In our latest Fantasy Premier League (FPL) video of the November international break, Az chats to the current world number two Oscar – aka FPL Focal – about his triumphant season to date.

Oscar can be found profiling some of the greatest FPL managers of all time over on his YouTube channel but is in with a shout of achieving something special himself in 2021/22, sitting just three points behind Daniel Masson-Abraham in first place.

Oscar discusses his spectacularly successful decision to Bench Boost in Gameweek 11, the result of which catapulted him from 323rd to a podium place.

Luck versus skill is debated as Oscar talks us through his season history, while thoughts on his Gameweek 12 set-up and future plans – including what to do with the misfiring Ivan Toney (£6.7m) – are also discussed.

You can watch the interview via the embedded video below or over on our YouTube channel.

    Anything worth a change? 1ft 0.1itb
Will probably bench Raph for Livramento if latter is fit.

    Ramsdale
    TAA Cancelo James
    Son Raph Gallagher Salah(c)
    Toney Antonio Vardy

    Foster Livramento Duffy Brownhill

    Morning All,

With 2FTs and 0.9 itb, what to do with the below team?

    Sa'
    TAA Cancelo Livra* Chilwell
    Salah Raphinha Mount Mbeumo
    Ronaldo Antonio

    subs: Steer King Sissoko White

Was thinking Ronaldo + Mount > Kane + Foden for free or Ronaldo + Mount > Wilson + Son for free.

Both options look good, but losing Ronaldo ahead of Watford's game is not an easy decision

Well I have done Wilson and Son but do not have Ronaldo and have never owned him.

      Pros to Ronaldo
Easy fixtures 5 Good player 4 Rotation busy fixtures 2 Plays as a forward 2 Team he plays for 3. Injury Risk 5 Total 21/30

      Captain over Salah (Unlikely)

No way I would move Ronaldo out this week. They're playing Watford and even though UTD have been bad he's still scoring. If I had CR7 I would captain this week over Salah without question

Right so Vardy is going for Wilson. Then I’ll use my other FT on Jota for Benrahma or TAA for Tierney.

    Which one?

    Or both for a hit?

Morning everyone. Since its so quiet I will ask for help. 2ft, 0.6 itb:

    Sanchez / foster
    Taa Chilwell James White Livra
    Salah foden havertz gray sissoko
    Antonio vardy toney

    Thinking
    Vardy&havertz to Kane&Cornet

    Havertz&gray to Jota&Cornet

    Not sure. Any ideas?

Cancelo is a glaring omission at the moment. I'm not sure I want 4 expensive defenders. Might have to lose one of the Chelsea lads for him.

I owned both Gallagher and ESR on wildcard earlier in season, then got rid of them before they exploded. Can't quite bring myself to go back.

Best move here with 2.7 ITB and 1FT

    Ramsdale
    TAA Chilwell James Livramento
    Salah(c) Gallagher Mbeumo
    Vardy Auba Antonio

    Steele Duffy Sarr Sissoko

    A) Duffy to Cancelo and play at least 4 at the back each week (sometimes 5)

    B) Sarr to Jota

    C) Auba to Kane

    D) Save FT

B of those. Sarr looks like your weak link & with so many good midfield options at the moment, you're missing out by playing only 3. That said, I'm not entirely sold on Jota. There's lot of contextual factors working in his favour (OOP in such an attacking team, underpriced, Firmino injury, then congested schedule & AFCON) but his performances this season have been a bit underwhelming so far.

A easily. Look at the highest scoring/value players this year. 4ATB seems the way to go right now.

      B. Is an option to look at too, great value and even more when secured starts. Id look to do both a &b.

    Foster/Saka/Duffy/Brownhill

    2 frees, 0.5m ITB

0.1m short of Vardy & Saka > Wilson & Son. Might just leave the Spurs boys a week

SP increases 0.1 only after CP goes up a full 0.2. So if/when CP reaches 4.6, SP would tick over to 4.3

      PP 4.0
      CP 4.5
Difference is 0.5, halved is 0.25
      PP 4.0 plus 0.25= 4.25
      SP rounded down 4.2
      Hope this makes sense.

Jota is a better pick than Son and Kane at mo. As a spurs fan all this hype regarding Son and Kane as it stands is probably coming from these influencers who i can only assume haven't watched us play of late. Or they think Conte can pull miracles out of his arse. He needs time

appy with my team, but really want to get Vardy out and invest into midfield, - 1.0m ITB, 2FT

    Pick one:
    1) Vardy + Mbuemo + Normann --> Davis + Jota + Foden (3-5-2)
    2) Vardy + Mbuemo + Norman —> Armstrong/Hwang + Foden + Jota

Basically weighing up whether to go for a stronger bench with Armstrong/Hwang or to keep more in the bank for further weeks

    Rest:
    Ramsdale
    TAA / Cancelo / Chillwell
    Salah / Son / Mbuemo / Raphinha
    Antonio / Toney / Vardy

    Foster, Livramento, Normann, Obamadele..

2 with Hwang, even though fixtures turn quite poor soon. But he seems (relatively) more nailed than Armstrong & I think you'll want/need a better 2nd bench option than Omobamidele

£2.4 in the bank and 2FTs

    would you..

    b) bring in Son, Brownhill and Reguilon, transfer out Saka, Sarr and Rudiger.

    c) bring in Kane, transfer out Vardy
