And we’re off….Having released the Player Price List earlier on this week, the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game is now officially up and running for the 2012/13 campaign, allowing us to tinker with our teams ahead of the big kick-off on Saturday August 18:

In conjunction with Tuesday’s revelation, our coverage of the player valuations continues to pick up pace. Having rolled out our analysis of the Goalkeepers and Defenders, we followed that up with a look at the Midfielders earlier this afternoon – no prizes for guessing the Forwards are on tomorrow’s agenda.

For now, though, let’s not waste any further time – our patience has been tested enough. Head off to the official site and get your team registered for the new season, folks, and let the planning begin.

    WBA's right back. I can't understand why anyone would buy a more expensive WBA defender. When he was at Crewe he picked up a few goals so has some potential in that area if he is allowed to roam into the right areas. Can also play OOP Centre midfield if required.

Why is everyone saying that MON loves Cuellar and he's guaranteed starting?

Its a free transfer with someone he's worked with before. Doesn't make it guaranteed. See it more of a squad builder myself. Would he have not brought him in Jan if he raved so much about him as Cuellar was out of favour at Villa anyway and Sunderland had injures at the back if I remember correctly?
