Gone for a slightly riskier approach in midfield but could pay in first 1-3 gwks

    Onana
    Chilly Gabriel Estu
    Garnacho Saka Salah Trossard Rashy
    Pedro Haaland

    Turner / Botman / Baldock / Mubama

1m in the bank to switch Garnacho & Trossard to 2x 6.5m mids if needed.

    Flekken
    Estupinan Chilwell Saliba Botman
    Salah Rashford Ode Martinelli
    Wissa Haaland

    Areola Archer Baptiste Beyer

Thoughts? Too thin? Tear it apart.

I like lazy and not too much overthinking with GKs. It’s been many seasons I’d bench the wrong guy many times and this year I think I want to play it simple in the goal

Turner for Areola and not having to play botman gw2 and 3 (maybe buy him in gw 5 and get someone else as a placeholder) and this is a good team

Final go at this .... probably

    Pickford
    Chillwell / Gabriel / Estu
    Saka / Salah / Rashford / Eze
    Haaland / Pedro / Wissa
    Bench - Turner / Rodrigo / Baldock / Kabore
    0.5 ITB

Could maybe bring Onana in but like having the 0.5 ITB for any future changes.

    Thanks!

8/10 for me. I think i'd do Foden to a 6.5m and Onana to a 4.5m to fund Saka and Chilwell. Then again, nice to have some differentials.

      Kabore and Baldock

Would've said Beyer but he has horrible fixtures till GW 10. I'm playing 3 at the back with those 2 on the bench. Would gladly play them in their easier home games if my first 11 get injured

    Which do you prefer??

    A:
    Onana
    Stones Gabriel Estupiñán
    Rashford Saka Jota* Mitoma Eze
    Haaland Pedro
    Turner // Watkins Chilwell Kabore

    Jota may be Martinelli instead.

    B:
    Onana
    Chilwell Gabriel Estupiñán
    Salah Rashford Saka Eze
    Haaland Jackson Pedro
    Turner // Chukwuemeka Baldock Kabore

Chuk could be another 4.5. Baldock could be Beyer instead.

    C:
    Onana
    Chilwell Gabriel Estupiñán
    Salah Rashford Saka Mitoma Eze
    Haaland Pedro
Turner // Colwill* 4.5 FWD Kabore

Colwill could be another DEF. Or Trossard instead of Mitoma and a 4.0 DEF?

That's what I'm half and half on. Liverpool look like scoring a few, but tough to weigh up against the cheaper options.

    Pickford (turner)
    Stones Estupi Gabriel (Colwill Baldock)
    Odegaard Saka Bruno Rashford Mitoma
    Haaland (C) Jackson (archer)

I guess it’s pretty much template but I haven’t seen many teams with Shaw so I have a question:

    Onana (Turner)
Gabriel - Estu - Stones (Shaw - Kabore)
    Bruno - Odegard - Saka (c) - Mitoma - Eze
    Pedro - Haaland (Watkins)

    A) Shaw—> Gvardiol and Bruno —> Rashford
    B) sit tight

I'm finding the 4.5 defensive options a bit of a challenge this season. I'm currently on Udogie as he looks like he offers a good attacking threat out wide, but the flip side of that is Poste's attacking set up which suggests clean sheets may be scarce where Spurs are concerned.

    Better options to be had?

The Villa lads all look tempting (Cash, Mings, Konsa, Pau) but as a Villa fan I am put off by the upcoming ECL games and think rotation is likely.
Colwill looks a decent option but planning to bring in Chilwell gw3 (so reluctant to double up)
Botman possibly but just seems a dull pick
Seen Pinnock mentioned on here but not inspiring me.

See I am thinking that Pau will feature in early ECL games because of his experience.

If I had to go with one it would probably be Konsa as he looks the most versatile (has played as CB and wing back in pre-season)

Probably the last real decision I need to make..who do I put alongside Turner. Posting reasoning too so that this isnt just a A vs B post

    A) Johnstone.. Was worried about Guaita but Guaita fixed that problem for me by imploding any chance he had of gametime. Palace are pretty defensively sound under Hodgson and have a nice fixture run considering Turner covers their tougher fixtures till gw 9

    B) Pickford.. On paper he is the perfect partner to Turner. However, most everton fans I know are expecting a horrid season. Dyche hadn't really improved them defensively last season either.

    C) Flekken.. IF he can fill rayas boots he could be a gem. Problem is Brentford start of vs Tottenham and may not be as good as they were last season without raya and toney

    D) Fabianski.. Ruled him out for now due to fixtures. Around WC time he ll be a great option

    E) Leno.. somehow i can't stand the thought of playing a fulham player week in week out

Which one would you go for?

Of those I think Johnstone. Feels like the most solid. Everton look likely to be an absolute state to me.

True. With him being confirmed number 1 I'm leaning towards him too. Small sample size but he averaged 4 ppg last 9 games of the season. With Pickford we know his ceiling will.be similar to last season So it's not really inspiring me

Brighton triple up maybe a little strong long term. Love the KDB pick though!
