    Leno Areola
    Saliba Zinch Porro Taylor Baldock
    Salah Son Buemo Saka Hwang
    Haaland Alvarez Archer

Best move here with 1 FT, 0.8 ITB

    A Hwang to Gordon
    B Hwang to Palmer
C Baldock to 4.5 defender (4-4-2 this week), keep Hwang for gw 15 and 16
D Save FT, start Archer ahead of Hwang
    E Other

I will think about option C and transfer Lascelles, Ait Nouri or Colwill instead of Baldock.

More solid and controlling games this season rather than last season's aggressive football which wasn't sustainable. Arsenal's dominance this season is here to stay.

I wonder about transfer out Bowen but I wonder if should I bring Gordon first or Sterling/Palmer ? Also plan in GW 15 out Cash and transfer in someone from Chelsea defense, but at now I don't know who should I take. (Disasi, Badiashile, Cucurella or Thiago Silva)

    Areola (turner)
Myko trips tsim ( kaboure, digne)
    Son salah bowen soucek mbeumo
    Haaland Watkins (semenyo)

    0.4 itb. 1ft.
Was always planning to do soucek to palmer this week but with soucek getting a couple returns on the bounce I dunno if it is wise now?

You must have great team value to have Trippier in as well as Salah and Haaland. I have a similar team (no Trippier though) and I am not getting rid of Bowen - they have 5 relatively easy matches coming up. You could see how he does for the next 2GWs and then think about bringing him in for Chelsea's turn in fixtures if Soucek doesn't look up to it.

Very easy to afford those two with two cheap defenders, my team below is doing great though.

        Trippier Gabriel Udogie

Not going with Gordon over Palmer on WC last week has hurt. As has sticking with James (despite advice on here to stay clear - thanks / should have listened!)

    A) James -> 5.3m Def (maybe Porro?)

    B) James & Palmer -> Gordon & 4.7m (not sure who!) [-4]

Decided not to bring in Saliba for Cash this week and wait until next week. Despite Bowen not playing, I am pretty pleased with my week so far and have jumped up quite a few places. My plan was to sell Cash for Saliba, Watkins for Darwin and then Turner for Sanchez in time for their nice. After Chelsea got battered today, is this still a good plan? I didn't watch the match.

    1. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 11 days ago

There aren't many clean sheets flying about anyway, so I'm fine with getting the cheap keeper with the best fixtures. I'll also go Turner to Sanchez in GW15 and rotate him with Areola

The "best long-term GK" changes every two/three GWs now, and that's pretty tiring. Maybe that's Alisson and Pope, but I won't pay that much

      1. The Big Fella
        • 9 Years
        2 years, 11 days ago

Yeah I am in the same boat as you re. Allisson and Pope. I am wondering if Darwin is worth it for Watkins who has been steady most of the season as that is how I am going to finance the move.

        1. Ze_Austin
          • 7 Years
          2 years, 11 days ago

I wouldn't drop Watkins while fit, especially going into rotation/flag season

It might even be a reason to keep starting Areola if there's no other route to the Sanchez funds

That said, those are some great fixtures lined up for Darwin. I understand the temptation

Let's see how Watkins does vs Spurs and then maybe something else might stand out

Hi this my first year playing. Curious as to other’s experience with the projected line up’s on this site. Two weeks in a row now I have been burned quite badly. Not complaining about the owners of the site but is it your experience that this information should be used with caution?

    1. notlob legin
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

In my experience the predicted line ups on here are the best. There will always be mistakes but overall Neale and the team are better than any other sites

    2. Shultan
      • 9 Years
      2 years, 11 days ago

Yes they're predicted line ups based on guesswork & press conferences whereamagers often hide info & sometimes flat out lie (like areteta or howe) don't use them to make transfer/key decisions

    3. Ze_Austin
      • 7 Years
      2 years, 11 days ago

Summary: they are predictions, not prophesies. Long version below

They are predictions based on the available data

Coaches and clubs aren't very reliable with said available data, these days

So the prediction could be based on what the coach said in a press conference, but then the same coach may have hidden or been dishonest about a player's injury... Then the player would be predicted to start but end up benched or out of the squad

Or, alternatively, a late fitness test can rule a player in/out but that fitness test happened after the press conference; so all we had to go on was the chance/"doubt" that was announced

      • 7 Years

Got Gordon & Lascelles laughing with 20 points on my bench!!

All info has to be used with caution as managers either are reluctant or out and out lie in press conferences ; and that’s what we have to go on here or anywhere.

A doctor's opinion here: a long-term knee injury is pretty clear when it's assessed, especially if any of the collateral ligaments (MCL or ACL) has been affected. What was rumored here was fluid in the knee, which is effusion. It's not a useful rumor for guessing the time scale because the causes are wide-ranging: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/swollen-knee/symptoms-causes/syc-20378129

In other words, knee effusion is more of a sign than a diagnosis, so we don't have a prognosis based on that

So we'll need more info or an official diagnosis to know when Bowen will be back. If they already knew the cause and ran a late fitness test today to know if the swelling had reduced enough for him to start, then that does indeed point to a minor condition (possibly irritation) being the cause

It's a game that is free to play with a likelihood of winning akin to that of winning a london wide lottery. If you do win you win next to bugger all.

I don't spend more than 20 mins on this game of chance these days. It used to take up hours a eek but it's futile.

Game is stale and needs a rival with ultimately bigger prizes.

I don't see what makes Man U a bad fixture for Newcastle defenders at home in both teams' current states, so it's a nope for me. I'd start Livra

Neither Burnley nor Sheffield will sit back when they face each other, as this is a relegation 6-pointer, so I don't expect clean sheets for either
