    Happy with this WC team as the 0.0 ITB means leaving no stones unturned

    Mendy - Forster
    Trent - Stones - Rudiger - Holding - Amartey
    Salah - Bruno - Son - Jota - Gundogan
    Kane - DCL - Iheanacho

    The defense is a little troublesome, but the plan is to drop Rudiger and upgrade Amartey once fixtures turn for Chelsea. Any thoughts appreciated!

      Looks pretty decent, you've done all you can with the defense it seems. Only other real alternative is downgrading Gundogan in order to upgrade D but I'm sure you've considered that already, your plan as is sounds good

      Looks great, amazing TV.
      I still think DCL is looking poor, and he’s fairly expensive for his output over recent weeks.

      Given you have strong midfield 5, I’d downgrade DCL and upgrade Holding/Amartey and play 352/451.

            I'd like him but ultimately prefer Son. Son was originally in the side but felt I wanted to take a punt this week and buy Son back .1 cheaper if he ever drops next week. Can't have both.

      If it's final why do you want thoughts?

      Jesus(c) is a very good idea but planning a -4 the week after a wildcard is atrocious. One injury and it's a -8.

      The GKs are weak, the defence is weak, Raphinha's a rank poor choice and why the hell do you want Bruno? Get rid of him and you can have a proper team.

        Isn't that the point of this site for feedback/criticism, kind of like what you have given?
        And who would not want the highest scoring player in the game?
        The GK isn't the best but plays on a decent defense. Raphinha is a decent player in the price range imo and can sit on the bench for the next 2. What would make the dense better? covered City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

          Then it's not final unless you just want compliments.

          I don't want Bruno, got rid quite happily weeks ago and see nothing to make me want him back. Am on wildcard myself this week and he won't be in my team.

          Dias won't play every game, neither will Rüdiger. Phillips cuts Jota out permanently. You need better cover than Lowton (although Dawson for 0.1 more would probably do).

          I'd say you need to spend around 1.5m more at the back, get rid of Bruno and create an overall sharper front-8. Salah, Lingard, Kane, Vydra are all OK but the other four need improving. If that allows you to take a 1-week punt on Jesus(c) then fine but that should be the last tweak.

          Those are my thoughts, which you asked for. 😉

      He hasn't looked sharp and not really making those runs anymore which used to get him so many tapins, if KDB is rested he would be short of service as well who has been his primary source of goals.

    Any thoughts on this wildcard? Have gone top heavy. I know Amartey won't start but I'll sort that out further down the road, shouldn't need him in the next couple of GWs. Plan is likely KDB to Son for the DGW which then frees up funds to upgrade my defence as I see fit.

          Cheers. On reflection I think it is a bit susceptible to rotation so will make a few changes. Was keen on Lacazette as he has been decent recently and Arsenal's fixtures are great, but maybe it's a waste of funds that are needed at the back.

    Is there a good case for going without Bruno?

    - We don't really do too well at the fag end of the season due to fatigue and this season its even more tiresome than before
    - With Pogba playing with him, his stats have been poor
    - Our fixtures don't really scream for goals except the Leeds game who also defend alright at home
    - With top 2/3 nailed and participation in Europa knockouts could see him rested for a game or two

      Most of your points are spot on, but there's one major factor you're missing: penalties. For that reason alone, and decent-ish fixtures coming up, he's a good bet imo.
