Friday night finds Mark Sutherns back alongside Andy for another members-only chat to ease us into Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 7. You can find this latest video over on our YouTube channel.

The video is an exclusive for Premium Members – and there’ll be plenty more to come in 2021/22.

This week’s episode begins with Mark stepping aside to allow Andy to enjoy the glory of a huge green arrow from Gameweek 6, as a 69-point return put him inside the top 200k.

From then on, the pair embark on their preview of Saturday and Sunday’s fare as they discuss the recent rash of defensive injuries, the lure of the Wildcard and – once again – the appeal of the Chelsea and Manchester City rearguards.

As usual, they also review their own line-ups, with Andy enjoying a purple patch and the luxury of rolling two transfers over the break, while Mark is rather pessimistically bracing himself for another red arrow.

      I almost transferred in White, and would start him vs Brighton without hesitation. Hard to argue against using Cancelo no matter what though. Won't be surprised if Liverpool score though.

            Yes.
            My other slight hesitation is that I could've done this transfer 2 weeks ago and hence there is a part of me hoping that Sanchez over the next two weeks makes up the difference I've lost (9 points) from not making the trade.
            However, that difference may only increase should Ramsdale score more.

          I’m in the same boat and would still play a Brighton defender vs Arsenal but not double up if I have the bench for it.
          I think Arsenal can de score, I’m just very hopeful that Brighton can frustrate/surprise them

      Nice team, would be tempted by:

      1) Alonso to Rudiger for nailedness (though less upside)
      2) Benrahma to Saka/ESR (West Ham fixtures not great, Europa league congestion)
      3) Upgrade the 3.9m DEF given the risks of Alonso benching if keeping and Pep fraudulence

      Hmm not sure about that logic. Mount can help Lukaku score, and he's good at stitching together the transition from defense to attack. That does not mean he is a good FPL captain option. There's a very specific set of reasons why someone can be a good captain.
