Mark Sutherns and Andy North are back ahead of Gameweek 11 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) after contrasting fortunes last time out.

Mark is recording for our subscribers every Gameweek throughout the upcoming campaign, so sign up via this link in order to see his regular appearances.

The FPL BlackBox co-host arrives off the back of a disastrous short-term result from his Wildcard which saw his overall rank double, while Andy sneaked a small green arrow to edge himself up the ladder.

But sporting an early doors Christmas jumper, Mark is in an optimistic mood, particularly with his darling Diogo Jota seemingly set to start Gameweek 11 as a potential differential.

The pair give their views on Spurs’ prospects under new boss Antonio Conte and offer some advice to those wrestling bench dilemmas ahead of Friday’s Gameweek 11 deadline.

    Sanchez
    Cancelo Chilwell Rudiger
    Salah Foden Saka ESR Tielemans
    Vardy Maupay

    Bench: Dias Livra Antonio

I have a real benching dilemma this week. You think I’ve got this right?

Could try this as well. I mean I wouldn't personally own Maupay and would sell him asap, but against Newcastle I reckon you got to play him.

        Sanchez
        Chilwell Rudiger Livra
        Salah Foden ESR Saka
        Vardy Antonio Maupay

        Bench: Tielemans Cancelo Dias

I wouldn't bench Antonio and certainly not last on bench, agree with Fish&Chips re. moving him up the order but I would be more inclined to play him.

      Sanchez

      Salah Foden ESR Saka
      Vardy Antonio

      Bench: Tielemans Dias Maupay

Antonio to Toney is a yes from me given Toney has NOR and NEW next couple and Mbeumo should be back.
Havertz to Foden could be good next week and one I'm weighing up, but Havertz does have arguably better fixtures.
Vardy is a dead set keeper for me until Kane shows any signs of doing anything worth while, so definitely a no to that one

It's a massive play off having a heavy backline with the FOMO on the good value MIDs and benching headaches for everyone! Although it should certainly make the mini leagues more interesting by driving more diversity in peoples formations.
Think I've decided to stick to 3 at the back for now with Livra and a cheapie as backup while utilising the good value MIDs for the good fixtures.

    Hey all,

Have 2 free transfer and I’m stuck on who to replace K.Walker with for this GW. Options are Chilwell or Reece James. Planning to bring one in this GW and either the other or TAA for GW12. Rival has Chilwell and Rudiger. Would appreciate your thoughts.

Current starting defence for GW12 is:
    K.Walker, Rudiger, Cancelo Duffy (Manq)

5 returns in the last 6 games and a great bench option it you have gone in heavy on premium defenders that may be rotated … I would say he is the bedrock of any FPL defence and well worth getting .. imho

    Can't decide whether to do

    A. Vardy -> Kane next week (saving FT this week)

Yep, that's the thinking but two reasons stopping me

        1) Kane might look like a good option & Vardy -> Kane is convenient

        2) Leeds' defence isn't very good either

I wouldn't get rid of Vardy personally and Kane is a wait and see for me, so I'd consider C as the best best from those options if you wanna make the most of Toney's fixtures.

    4. Root
      • 14 Years

I don't think that there's significant difference in expected points between Vardy and Toney this week. Having 2 FT for international break can be very useful.

B probably is the best choice, although I really like the idea of having that 12m forward slot. Kane nicely swaps straight to Ronaldo for GW 16.

    5. isthoralive
      • 4 Years

I’d keep the ft for IB and wait to see how the dust settles. Vardy and Toney will probably score similarly so no need to rush it.

Does anyone else NOT see an easy run of fixtures for Leeds let alone their bad form?
IMO that FDR is quite deceiving…

definitely not essential...but most have other fires like benny, sarr , havertz to put out first..

Leeds can lose all the games by 1:X, but Raphinha still scores and gets 7-10 points a game.

Leeds aren’t that good right now, however Raph is class and he’ll bang in a few goals and create heaps of chances and a few will get converted. Good player, mediocre team but he’ll get points

    Vardy, Antonio, Jimenez

    Foster, Duffy, Livramento, Brownhill

Between these two, I think you play Mbeumo. Slight 1-pointer risk, but up top against Norwich...

Depends on who you are selling. For Azpi for sure James. For Dias, I'd also do James (better fixture and observe Spurs for a game), but can see it going both ways.

    Salah Foden Gray Raph Mbuemo
    Ronaldo Dennis (ASM)

I'd play Cancelo over Dennis. GTG but a lot to fix going forward imo (Dennis, Gray, ASM in this order; could upgrade Amartey as well)

Thanks. Those in brackets are fires I was considering taking a -4 hit for one or a -8 for two this week. Just not confident in doing.

Thoughts for the hit were Toney Son ESR or Jimenez/Hwang

Wow, no-one else to bench? Respect. I'm choosing between Antonio-ESR-Mbeumo. Idk, imo you either bench Mbeumo because of the 1-pointer risk after injury, or Raphinha because the toughest opposition on paper. Cant see benching Jimenez against Palace, on pens, and after what Lage has been saying about him
