    Never realised teams travel the day before. How far away does the game need to be for a team to do that?
    It's only a 2h drive, so why don't they travel at 8 the same day, Arsenal for example. They'd still have 5 hours left until the game which is plenty.

      Its just more organised. They all have dinner together and go to bed early etc. No one will be late. Its removing the possibility of little things happening at the last minute.

      Things like diet is important also, they can feed them exactly what they need.
