EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool goalkeeper, Allison Becker, is not interested in a move to Saudi Arabia this summer, amid reports that Al-Nassr are negotiating a deal. The deal is described as “impossible.”

Spion Kop is a Liverpool ITK. Has been for years. C345Sam has got quite a few sources, always gets news a but early - although does aggregate a little too.

Kane gone, Salah leaving and KDB broken.

That's it, Towers botched FPL with their pathetic pricing this year. It's a year where budget does not matter - pick Haaland as your captain and then anyone else you fancy.

I agree they got the pricing way out of whack this season. I can think of a dozen template players who should be 0.5-1.0 pricier than they are.

Pricing is aimed at attracting casuals to the game.
It's a business and they don't care about small percentage of hard-core data analysing, football lovers.

Cheap popular players allow even someone who don't watch football week in and out to pick a 15 names he knows, and that's exactly what people in charge of fpl want.
Masses to play the game and stay engaged, it shouldn't be challenging as most people would loose interest.

Yes, I'd keep any City midfielder already in your team. In my case that's none, but will review when I play my WC after GW4. I wonder if Pep would consider a back 5, with Cancelo and Walker playing wing back - not that Walker's ideal for that or that Pep and Cancelo get along.

Different manager and different setup. The examples you've given shouldn't impact the decision making for picking players this season

Should be taken into account when making a decision.
How many good players with great stats came to PL and flopped altogether or had a very bad 1st season.
Look at Darwin Nunez last year, or even such absolute legend like Thierry Henry in his 1st season.
All I'm saying is that of you are going for 3 up front, it makes sense to pick proven players over "new toys" as with proven players you get what you pay for without gambling.

Then you have players like Haaland and Isak that have done well in their first season in the PL

Haaland is a completely different animal.
Isak had 12 returns last season.
Are you happy for Jackson to score or assist every 3rd game?

A return every 3rd game for Jackson in his first season in the PL would match Isak returns last season.

Yeah, went for mitoma and eze at that price point. But mbuemo also tempting. My main rival has him though, so keen not to copy.

    Play Onana or Turner?

Was set on Turner but some decent saves could swing it?

    What to do here?

A: Bruno -> Jota (-4) (also have Rashford)
B: start Bruno and bench one of Wissa(1) and Pedro(2)
    C: bench Bruno

Hi all. Over at Scout's other site (Fantasy Football Community), Louis and I are taking a few questions for Thursday's podcast.

Feel free to drop one below, as we approach GW2 🙂

Jota for me. Just because he didn’t return the last game doesn’t mean he’s not gonna smash it GW2. My money’s on him doing so.

I think what no one knew was how toothless United would look under maximally favorable conditions.

I’m not jerking him out yet, but it weren’t an encouraging display.

Myself, and other United fans, were advising against doubling up on attackers before the season started.

It was pretty obvious he would play through the middle as Martial and Hojlund aren’t fit.

I did not double up, and the sentiments I've expressed in this thread (as perhaps distinguished from OP's) are based more on the lack of team cutting edge than Rash's positioning. Hopefully, Hojlund's return to fitness helps.

    Headache this weekend.

    Salah vs Bournemouth 3pm
    Haaland vs Newcastle 8pm

    What's everyone doing for this?

If you have Salah and don't captain him at home to Bournemouth while Haaland is against a very decent Newcastle team, then you don't really need him at his price

Fair enough. Salah © it is then!

You don't *have* to captain Salah if Haaland looks the better option. You have him for the option to captain.

If GW1 or any other info changes your opinion on best captain, then reflect that in your choice....

Looks like Saliba is rising should I swap Gabriel for him? Didn’t want to make this sideways move and wait for next week to see but if I miss out now then I won’t be able to make the change as .1 is like .5
