FPL 2012/13 Is Now Open

And we’re off….Having released the Player Price List earlier on this week, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game is now officially up and running for the 2012/13 campaign, allowing us to tinker with our teams ahead of the big kick-off on Saturday August 18:

In conjunction with Tuesday’s revelation, our coverage of the player valuations continues to pick up pace. Having rolled out our analysis of the Goalkeepers and Defenders, we followed that up with a look at the Midfielders earlier this afternoon – no prizes for guessing the Forwards are on tomorrow’s agenda.

For now, though, let’s not waste any further time – our patience has been tested enough. Head off to the official site and get your team registered for the new season, folks, and let the planning begin.

      Have you looked at Arsenal's fixtures? I'd take those two out.

      Spurs now have 4 CD's. Will Kaboul start?

      Hazard & Kagawa are risks, may need time to adjust.

      Clark and Demel not nailed on in defence.
      Wouldnt have Kebe, would prefer McAnuff.

        I think he's a 1st choice player GD, and should get explosive returns when he starts. If they get RVP though, i would just avoid. Right now I think Tevez would be 1st choice with Aguero more nailed on. Balotelli did well at the Euros so would be big competition for him. I'd say he's a great punt and not a massive risk.

      looks about right might see sandro instead of modric possibly if he goes although might not fit into AVB's attacking style! Heard something about spurs trying to sign hulk so could see him out on the right if we are lucky!

    looking through the spreadsheet of two-team rotation, very helpful...

    but is it coincidence that most of the teams that pair together are rivals.
    i.e arsenal - tottenham
    chelsea - fulham
    everton - pool
    city - united

    or am i reading it wrong?

      Teams from the same area usually rotate home and away so that they're not both playing at home on the same weekend.

      I wouldn't have Vorm, Laudrup hardly known for playing it tight! Fox is one tokeep an eye on, Saints looking at other LB options. Otherwise pretty decent. Noble and Cisse are good value imo

    Am I correct in saying that Man City, Chelsea & Spurs have the easiest fixtures to start?

    So, it is best to load up on their players, get the nailed on starters?

    Then use the WC when, their values are higher, we know who is starting, the fixtures get tougher for the above teams & easier for the other big teams.
