I probably need to take a hit here right?

    Areola
    Porro saliba Taylor
    Groß saka palmer foden
    Watkins solanke archer

    Dubravka salah TAA branthwaite

So do TAA to Estupinan Or salah to Richarlison? Either way it'll be for a hit

Is branthwaite fit ? If he is then I won't be taking a hit.

I think hes fine so yeah no need for a hit just sit tight and wait for info before selling one of the liverpool players for haaland next week

if u sell TAA for estu does that give u enough funds to get Haaland next week in one move ?

Guys need some help here. 2ft.5.3m itb.

    Areola
    porro konsa gabriel taylor* taa*
    Salah* son* palmer saka gordon
    Archer watkins solanke

A)son to rich and save one ft and start archer. More information on taa so that I can decide who to sell salah or taa to get haaland.

B)son salah to garnacho foden free. Will allow me to have haaland and salah and Foden and taa without a hit when I reach 25 if it's a double for pool and city.

    1. ZimZalabim
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 10 months ago

      B seems better long term

Im looking at something like A though and keeping Salah on the bench, would sell TAA this week tho and have funds to get Haaland for free next week and look to get Taa back in before the double

      1. The Final Boss
        • 8 Years

Hmm.. Saw something fpl flapjack shared related to taa that he is expected back against chel. So its oly a one game. For B I can bring richy instead of foden but seems not worth an extra transfer.

        1. ZimZalabim
          • 9 Years
          1 year, 10 months ago

hmm thats probably based on the 3 week timeline that was given pre the cup semifinal, but I dont think we can say that for sure, ideally I would like to hold both salah and taa this week for news and delay the decision till next gameweek.

you are in a better position than me as you have Konsa over my Lascelles so its easier to do A and wait, and then still get Haaland in next week for free

I need to use my 2fts this week to get 11 out and then if I hold Taa and salah I have to take a hit next week for Haaland, but it might be worth it if we can get news on Trent.

The other question is if Haaland plays tomorrow then how much will he rise in price before we reach gw22.

    Raya
    Gabriel, Porro Gusto
    Palmer Saka Garnacho Foden
    Watkins Alvarez Solanke
    Subs Turner Guehi TAA Bowen
No free transfers 9 mill in bank
Should I do anything? Gusto might be out, and Guehi available as a sub. Can review situation after the '"winter break" -Haaland paying time etc.

For next 3-4 gw (waiting for TAA return)

    A. Doughty + Guehi (rotation)
    B. Gusto + Guehi (rotation)
    C. spend more on estu... but will lose team balance

I went with Doughty, but that’s an intentional punt + I wanted the flexibility of the extra cash. Estu will almost certainly get more points, only question is whether the price difference ends up being important when trying to fit all the heavy fitters back in your team

2ft used, any extra move will be a hit. What should I do now?
    2.4itb

    Areola
    Konsa Estu Robinson Taylor*
    Bowen* Palmer Saka
    Solanke Watkins Pedro

    Dubravka TAA Salah Son

    A) Hold and hope Taylor and Bowen plays
    B) Son to Douglas Luiz
    C) Son to Garnacho

Two moves needed to get Haaland by next GW anyway, so the hit would be taken either this week or the next one unless Haaland is unavailable again (lol).

I ended up keeping Haaland. If he doesn't play this week, then my only fit/available bench player is Archer (who was dropped last week for Osula, and now has Brereton Diaz for competition).

    A. Play Archer.

Needing some advice from the brains trust here.
    The landscape:
Have already done Bowen --> Gross after the early news
Gusto is my 11th man with no bench (have Salah, Trent, Senesi) with a plan to hold Salah until GW22 and see what Egypt have done

I have owned Salah from the start and don't want to sell. I have just had Trent in on a WC...

    So the question:
    1. Is selling Gusto for Doughty madness for a -4?
    2. Should I sell Trent for the same cost and know I am getting a playing guy, with a double and some nice fixtures coming? *an LCL injury seems to be a minimum of 3 weeks.

I think we are just as likely to see Salah back in GW24 as we are Trent to be honest. And I want the fit guy!

Not sure why majority of ”experts” and content creators are against using wildcard this gw. To me it looks like excellent opportunity to get ahead of the curve.

Everyone else are taking hits and forced to play their fodders against top teams.

