Thought he was crap in the super cup, never quite looked confident and was a bit nervy making a lot of wayward passes that got his team into trouble.

He was spending a lot of time up the pitch in midfield which would be appealing if he continues to play in that role and settles down over the next few matches.

As always with man city you're not assured of starts with any player and they currently seem to have a glut of defenders which makes them even less appealing than usual.

    Bench 2 defenders:

    a) Gabriel
    b) Cash
    c) Estupinan
    d) Henry
    E) Gusto

I've got a FT left and probably will use it to switch out Foden.

Okay to roll for a week and get 2FT? 0.5m ITB.

    Turner (Pickford)
    Estupiñán Shaw Gabriel (Kabore Beyer)
    Salah(c) Saka Rashford Eze (Chukwuemeka)
    Haaland Jackson Pedro

Some flaws but reckon it can get through the week

Gabriel out is the kind of move that I tend to regret soon enough, as a transfer-heavy player myself. You've got the 0.5 to see what happens in the first match after Timber's injury, so I think it's fine to hold fire there... As for the rest, it's because they blanked 😀

Long season ahead, so let's see how they do in a few more matches

Just wondering what the general consensus is among those on here regarding washing-up and if there's much of a template emerging? (haven't been able to check these forums as regularly as i used to but still like to think about washing up efficiency)

Just a couple of options i'm toying with, which do you prefer?

A.) Wash large items like pots, pans and baking trays first

B.) Wash smaller items like cutlery and side plates first

A few things i'm weighing up; A.) has the benefit of using the hottest water on the items most likely to have baked on/stuck on grease/food but also means that you're washing the least dirty items (typically cutlery and small plates) in the dirtiest water, hence the appeal of B.)

Not sure if i'm barking up the wrong tree and open to other ideas.

Not got enough itb to upgrade to a dishwasher at this time.

      B. Defo.

      Drop cutlery in the sink.

      Wash any glass ware first.

      Do the crockery then cutlery.

Rinse out and soak dirty pans or oven dishes. Come back and rinse and repeat.

The dishwasher is more efficient and saves £ and time. The energy efficiency setting takes longer but is cheaper as it doesn't heat to such high temperatures.

I can’t advise strongly enough to make sure you’re using a premium, quality washing liquid. You get what you pay for, and once you’ve made the switch from a budget option, it’s like playing a triple captain chip every week.

Small things have to go first so I can pile everything up on my tiny drying rack. The exception is one big plate (or one tiny chopping board) that needs to be done first to slot into the end of the rack to stop everything else from falling as I pile it up to the bottom of the cabinets above!

Also, cutlery last so if anyone comes around before I'm done, it looks like less of a mess.

Cutlery last really goes against the grain comparing to the others responses here, much more of a differential.

Will certainly pay dividends when you're mid-wash and someone you need to appear less slovenly before drops in.

You can tackle most things with a sponge and brush rotation. Brush and hot water for the cast iron and carbon steel, bring on the sponge with soap for the more delicate stuff.
Just don't bench the wrong one

Yeah not really, surely if there is an injury we will know tomorrow during the press conference, no?

      The logic being:

If Estu was really injured, no one would be throwing the term 'ACL' or any other potential diagnosis around.

Yeah, no, he's trying, but that doesn't work for me 😀

Lost Timber in GW1 and now James in GW2. Precious transfers being wasted on Skoda’s when I am looking for a Rolls-Royce.

      Hamstring on James?
      Usually 3-8 weeks recovery...

Likely to be months more than weeks I reckon. And always that risk of breaking down again on his return so he is really gonna struggle to get momentum back in his career.

With Haaland and Salah both expected to be benched, Gabriel out of favour, Stones injured and Estupinan likely out with an ACL….. it’s wild card time isn’t it?

    Hi folks.

I really want to find an extra 2.5m to upgrade a 4.5 to Jackson.

The only way I can see this is going Rashford to a 6.5.

On the one hand, it's mad even considering, but on the other, it gives me an extra playing asset, plus a forward option with great fixtures

Start Eze (Ars H) or Brooks (Liv A)?

Eze looks like the obvious choice but Brooks was very dangerous last week and Liverpool defense doesn't really inspire confidence does it?
