

STRAIGHT OUT OF LEFT-FIELD

West Ham could find joy on their left-hand side when they host Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

The Clarets have given up 40 chances on their right-hand side in away matches this season, the most of any Premier League club.

That could boost the appeal of Pablo Fornals, who is 9/1 to score first at the London Stadium.

Considering Burnley have also failed to score in three of their last five Premier League meetings, selecting West Ham for the result and No for Both Teams to score at 15/8 looks appealing.

Current BB team on a -8:

    Martinez - Johnstone
    Chilwell - Stones - Bednarek* - Dallas* - Coufal
    Salah (C) - Bruno - Rashford - Grealish - Gundogan
    Kane* - Bamford* - Antonio
    *= SGW

Worth going Bednarek -> Dawson for a hit? Seems a good move in isolation but would push me to -12 which makes it too aggressive for my current rank

    Cheers!

Take each move in isolation, Bednarak (lei) +4 vs Dawson (BUR, WBA). It's essentially a -2 hit because of the extra game, unless Sou-Leeds is rescheduled.

Not worth imo. Remember that Bednarek has two games in hand and is a better pick than Dawson. Taking a -4 for a defender that doesn't improve your team to chase points for one week is not a winning play.

-4 for a GK that arent great defensively, could be 2pts a game with maybe a bonus point,
Then you have the issue of transferring him out for a free tfr or a hit

Yeah this is the problem, being stuck with a keeper you don't want long-term who uses up funds. Then again a backup playing keeper in these times isn't the worst idea.

If McCarthy hadn't lost his double then I'd say go for it, but seeing as there's no cheap options who are any good, there's not much upside.

No, I wouldn’t. Most likely will give you 2+2 points, so not worth it. Consider their chances for A cs just as high as the chances they will concede more than 1 goal and you’ll end up with less than 4 points

See no obvious reason that he shouldn’t start both. Think he’s more likely to start both than most of the other c options this week: Salah, KDB, Bruno (if another yellow), Rashford, Sterling etc

Getting rid of Son, Kane and Robbo as part of a -12 is extremely unwise, bordering on insanity. Without BB it's an even worse decision. I am going to implore you to not do this hit.

    McCarthy
    TAA Coufal Dallas (Lewis)
    Salah Mane Bruno KDB Soucek
    Adams Bamford (Brewster)

      Looks good.

If you're feeling brave you could do Adams to Antonio.

McCarthy or Adams to a DGW player might be worth it for a hit imo

Is Bamford and Son to Vardy and Soucek for a minus 8 lunacy? I would captain Vardy as well.

Yes it's lunacy. Getting rid of good players with a good fixture for a -8 simply because they don't have a DGW isn't wise. For FT's? Sure, it's an acceptable risk. But I cannot justify doing it for a hit, especially for an injury prone Vardy and Soucek, who, while I love the guy, is still a defensive midfielder.

Thanks, you've saved me 8 points. I knew when posting that, that I'd rather someone said this than say it was a good idea.

No worries, sometimes you need to air your risky transfer thoughts and get brought down to reality 😀

I've said this about my team pre-deadline every gameweek for the past 19 gameweeks.

    Morning guys – DCL replacement?

    A) Vardy – no-brainer since I can afford him?
    B) Antonio – fitness risk, but leaves more itb?

Thanks mate. Ah, what I would do to be fit and nailed in this lockdown...

The pens argument is actually the best one. So many times Vardy has just been invisible in a match, before converting a pen and ending up with max bonus. Hate it when I don't own him, love it when I do
