I think Wolves are a team to target. Wouldn't be surprised to see them finishing 20th.

      Definitely team to target.
Best players are leaving and almost none coming in, recipe for disaster.

If Fulham keep Palhinha I think they've survive. Retaining Willian was huge. I think they're better than Bournemouth, Luton, and Sheffield United. Probably Forest too.

Still on my main original draft, but I did draft a different team with Father & Son of course.
Which do you prefer? Assuming Kane stays:

    A)
    Pickford
    Trent | Gabriel | Estupinan
    Salah | Bruno | Saka | MGW | Andreas
    Haaland | Wissa

    Areola | Baldock | Beyer | Woodrow

    B)
    Pickford
    Trent | Gabriel | Estupinan | Botman
    Son | Bruno | Bowen | Kluivert
    Haaland | Kane

    Areola | Beyer | Nakamba | Woodrow

    Thanks

    Morning, all.

This feels both templatey and quite lightweight... Thoughts?

    Pickford

    TAA, Gabriel, Estu

    Foden, Rashford, Saka, Mbuemo, Enciso

    Haaland, Jesus

    (Areola; Pau, Henry, Surridge)

    1. Fat Frank
      • 8 Years

Solid, personally prefer Andreas if fit for the start over Enciso.
But if he isn’t I’ll likely go Enciso too

Prefer him cos he's more likely to start? I do have £1m in the bank so I could go to, for example, Mitoma.

Yer, I think it's intentional haha I started last season only picking players with under 10% ownership to see how it would go.

              It went terribly.

Its very template, but after playing half the season without Haaland I can't exactly begrudge you that 🙂

Personally not that keen on Trent at 8m when you could downgrade him to a 4.0, rotate Henry/Pau in his place and use that 4m for huge upgrades in midfield.

Hey, Ment - hope you're having a good summer!

Yes, was just saying to F&S above about the trauma of last season's approach resulting in a very template team this time around haha.

The Trent pick I'm not certain about (tho I am considering him as a 6th midfielder with added defensive points potential, which makes the price more bearable). Could replace with Shaw and upgrade Enciso to an Ars/MNU double up. If Kane stays/they replace him well, I might go with Maddison.

Do you not think Foden plays more with Mahrez (likely) on his way out? I'll probably not end up with Enciso: I have £ itb for Mitoma.

I've got Foden and tbf i also had Enciso too with minutes risks.

I traded Jesus for Pedro to also afford Rashford. I've also got Salah but no Trent.

Gw1 is a compromise and even with the pricing with Haaland selected there's a choice to be made.

I'm going with Foden to start if pre-season indicates he's likely.

Surely Wilson has to start for Newcastle? How does he fit in with Isak? Or is it one or the other but not both?

I think Isak is first choice and he'll rotate with Wilson but both can play together too.

One might be preferred for the league and champions league.

    2. Mayor of Flair

Ya I think Isak is probably first choice but he could be put out wide and Wilson through the centre. Both a little risky I think.

They just signed Barnes to play left wing - Isak will start as the 9 until he gets injured around GW5.

    Onana
    TAA Gabriel Estu Tripp
    Saka Rash Mbuemo Mitoma
    Haaland GJesus

    Areola Pau Nakamba Semenyo

    0.5m itb

Not reinventing the wheel or anything.

I bet its a lot of work maintaining the site, writing the content, managing the data received from OPTA etc.

If someone else had the resource and staff, though, there's a gap in the market for a better designed site, with data visualisation tools instead of just tables in the members area and a focus on proper writing with no filler from so-called expert pundits who are nothing of the sort.

I really like Eze as a pick.

I also think Saka and Odegaard are the best Arsenal attackers.

I’ve toyed with having Trent, but currently without. Too many good options at 4.5 - 5.5. You can easily have four great defenders in your team.

Consider going Onana for Man United def coverage.

He's being prosecuted in the US.

They're stricter on punishing insider trading etc. there.

0.5 cheaper. Rashford got a lot of his points when he was used as the main striker. They might sign a new striker. Bruno likely to play more minutes and on penalties. Rashford more likely to get injured. There isn't much between them but that is my reasoning.

            22/23 - 17G 5A
            21/22 - 4G 2A
            20/21 - 11G 11A

Personally I don't think he will. He is still a great pick and it's tempting to have both but I'd rather have saka and martinelli as a double. Some teams have rashford bruno saka and martinelli but there is way too much value in defence which I have opted for instead

They've beaten them once since 1975...

1-0 in 2015. Plus a draw after that.

They've managed to score just one goal in 5 of the last 16 matches.

Pep roulette... Even with fewer options it's the quality that counts.

#ManCity Starting XI vs Bayern Munich: Ederson, Walker (C), Stones, Dias, Ake, Lewis, Kovacic, Bernardo, McAtee, Grealish, Alvarez.

Substitutes: Ortega Moreno, Carson, Phillips, Cancelo, Haaland, Laporte, Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Gomez, Akanji, Perrone, Foden, Bobb, Palmer.

Son saying he feels fully fresh and fit after being in pain all last season.

Tempting, but still a wait and see?

If Kane is out, they'll be in transition. Kulusevski and Richarlison should both be capable of more attacking returns. Need to see how and where Maddison fits in...

Personally, Diaz is too good to be left out. He's unplayable at times and people forget that as he's been out so long, leaving 3 players fighting for the central spot. Of course Diaz will be rested and Darwin will get minutes at LW but not enough to make him a good option, at least at this stage, imo

Just watching a bit and Stones has a license to roam when Man City are in possession.

Popping up with shots on the edge of the box and sometimes the most advanced player receiving the ball in the box.

Think i should get him back in ...

Worth the minutes risk over someone like Shaw?
