So…I bought Alvarez in GW 6 when his price was 6.9. His value now stands at 7.1. I was planning to possibly shift him out next week, but his sell value is still 6.9. Shouldn’t it be 7.00?

    Play either
    1) Diaby v WHM
    or
    2) Bowen vs avl

Currently on 1 but already playing Watkins so unsure

Cant play both as other players are must play: Son Maddison Watkins Salah Hojlund. SO choose Bowen over Diaby?

Yes, Bowen over Diaby imo. Villa's highline should given enough space to Bowen on counters.

          Playing 4 at back?

I think that a City attacker has to be the obvious captaincy candidate due to Brighton’s woeful defence. I’ve had the armband slapped on Haaland all week but I’m finding myself toying with the idea of taking a big risk and switching it to Julian Alvarez. Anyone else toying with the idea of captaining Alvarez over Haaland?

    1. M2.0
      • 5 Years

Alvarez has better premier league form, has looked much more composed in front of goal than Haaland recently and the hight of Brighton’s defenders should make it somewhat more difficult for Haaland to score headers (where a good proportion of his goals come from). I guess that that the argument goes that if Haaland hauls then i’m toast due to EO but i could also see a huge rank boost if it goes well. The other factor on my mind is that Alvarez played in Uruguay midweek and might be a bit tired, hmmm i’m 50:50.

Yeah it’s the minutes risk that would worry me. I don’t have Haaland so I’m looking else where too, Salah is the early kick off and Sons minutes are also a risk. Currently on Son

I can't remember the last header that Haaland scored.
The point gap in games between them seems close so far, the Fulham drubbing Haaland got 20, Alvarez 14.

The west ham was Haa 6 and Alv 9.
The Newcastle and Wolves games, Alv got one goal in both and Haa blanked in both.
So IF it goes like that you're getting an extra 6 or 7 points in one game.
As far as edges go, it could be worth it against the risk of minutes from South America, but..
Don't forget Salah. If he scores twice he'll outscore them both.

After watching Aguero get 1-2 pointers after an international break for years, I’ve been permanently scarred when it comes to captaining a South American back from international duty.

It's very strong. After this week I'd switch out Fernandes since Man Utd aren't playing well, and Martinelli or Diaby could give you more points. It's worth keeping Fernandes for this week given he faces a weak Sheffield United team.

[Repost for those who may not of seen]

Good morning. Earlier in the season I spoke about an FPL notification app which sends live notifications of goals, assists, cards, subs etc for your FPL players rather than having to get all notifications for a match. There wasn't one so I created it

You can read about it here:
    https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/s/UNnR7Dk495

    Or here: https://www.flashfpl.com

It's free to use and no sign up required. Just download it from either app store.

I won't see any responses here so if you have any questions or feedback, comment on Reddit, direct to @flashfplapp on twitter or email, you can find that on the website in the footer.

It's had 227 downloads already which is surreal to me as it was just a small idea originally built for myself to solve an annoying problem. If you'd find it useful why not download it?

If you wish to stay in the loop about app updates and features follow @flashfplapp on twitter. Cheers

This sounds good but the 3 I would like to move to; especially Arsenal Assets were all bought at .6 cheaper than today. Alvarez, Maddi and Son will lose .9 and concerned about wanting them back sometime.

Digne is risky. Moreno back soon?
Don't like the idea of having soucek as a regular starter

    Flekken
    Trippier Cash Udogie Botman*
    Salah Son Maddison Mbeumo
    Haaland(c) Alvarez

    Areola Archer Estupinan Chukwuemeka
    1ft 0.1m

Only one real doubt in Botman

    A) Estupinan to Tsimikas (bench botman)
    B) roll (knowing archer will probably play)

Plan is to get Saka and Watkins next week but will require a hit regardless (a move like A is required to free cash)

Feels like A) is a no brainer given your plans next week.

I know Baldock is injured but is he normally a regular starter?

My TV is shocking and if he drops to 3.8M, I might need him on a WC.

1 week punt for Saka to:

    1. Odegaard
    2. Rashford

Ruled out Foden and Jota due to rotation risk.
