Will Burnley have a presser today so that we can find out the status on Taylor?

They will! Still waiting on Sky posting the times, they are often slow to do so on a Thursday. There'll definitely be at least Burnley and Luton today, though.

Would be awesome. Have Cash and Taylor needing to at least walk on the pitch!

Haha, Im also going Archer as well. He might surprise us!

Scored well recently and WestHam possibly without Bowen might not be as freightening.

Palmer 18 pts last gw & rose only once since then, compared to the likes of Son, Kdb(rose without kicking a ball) , Solanke, Utd players, Saka, Trent, Alvarez etc. just how rigged is the price system 🙁

    1. PartyTime

Also I know for sure whoever is in charge didn’t have Palmer last gw so I understand it hurts…

It really is a farce. Makes the game feel disingenuous.
Haaland down about 40% and only 1 drop. Meanwhile my red flagged Anderson drops from 4.5 to 4.2 .

    3. I Member

Palmer was price locked for 3 days after going from red flagged to available.

        • 4 Years

It is a rigged game. When a player bags 18 pts, the color of flag shouldn’t affect the price change. If it was Kdb or a player from Utd, I bet he would rise in price.

You know Kdb rose even without kicking a ball? 😆

I know what you will say this time.

On wildcard. Doubt Håland will start against Newcastle but does it make sense to have him to save ft down the line?

Obviously got bench to cover his absence.

      • 15 Years

I would leave him out but have a plan/funds to get him in.
If he doesnt come on for Newcastle game, you are less likely to get him in the following week as well.

Thanks Heiro. Was just thinking of being ahead of the curve and have a deep bench until he is fit.

No wildcard left so every ft is valuable as we don’t know how the dgws and bgws will pan out

You’ll get a biased reply from people here. Think it comes down to you depending on how you want to play the game since you’re on wc.

Keeping him on the bench or avoiding until later could both work imo but if you won’t have/ start/ captain Erling this gw just know his EO would be huge next gw.

Btw. Was thinking something like this. 2.8 itb

        Areola (Dubra)
        Porro-Gabriel-Estu (Gusto, Trippier)
        Saka-Palmer-Foden-Rich-Gross
        Toney-Håland (Watkins)

Looks solid. I personally wouldn’t have Erling until next gw because I don’t think he starts but no one knows except Pep. I’m keeping Solanke over Toney but can see both getting a goal this gw.

I'm on a WC too and I have him in my team, I think he features at the weekend but doesn't start so it's just a transfer you're going to have to make in a week or so, I've got him on mine.

Also on a WC and I will transfer him in once he has played part of a game . As the point with WC is to get a head of the curve and I suspect a lot of points from the forwards over this GWK .
Also who are you leaving out for Haaland seating on the bench ? Compared who you have covering in midfield which will probably bring you a headache when deciding who to put on the bench in a few weeks.

Salah and Son to Foden/Richarlison and Garnacho?. Leaves money for Alvarez to Haaland. Garnacho likely in for Bowen but first sub

Bowen to Gross (2nd hit) to avoid starting Trippier vs MCI? I am starting injury doubts Zinchenko and Solanke. Also, no Haaland on the team, but enough money to get him with one transfer.

Na, just start trips, not worth a hit and Bowen could be back before to long

Trips could easily get a jammy assist or free kick and score 5-6 in a losing cause and I don’t think the fixture is as bad as people make out

Bowen out. He's missing the next one which is SHU. And with Paqueta out, Kudus out, it means, as we saw vs Brighton, Moyes changes approach. It's Soucejk time, which means Moyes will play with much more defensive style, and attacking style would be more directed towards Soucejk coming into the box. That play doesn't suit Bowen in terne of FPL.

        Yeah

Unfortunately last time I went Son to Bowen for the longer term, rather than Foden and to not burn a transfer but that didn't work out.

The Haaland experience was it's best to have funds on the pitch so Salah is an easy sell.

Had rich for the last 4 game weeks but yea agree long term he might need moving on but if he stays in form he’s good

Probably less money tied up in him and Salah has a possible DGW on the horizon.

GTG given I'm already on -4? Figure I have enough bench cover

    Areola
    Gabriel - Zinc - Porro - Colwill
    Saka - Richardson - Bowen - Palmer
    Alvarez - Watkins

    Dubravka - Gordon - Archer - TAA

How do these moves look for -4?

    Salah + Son + Bowen -> Foden + Richy + Gross

Leaves enough itb to do Alvarez -> Haaland next GW.

Guys wonder why so much gross love? Is he so much advanced? Not on pens either. Garnacho better? I know utd been poor. But if you could get haaaland taa salah in 26 with garnacho. You can go for him right? Would be 8 fst attackers with a slight benching headache..

Gross has stats, form and fixtures but Garnacho ain’t bad option either

United don't score enough. I wouldn't feel comfortable with Garnacho on my field

    2. bench boost for every gamew…

Brighton fixtures, he's stats are good, and eye test says he's involved a lot, more advanced positions, as a ten almost.
He's also a player that if he gets an assist m, he's very likely in the bonus,as he racks up bps because of his playing style.
Not on pens while Pedro is on the pitch, could be if not. I hope not. He's awful at pens.

aside from the piles of money players have earned really does sound like saudi pro league is a complete joke. 600 plus max attendance and many of the big marquee signings just dont seem motivated. i think it bodes well for pool keeping salah.

It has nothing to do with football. Pure politics and getting more global leverage.

Best option to bring in ??

    A) Richarlison - Man Utd, Brentford, Everton
    B) Gross - Wolves, Luton, Crystal Palace

    Hi all.

Made the mistake of the Salah --> Bowen move. Mainly because of funds for my other moves . It is what it is and I knew the risks

A Anyway . I could sell Bowen to bring in Foden for a - 4 but would need another hit for Haaland next gw

B Bowen --> Gross - 4, leaving me with enough for Alvarez to Haaland

C Keep Bowen, play Charlie Taylor and take a hit next week for Haaland

    Cheers all

A- seems pointless with the return of KDB + potential Haaland
B- Is looking like the best option as it's only one hit that alllows Haaland
C- Is 50/50 with Charlie Taylor if you wanna risk it

      I'd probably consider B mate

Where has this 2-3 week timescale for Bowen come from?
I don't like to be influenced by money invested in a player, but on this ocassion I would lose 0.5mil in selling him and might want him back again very soon.

He could miss only one PL game. That decides it for me, I am keeping.

    TAA and Son to?

    A) Doughty and Foden
    B) Estupinan and Gross

Both moves give me enough ITB to get Haaland in for Archer next week

    Areola
    Porro TAA* Gabriel Colwill
    Son* Palmer Saka Gordon
    Solanke Watkins

    Dubravka Archer Lascelles Salah*

Long term what is a better combo?

    (A) KDB/Son and 5m defender

    (C) Foden and Trippier

Basically, is the risks of Foden worth it for owning Trippier?

    Just not sure.

    Thanks.

      That being said, could be:

    Porro, Gabriel, Estupinan
    Son**, Bowen**, Saka, Richarlison
    Watkins, Solanke, Nkunku

    A) Son --- Foden

    B) Son + Bowen (-4) --- Foden + Gross/Jota

    C) Son + Nkunku (-4) --- Foden + Darwin
