also Martinez and Dubravka rotate well in the hear term.

you could play Dubravka 17 and 19.

not looked to far but both seem to be alternating home and away and both sides are much stronger at home.

that's my combo at the moment but I might be a bit biased having held Martinez since gw1.

No because having the ability to sell Salah and Son immediately could be worth 30-50 points.

That's a good rotation, I'm just not sure there is much point rotating. I find home games are no better on average for points than away games - the slightly higher home CS odds are balanced out by teams being more defensive away, inviting more saveable long shots etc.

This rotation is based on roughly half home half away. Totally agree. I will have a look at Martinez and Dubravka in detail though with the aim of choosing the best anyway.

    Areola*, Kelleher^
    Trippier**, Gabriel, Tsimikas, Lascelles, Gusto*
    Salah, Saka, Bowen, Gordon, Palmer
    Haaland*, Watkins, Semenyo

    2FTs, 1.8M ITB.

    A) Bowen & Haaland > Son & Alvarez (free)
    B) Any defender & Bowen > Defender value minus 0.1M & Son (eg Gusto > 4.0M def)
    C) Gusto, Bowen & Haaland > Porro, Son & Alvarez (-4)
    D) Other?

perhaps C but you're only getting Alvarez for Palace then the blank.

I'd wait anyhow with European games.

Doesn't seem to be much wildcard momentum so prices might be stable enough until Thursday night?

I feel like B is probably best. To have a team of Trippier, Salah, Son, Saka, Haaland, Watkins seems ideal to me, it's just what fodder do I get?

    Dubravka
    TAA - Porro - Tsimikas
    Salah(C) - Son - Saka - Hwang - Palmer
    Watkins - Semenyo

that's fine tho because after Christmas/ New Year you have the Salah and Son cash to use.

Trippier/Braithwaite and Taylor all suspended for me plus mayb Haaland out.

Leaves me with 10 players nxt wk end with Archer ffs.

Want to do Darwin ➡️ Watkins with my ft.

Stick to the plan and ride it out with 10 nxt wk?

If ETH is stupid enough to play similar system to what he has been playing, with two 8s pushing up and one 6 staying back. Salah, Darwin and Diaz/Jota will have a field day. Cause MU players leave a wholes stadium open in midfield and ahead of defence.

Will be interesting now with Bruno out.
That midfield looks bad, Bruno is covering the cracks, both Amrabat and MCT will be run over by Liverpool's midfield. He might go two six, Maino and Amra to try and keep it tight.

Morning all, essay incoming. Considering WC but unsure. Plan was to hold until GW20 but I may need it now, but unsure if I'll get the full value out of it. (The below is after doing Nunez + Doku to Watkins + Doucoure for -4, I've had a laissez-faire attitude of late with early moves, but had the last straw with Nunez and Doku confirmed out so I didn't mind doing it early).

    Neto
    Porro Kabore Gabriel
    Salah Saka Son Kudus Doucoure
    Watkins Haaland*
    (Turner Osula Branthwaite* Digne*)

Realistically if I WC'd (which I'd only do if Haaland is out), it'd be Turner Gabriel Kabore Digne Haaland Osula ➡️ Leno Livramento Moreno TAA Jimenez Solanke. I can only see a "need" for two of those this week (Kabore and injured Haaland to TAA and Solanke), the others are moves for down the line (or one week punt with Moreno, I don't mind playing Gabriel this week).

Doesn't look too bad, relatively speaking. I'm not sure about buying Moreno right now; think that place is, if not Digne's to lose, at least pretty up in the air right now. Not convinced yet that we'll see Moreno just starting regularly from now on

It's another useful article, 4 bookings probably only influencers who you are bringing in.

However, chuck some mid week injuries into the mix and we could have the perfect storm and hits central taking place ...

  11. Ask Yourself

Who is the best Fulham midfielder then?

    A) Willian - Seems a minutes risk but when he plays he is very involved. Could be injured

    B) Wilson - has been a minutes risk so far but very impactful when he plays. If willian is out for a period he looks like he could be the one

    C) Iwobi - seems solid for 70/80 minutes a game as he can play on the left and right wing and isn’t getting rotated so far and looks like a decent goal threat

    D) Andreas - Nailed and on set pieces. Not a massive goal threat but looks good for creativity

    1. Nate(U)dog(ie)
      • 5 Years
      2 years, 1 day ago

Willian I think has to be ahead of the rest, he's pretty selfish sometimes (a good trait for FPL) and on penalties, but sounds like he had a hammy issue which could mean he's out for a bit. If he is then I've always liked Wilson and have done well with him with punts in the past

If Darwin gets a rest during mid week europa he is maybe a hold for now! just maybe!

If he starts he is worth a hit to get rid of!

Our boy Goal Palmer got booked for simulation this gw and got his 4th yellow, he is gonna get hiis 5th in 17 and miss out 18 when we really need players isn't he?

Palmer and Udogie being on 4 yellows is what's making me nervous about taking a hit this week.

Unlikely DGW20 for City and Brentford, Mbeumo injured and potentially Haaland as well, navigating BGW18 shouldn't be difficult

Objective this season is not to take hit. Seems to work.
So hopefully haaland is fit. Pedro to jimmy for free?

I've avoided hits too but luckily I saved my wildcard for a rainy day.

I think hits into gw17 and around 18 might be inevitable.

Especially if 1 or 2 key players gets injured this week.

Are there many European games on?

Last Man Standing GW16 (660 teams)

    Safety score = 39
    Top score = 79

55 teams to be removed, 605 teams through to GW17
Congrats to all the survivors! 🙂

Fair enough. Tough one but I think would lean towards Porro over Tsimikas. Interesting to see Liverpool have higher CS % but not by much 36% vs 33%. Prefer Porro open play threat

I would bench Zinchenko. BHA still scored in every game this season. If you're keeping Haaland start him, although I don't expect him to play. Possibility Wilson starts over Isak too

Cheers yes I thought isak could be benched and haaland won't play ! Ideally like to sell one

Hi chaps - I'll wait until closer to the deadline but what do you think?

    A) Haaland to Solanke
    B) Haaland + Anderson to Solanke and Son (-4)
    C) Roll, hope Haaland is fit and go without Son (Scary)

With limited info.pretty tough to say..but either way would prioritise getting Son

there's another option and leave him out till you swap him for Salah seems perfectly reasonable.

so wildcard now to maximise your squad in the December busy period.

...then lose Som and Salah for January etc and wildcard 2 to get them back in mid Feb is also an option.

    E) WC

    Dubravka
    Porro Tsimikas Tarkowski
    Salah Son Gordon Palmer Soucek
    Watkins Alvarez
    (Turner Haaland Trippier Baldock)

Is it known when the City-Brentford match will be?
If it's soon, might want to bench rather than sell for GW18.

Both ideally. I have Trent and Udogi and would much rather he was Porro

Trent if you have money to spare, otherwise Porro if you need the money elsewhere
