Sponsored by bet365

Double Gameweek 19 kicks off today so we are turning to the odds provided by our official sportsbook partner, bet365, to take a few modest punts on the forthcoming Premier League action.

As ever, we urge you to gamble responsibly and always remember: when the fun stops, stop.

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

Odds for the Gameweek 19 matches are:

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the midweek Premier League action 5

PAY THE PENALTY

Bruno Fernandes’ penalty-taking responsibilities could help him get on the scoresheet when Manchester United visit Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds have given up five spot-kicks this season, the joint-third-highest in the division thus far behind only Leeds and Brighton.

With Jurgen Klopp’s men more vulnerable in that department than most, Fernandes’ odds of 7/1 to score the first goal at Anfield are attractive indeed.

Those who fancy the game to be low-scoring, considering the two clubs each have two clean sheets in their last four league matches, might prefer going for under 2.5 goals at 6/5.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

FOLLOW THE LEED

No team has defended set pieces worse than Leeds in the last four matches, giving up 20 chances from such situations, the highest in the Premier League.

Brighton could take advantage of that, with Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk leading the way for efforts in the box among the club’s defenders over the same period.

Webster is top of that and can offer first scorer at 33/1 while Dunk can offer odds of 28/1 to opening the scoring at Elland Road.

Webster and Dunk are also 11/1 and 10/1 respectively to find the net anytime.

Each Way First Goalscorers

Place an Each Way First Goalscorer bet on any Soccer match.

If your player scores at any time during the game in 90 minutes play, we will pay you out at 1/3 odds for unlimited places.

STRAIGHT OUT OF LEFT-FIELD

West Ham could find joy on their left-hand side when they host Burnley on Saturday afternoon.

The Clarets have given up 40 chances on their right-hand side in away matches this season, the most of any Premier League club.

That could boost the appeal of Pablo Fornals, who is 9/1 to score first at the London Stadium.

Considering Burnley have also failed to score in three of their last five Premier League meetings, selecting West Ham for the result and No for Both Teams to score at 15/8 looks appealing.

Bore Draw Money Back

According to G-Whizz, Villa have a combined chance of a clean sheet of 50% over the two games. Does Bam have that chance of a goal in one game? I think I’d actually go Targett here.

If you're saving it what are you hoping for and who would you want to give it to?

This is Liverpool's best DGW. They don't have Europe to prompt rotation, they are rested and their DGW in 26 will be shu CHE if they get it.

Who would you want to target?

    Alisson
    Stones - Coufal - Dawson
    Salah (c) - KDB (vc) - Bruno - Foden - Soucek
    Vardy - Werner

I tried to cover the big template picks and then get a few differentials in Vardy, Werner, Alisson, Foden and extra West Ham defender hoping to gain 30-40 points.

    Good luck all. 🙂

Thinking of Bissouma, Welbeck and Fernandes >>> Foden, Antonio, Rashford.

Would you BB Forster, Saiss, KWP, Grealish?

    Squad:

Having 3 dwg defenders: Justin, Coufal and R. James, what would you do for a hit?
    a) Walker-Peters -->Stones and play 4-4-2 (Bruno, Salah, KDB, Soucek, Vardy, Bamford) (Raphinha would be benched)

    Johnstone, McCarthy
    Stones, Cancelo, Maguire, Coufal,
    Salah, Bruno, Son, Raphinha, Soucek
    Kane, Bamford, Wood
    1 ft, 0 itb.

Think I just might use BB this week to get it out of the way.

Is it worth doing Bamford and Raphinha -> Gundogan and Antonio?

I really don’t understand why people are BBing with their Leeds SGW assets when they can BB the same Leeds players in the DGW which is due in a few weeks.

    Baffling to say the least.

This is actually a very good point. Feel many people are forgetting this, and Leeds will have a favourable DGW, too.

Will that Dgw be as big as this though?

It’s the Leeds players that matter as people are BBing them.

Doesn’t matter which DGW is bigger

Yeah, but most on here used WC to bring them in and thought they had a double this week. Used wc to bring in other big hitters with a double as well. If the next dgw only involves Leeds and other ‘weak’ teams its not that attractive imo.

Of course it matters, you’re saying BB makes on difference if you have 15dgwers vs say 5 or 6?

I WC in GW18 to play BB in GW19, before the postponement of the Saints v Leeds game. I’m committing to the BB despite Bamford and Rodrigo only having a (good) single game as I don’t plan on having such a spread of funds across my squad for long.

I agree but folk have planned this for weeks so single game vs Brighton isn’t bad. Bench boost is such a headache I can understand doing that! It’s more hassle than it’s worth sometimes

Leeds players won’t be the ones that would be their bench in 23 it will be the singles with worst fixtures so that isn the e comparison to make. There is also chance of cancellations and injuries that will mean they have to use transfers to maintain 15 man squad from now till then

Absolutely this! It won’t be the Leeds players that are bench boosted in a few weeks time, if only Leeds and Southampton have a double.

I assume, becuase I haven't see it posted anywhere around here, that there is NO news on the available Villa players? No Villa ITK twitter accounts or any other reliable sources?

9 or 10 out of 24 fans prem squad. Trez pretty much confirmed himself on Twitter. Barkley was missing for several matches without explanation so he is odds on IMO. Grealish Instagram post yesterday mentioned immunity and recovery so he is a worry

Why are so many people going Salah captain? Man U and Burnley aren't easy at all.

They aren't easy but look at Liverpool and Salahs home record, he's had extra rest and has an extra day between games. KDB looked exhausted and is more likely to be rested.

Longer rest and fresher. Both KDB and Bruno were looking faarked the last 20 mins of their last games.

both homes games. salah is great at home, and burnley are prone to collapse against the big teams. liverpool also motivated to smash united to overtake them in the league. can definitely see Salah doing well.

You could also argue Palace(two clean sheets in a row) and Villa(one of the best defenses in the league isn't easy too

Happy with this team considering no hits, not playing any chips with the way things are and with no-one being in great form, what do you think?

    Martinez
    Stones Coufal Dallas
    Salah(C) KDB Bruno Son Grealish
    Bamford Antonio
    Johnstone Holding KWP Brewster

    Petrified of not owning Soucek!

almost the same team, I just have Dias instead of Dallas and a slightly weaker bench.. any reason why salah captain instead of Kdb?

I could of got Dias over Stones but wanted cash ITB for the inevitable Antonio injury! Look at my replies to the post above for Salah over KDB reason

I've got a fairly similar team (with Soucek!) and no chips used - also feel pretty happy with it.
