For the many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers currently frustrated at the number of injuries building up in their squad, give the ‘Free Hit’ of Fantasy5 a try this week!

The free-to-play weekly game features five matches, within which each player is assigned a points target. Pick five players that successfully exceed their target and you will win at least a share of £10,000 or the jackpot outright.

There are various other prizes on offer, too, while you can even set up a mini-league and compete with colleagues, friends and family.

Win £10,000 for free with Fantasy5 by picking the best players for Gameweek 1 3

HOW TO PLAY

It’s as simple as this: pick five players from the nominated Gameweek 11 matches below and, if they all exceed their ‘points targets’ (a par score set by Fantasy5 for each asset), you’ll be in the money:

  • Fulham v Bournemouth
  • Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
  • Leeds United v Arsenal
  • Manchester United v Newcastle United
  • Liverpool v Manchester City

Even if you don’t succeed in getting all five right, Fantasy5’s leaderboard allows you to win prizes beyond the £10k jackpot.

We have selected our own picks for Gameweek 11, which can you can read below.

The deadline for this week’s entries is at 15:00 BST on Saturday 15 October.

SCOUT’S GAMEWEEK 11 PICKS

Nine players defeated their points target during Gameweek 10 but, as none took place during the meeting of Brighton and Hove Albion and Spurs, winning £10k wasn’t possible.

A trio of Bournemouth players were successful against Leicester City, just like popular FPL names Andreas Pereira, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

So let’s put faith in Pereira (6.5) again. In the absence of Aleksandar Mitrovic (6.5), he executed a perfect autosub for FPL owners by scoring the opener at West Ham United. Furthermore, with Willian (6.5) injured, Pereira was back on all set-pieces and we hope this will lead to more returns at home to Bournemouth.

Everton matches are tougher to call because six of their nine matches have either ended 1-1 or 2-1, meaning it’s hard to confidently back a clean sheet for either them or Spurs, yet hauls are spoiled by them never scoring or conceding more than twice.

Both Son Heung-min (8.5) and Harry Kane (9.5) scored and assisted against Frankfurt on Wednesday, so let’s pick the lower target of Son, who would also gain an extra point for scoring.

Meanwhile, Arsenal assets Saka, Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus will need multiple goal involvements to exceed 8.5 points at Leeds. Midfield colleague Granit Xhaka (6.5) is already on two goals and three assists for this campaign, having been given more license to get forward.

Old Trafford hosts Sunday’s battle of the Brunos but we’ve backed summer signing Antony (7.5) to continue his goal streak. The Brazilian has scored in all three league appearances whilst Newcastle have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven outings. It’ll likely be a low-scoring game, so an Antony goal and clean sheet will be good enough here.

Finally, this weekend climaxes with the big clash between Liverpool and Man City. Whilst the Reds’ poor form prevents this game from being the top two title teaser it could’ve been, Wednesday night’s devastating 7-1 win in the Champions League could return some confidence.

As Pep Guardiola’s champions have conceded the fewest goal attempts so far, it’s still difficult to pick a Liverpool option though. Midfielder Rodri (4.5) is on three assists and just needs another to defeat his low target.

HOW DOES FANTASY5 WORK?

Win £10,000 for free with Fantasy5 – pick the best players for Gameweek 6 1

Fantasy5 is easy to play as it follows the exact same scoring system as FPL, just without the bonus points.

It’s also the fastest media outlet for live Fantasy points, displaying all player points from the five games in question, as well as the live score and time.

For the more detailed lowdown, head here.

The competition is limited to one entry per person per round and selections must be submitted before kick-off of the first eligible match.

If two or more entrants correctly select five players who all score more than their points target, then the prize pot is split among all winners.

I know premature, but for GW12, do these sound like good moves?

Chilwell (or James injury dependant), Barnes & Mitrovic to Jonny (or any defender under 4.7), Trossard & Nunez?

Could also go Barnes to Trossard this week but think having 2ft next week could be very useful.

I have the exact Team except Saliba instead of Schar (so possibly a worse scenario than you considering the Blank GW next week?).

I'll be looking to hold this week and hoping for some positive news on Mitro and James in the pressers.

If not so positive, I'll look to Andreas and Trippier coming in for both.

Next week, I'll be looking at KDB & Cancelo out for Salah & possibly a Palace Defender (bringing Cancelo back for GW13).

Unlike you, I may just have to take a hit on James next week as well depending on the news, but may also ride it out with 10 players if there is nobody worth it.

Got a few fires to put out this week and next but I'm wondering if I might be better off saving the FT... What do you reckon?

    A) Save FT
    B) Gordon to Almiron/Gross
    C) Something else

    Ward
    Cancelo James* Perisic

Last brag but I’m in the top 100 in the world. Could have been even better if I went Kepa over Guaita but can’t conplain. Few issues this week though like many.

    2FT 0.9 ITB

    Guaita
    Cancelo*, James*, Trippier
    Foden*, Maddison, Martinelli, Bowen
    Haaland*, Kane, Mitrovic*
    Ward, Andreas, Neco*, Guehi

Had planned Neco to Webster/Kilman etc and roll
Then Foden to Trossard and roll

Very well done, it looks like how I imagine a top 100 squad to look. Pereira has you covered for Mitro and 2 FT means probably James to move on. But 0.9 itb means maybe the Neco upgrade this week and monitor? As to who upgrade Neco to... you tell us, you're top 100! (Jonny would be my punt to cover any RJ absence this week and keep Guehi rooted to bench).

