Five-time top 1k finisher Tom Freeman: The stand-out stats for Triple Gameweek 35

With Manchester United playing three times and another eight clubs featuring twice, Triple Gameweek 35 will be a pivotal part of our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) seasons.

So, with that in mind, I’m going to pull out some relevant player and team statistics ahead of Friday’s deadline.

It makes sense to focus on this week’s round of fixtures but I’m also keeping one eye on the run-in, with differentials at West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur also making an appearance.

Shall we begin?

Earlier this week, I was fortunate enough to join fellow Pro Pundits Lateriser and Zophar on The FPL Wire.

We ran through all the teams involved in Triple Gameweek 35 and also talked targets for the run-in.

The chat complements this column and goes a bit deeper into some of the subjects covered, so if you’re into that kind of thing you can check it out via the link below:

So... tough, but likely an obvious enough move:

Son out and... either Brewster for Greenwood and Giroud

Or Son and Masuaku for Greenwood and literally any Utd defender... I suppose the latter is more optimal? Thoughts?

I don’t have Bruno but is he now essential for next GW? I’m 50+ ahead in mini leave but will cost me -8 to get him. Nearest rival has. Advice pls ?

'Forest Green Rovers have become the first professional club in England to call for a gambling sponsorship ban.

A ban is being debated as part of the 2005 Gambling Act review which should be completed by this autumn.'

Be good if a ban covered fantasy football websites maybe?

Why is there such a massive consensus building for Bruno's captaincy? Trying to understand this as this captaincy decision could be massive:

    1. He will start 2 out of 3, no chance he plays all three - at max he gets around 200mins across the 3 games (this is the absolute max I would expect, realistically I expect him to play 160-180mins)

    2. His form is nothing to speak of over the last few games in the PL - lot of players who do have DGWs and would play equivalent amount of mins have fared far better.

Is anybody else mulling over this? Would love to hear the community's thoughts.

I'm avoiding him (not just for captaincy) and feeling quietly confident. Plenty of points elsehwere. Even if he's electric, there will be tired legs around him and Leicester/Liverpool will be motivated to press them hard, I reckon.

Salah C. Greenwood VC - I'm happy to have him coming off the bench 3 times but I think he will get more than that. Salah will get 2 games. Sow will Bruno probably but look at his opponents. I would captain Maguire over him if I had to go for a Triple GW'er, but I'm not as you know 🙂
          How about you?

Just watching Scout stream. OGS has said that even Maguire can't play every minute.
