Newcastle v Arsenal team news: Isak and Wilson start together

Arsenal head to Newcastle United on bank holiday Sunday in the sixth match of Gameweek 35.

Both teams enjoyed 3-1 wins in their most recent games, beating Chelsea and Southampton respectively.

Eddie Howe makes just one change to his Newcastle starting XI, with Callum Wilson coming in for Anthony Gordon, who drops to the bench.

That means Wilson and Alexander Isak start together for the first time in the Premier League, an intriguing development with Double Gameweek 36 on the horizon.

As for Arsenal, Gabriel Magalhaes is fit to start despite taking a knock in midweek, with Mikel Arteta’s only alteration seeing Gabriel Martinelli replace Leandro Trossard.

          Agreed re Martial etc but what worries me is some are players be bought in. Antony is nowhere near the level we need. Malacia is a squad filler at best. I hope I’m wrong but looking at the XI’s, I just can’t see us coming away with 3 points tonight

    FPL assist rules need to be revisited. An opposing player deflecting in a shot should not be an assist under any circumstances

      It does play to the bigger sides, but then they have additional games.

      Difficult one, but I would prefer 3 from 7 then 5 from 9.

      All academic though.Eventually it will be unlimited size benches and rolling subs.

    After Trent, my second highest scorer this GW is Olise with 3.

    I tend to have the same team as those on the FPL podcast but who oddly score 20pts more than me most weeks.

    I am sure they will have all got 70+ pts with 9 of my 11.
