Isak mate. Bought him gw3 over Alverez. Silly really.

      Stick or twist?

Went foden isak over sterling alvertz were my two choices. Wanted to avoid Jackson.

      Pedro on bench.

If nunez starts may get him. Pedro to Awoyini (rotates with Eze)

I guess I hold 2 more gws right Hairy?

Really not sure about how Howe will manage Isak and Wilson with the Champions League coming up.

Genuinely think Isak is still first choice striker, but we might see Howe start Isak in the CL and Wilson in the Prem, especially given the fixtures. Not sure if we start to see that with Brentford game or if Isak gets the first 60 mins.

Maybe see if there is a leak for the early kick off and go for Nunez if he's playing, and you want him.

    Rumours are.

    Johnstone to lose

His wife is a little homesick (come from Manchester, but not desperate to move)

    Has a £10m release clause.

Was a possible line up for Wolves if they sold Sa.

Johnstone is happy to stay though.

Henderson came as being frozen out at Man utd and was rotting on the bench.

Wanted to join Palace and is happy to fight for first team

    They both get on well.

If Henderson wins the race to be no.1, and it might be a while yet, SJ may move, as Palace were lining up Iverson as no.2 on deadline day if he had move.

But Johnstone would only move to a Midlands or Northern based club with a chance of being no.1

I have Johnstone and happy to hold until otherwise.

Isak up front on ghe other hand ....... no idea what to do

I know for a fact managers use xGP, and Johnstone's not done great in that department. His shot stopping has been poor. And given Henderson left United to play football, I think it's inevitable he comes in shortly. Probably this GW imo. It's a part of the reason why I WCed.

Turner I have a little more hope for, as his shot-stopping has been very good, outperforming his xGP. I think it's his spot for now.

Ederson and Allison going to block your access to other assets in a DGW. Rather go Vicario who has been pretty good unless you plan to triple up on Spurs.

Everyone is wrong here I looked into this recently, seeing who was on the pitch at the time. At the moment it seems that Benhrama is first choice and Paqueta is second choice. If someone misses, this could change though, Bowen lost pens last season for missing one or two

This 100%. I wonder where all these optimistic Bower owners come from. I remember him losing pens while missing against Pool etc (as an owner) and after that it has been all Benrahma until Paqueta had one this season.

In a similar situation, I think the -4 actually looks ok, i like archer as a long term 8th attacker and wouldnt be overly worried about losing watkins, can always work out a route back to villa in a few gameweeks

Defences to target this GW are WOL, BOU, EVE and UTD in my humble opinion.

I know everyone is all over Spurs assets. SHU will concede but don't think it will be a cricket score.

SHU are bottom or almost bottom of the majority of defensive metrics. They've conceded the most chances by some distance.

That just doesn't seem logical, given that he doesn't stand out for save %, only 1 Bap so far, his defence is conceding lots of chances, and TOT are 2nd only to Brighton in chances created.

Sheffield hasn't become a strong defence because City only scored twice against them

They conceded twice to Everton, who had previously scored none all season

It's all just individual matches having different circumstances. By the data, they're definitely among the defences to target

Burnley only conceded thrice to City. Spurs scored 5

Then they conceded 30 shots vs City and only concded 2.

That's City's fault, and the reverse vs Fulham was City's doing as well

Leno and Foderingham are both good shot stoppers. Leno is VERY good at it

But somehow, City were very inaccurate vs Sheffield (gifted Foderingham many saves), and then put Fulham to the sword by scoring most of the 7 shots they had all game (no saves for Leno). Each of these two matches was a fluke event

This is part of why many of us keep the single-week chips for double GWs. One match will always have a higher chance of fluke events than two matches in a row. Just playing the probabilities

If you triple capped Haaland vs Fulham then you are smiling.

Fact of the matter, SHU have been the worst defence statistically since GW1 but have not conceded the most goals.

Three opponents who aren't known for scoring many (Palace, Forest and Everton) and a truly off-day Man City as their fourth

Still nowhere near enough data (imo) to suggest that the gap between GC and xGC will continue to be this wide

Expecting Spurs to wreck 'em, especially if Son starts up to, even though I have just Maddison and I'm capping Haaland

I just don't think Spurs vs SHU will be a cricket score.

Correct Foo, it's not about who's right or wrong, as we're all trying to predict what's going to happen...

Not saying TOT v SHU will be a cricket score either, but I definitely think they're a defence to target. You were maybe unlucky with your TC punt, hopefully I won't be with Udogie, Maddison and Son(C)...

I actually really do not mind playing Morris against 2 of the worst defences in the league before a DGW. Thoughts on the WC below ? X

3.5m itb for son > Salah whenever

    Flekken // Areola
Cash Chilwell Udogie // Estu Kabore
    Saka Bruno Son Maddison Mbeumo
    Haaland Morris // Archer

Well, it is not going to be a -4. If you asked me who I wanted between Rashford and Mbeumo irrespective of the fixture then I would still go Mbeumo.

Both are talismans, especially with Rashford back on the wing

Mbeumo has pens and set pieces, so that's always a plus for him until Toney returns

Rashford faces two open defences (Brighton is surprisingly open) and the relatively tight Palace

Mbeumo faces one leaky defence (hi Pickford), one of the statistical best in the league (Newcastle) and a surprisingly tight but breachable Forest

      So yeah, that's tight

I see in the replies above that you have Rashford. I'd just keep him, tbh. Maybe sell for a second Spurs mid in GW8

Full team and funds ITB? There's probably a better use of a FT somewhere else...

Does anyone know why are so many people WCing? The big fixture turns are happening in GW 8 and 9 and the only big injury/dropped concerns seems to be TAA, Ferguson and Johnstone/Turner 'possibly' losing their spots in the future.

With Spurs are about to go into Arsenal and Liverpool, Newcastle are subject to alot of CL rotation with the group of death and Chelsea is playing like crap I don't see much point in anything other than a Son transfer/C play for this week.

I think Son will get plenty of chances on the break against LIV, and Arsenal not been the most sound defensively either.

So yeh, I wouldn't target TOT defenders right now perhaps, but attackers yes.

Chelsea are playing good, they just didn't score in one game bec they missed loads of huge chances
Newcastle playing one UCL game at home wont affect their next 3 VERY EASY fixtures