      This is the key question.

Firmino more explosive, but I predict least minutes of the three.

Darwin suits the system, good underlying data, and starting to find the back of the net. But most expensive.

Jota least explosive than the three I think, but a really good all round route to points. Can play in multiple positions so should help the minutes.

I think the question will largely be dictated by Klopp’s use of Salah. If Salah starts in the front 2, that’s assuming Klopp keeps the system (I think he will but just not for City game), I don’t think Darwin fits there with him, but that’s just a hunch.

So, I have no idea who to chose. For me, it’s between Darwin or Firmino. This is based off Darwin getting the most minutes GW12-14, whilst Firmino is cheapest and the most explosive and in form.

I’ll add that my decision will be dictated by who plays at the weekend. For example, if Firmino starts I doubt he plays midweek as that will be 3 starts in a week.

If Darwin starts at the weekend I’ll be annoyed.

This is key for me and why I'm delaying the decision until GW12. Salah has been awful on the right but if Klopp plays Elliot out there and Mo through the middle then that changes everything.

Yeah exactly, because I don’t think Darwin and Salah upfront together would work. They’ve got nobody there who links the play unlike Jota/Firmino. But I can’t help feel that the 4-2-4 was to accommodate Darwin hence he’s started each game with the new formation.

      Tough one
      Firmino has the form.
      Nunez passes the eye test.
Jota looks to be nailed as he can play on the left and up front with Diaz out.

It’s a crap shoot either way, Pool are still scoring but the teams form is awful. I’d prefer Firmino as he’s clearly got his eye in and finding the target but subject to rotation, which will burn you. I was all for Nunez early doors and had him for the sending off 🙄 if you can postpone the transfer for more info I think that’s probably worthwhile.

      B, but A on form.

      Liverpool will start like this:

      Allison
      Gomez Konate VVD Robertson
      Henderson Thiago
      Salah Firmino Jota
      Nunez

Problem is Thiago is out of form, so it might well be they add Fabinho and bench Jota to adapt a fluid front three.

Dier or Dunk until the World Cup? Bare in mind that I have Andersen who can be rotated in for Brighton's tough fixtures in 13 and 14.

Dier the better asset go have. However if Pal / Bri rotate well I would go with that and use the money to upgrade elsewhere

My team has three injuries and the bench is rubbish...

    Pope
    Cancelo, James*, Trippier
    Sterling, Maddison, Zaha, Andreas
    Haaland, Kane, Mitrovic*

    Bench: Iversen, Botman, Bailey*, Emerson

Would you do Emerson + Mitrovic > Dunk + Solanke (2 FTs)??

Would leave me with Dunk on the bench in case James doesn't play and he's good for week 12 too.

Has anyone else who has planned to WC in GW13 now started to think about doing it this week with the various flags? I have TAA crocked, James flagged, Gordon suspended, Neco dropped and Archer getting splinters in his backside! Or do I risk only fielding 9/10 in GW11 & 12 and hoping to claw ground back with the 4 week WC? Any advice greatly appreciated

Might be worth playing it with max 4 players from Arsenal and City.

Had a look at it as similar issues with injuries/benchings.

Decided the benefits of waiting till GW13 and getting 6 Arsenal & City outweigh the risk of 0/1 points from my 10th and 11th starters in the next 2.

Are Arsenal assets vital? Only Forest at home stands out. I would probably keep / bench Haaland and Cancelo and save room / money to get Foden in GW13

If I WC in GW12 (the blank one), is this mental?

    Ward (LEE)
Trippier, Schar (EVE), Andersen (WOL), Webster (NFO)
Son (mun), Paqueta (liv), Trossard* (NFO), Andreas (AVL)
    Darwin, Firmino (WHM)

    Iversen, Haaland, Martinelli, Cancelo

*2m left ITB to get Foden/Saka
Happy to run with Leicester keepers as I can't pick keepers (evidently) so will just stay cheap. Only 5 weeks left til unlimited transfers.

Depends on how your team looks now but I'd want to keep the WC till after the blank to load up on Arsenal and City afterwards. Zaha and Maddison (assuming not suspended) feel like they need to be there.

I would love to do that, but then I risk playing the blank GW with 6-8 players (assuming no more injuries). Team is pretty good this week too.

Re: Maddison/Zaha. Rank is pretty poor and I feel a 5 week gamble on some differentials could be worth it.

Suprising lack of teams on here with the tailsman in midfield across all positions

With Haaland being almost a locked captain (not this week for me) - then getting a loaded midfield of mid range is a very good way to get ahead of the crowd

Im currently planning a -4 to get Kepa for Ederson this week

then 3 transfers for another -4 week 13 to get this (which i expect people will be trying to get to more and more by week 14,15,16 etc)

Happy to move out Mitro and Andreas after 12 as Fulham attacking numbers are down (although week 12 he is a viable captain)

    Week 13 team plan
    Kepa
    James Cancelo Trippier
    Zaha Saka Foden Martinelli Bowen
    Kane Haaland
    ward schar Neco 4.3