When planning correctly wildcarders are ahead of the curve by bringing the likes of Toney and Håland in aswell as keeping Trent and field strong team this gw.

      1. S.Kuqi
        • 13 Years
        1 year, 10 months ago

True and probably need to take hits. In my opinion wildcard is best use in major fixture swings and when majority doesn’t.

Its the mist valuable chip but plp are too scared to used it without approval from the ”experts”

        1. The Red Devil
          • 10 Years
          1 year, 10 months ago

its not about approval, its that mostly 2nd WC is linked to BB, that's how i've generally done it, around the big DGW to ensure a decent BB, also for WC i personally think do it only if team needs it, so if one is reaching -12 stage, then probably better to do a WC. Do it if your team desperately needs it, not to prove content creators wrong

          1. S.Kuqi
            • 13 Years
            1 year, 10 months ago

Big fan of wc+bb strategy and usually it is the correct strategy to play it like that but according to Crellin biggest dgw should be gw37 which dents the effect of wc when playing it so late

            1. The Red Devil
              • 10 Years
              1 year, 10 months ago

it could, but then again if your team can reach around GW 34-35 without needing a WC, then so be it, i think WC & FH are the best chips, a FH in 38 is always very tasty for example. We should play our own game, for example most content creators are keeping TAA & selling salah & getting richarlison, but i'm selling TAA & got in gross & probably buying estupinan, good fixtures always breeds form

I think content creators are 'custodians of the template' . I think the bestt ones are very considerate nd discuss the feasibility of things very broadly and don't assume too much but I just listened to Harry and Sonaldo and Sonaldo makes a lot of assumptions about FTs, chips, who we have in our teams.

BUT having said that, the main reason for not WC this week is how long the GW is and how much valuable information you will get before 22.

I think it's more things will be much, much clearer ahead of GW22 (league cup final known, FA cup round 4 done and round 5 draw complete, transfer window basically done, dgw potentially announced ahead of gw25)

Depends how well you play your WC no matter when you play it. Probably better returns for a WC closer to DGW and more players available after injury, AFCON and Asian Cup. A lot of players look a good prospect not based on form but because there's playing time available because of AFCON and Asian Cup. Not playing WC and keeping hits to a minimum is another way.

Some good points here, both for and against.

I usually use my WC around DGW with the bench boost after. Its very powerful since you can take chances and swap out poor DGW for good ones. The swing can be very big in those situations.

The other reason to wait is that there are no must bring in players this GW that most people dont own. The upside can be Brighton players, maybe change your keeper and improve your defence. Ship out fodders, yes, but you actually might need the same fooders in a few weeks time to free up founds. You also might get back Bowen and Trent sooner then you think.

Im curently at 2.5 mil and its not a ideal position. Not sure what to do.

read my comments above. I am not sure about holding Trent. even grade 1 LCL strains are 3-6 week injuries and 'we will see' doesn't fill me with confidence. I think Trent to Alfie is probably what I will do and hope for him to pop off.

yeah, in a similar boat, anything can happen with injuries, coz atleast with Salah you know he'll be back in few weeks & most likely be captained in GW25, i'm probably going pervis, you like alfie more than him or is it due to 0.5 savings?

    Areola
    Porro, Gabreil, Trippier
    Salah, Saka, Palmer, Gordon
    Watkins, Solanke, Archer

    Dubravka, TAA, Son, Branthwaite, Archer

    2FT, 2.5m ITB

    A) Salah to Foden, then Trippier and Archer to Haaland and up to 4.6m D next GW (keep Son how I've got TV tired up in)

    B) Salah & Son to Foden & Gross and bench Gordon (leaving MITB for Archer to Haaland next GW)

Worth benching TAA Salah and going Son Lamptey to Foden Estu for free?
Just means I have to take a hit next week to get Haaland - get rid of Alvarez and sacrifice one of Salah/TAA/Watkins/Saka.

Anything worth a hit here? 0ft 10.2 itb

    Raya
    Porro, White, Moreno
    Saka, Bowen*, Richarlison, Gross, Palmer
    Watkins, Solanke

    Areola, Taylor*, Archer, Trent

    0ft 10.2m itb

If we fit news Haaland could feature if get him in a week early. Not gone in the Foden love, rotation risk again next gw. Archer to Toney / Pedro could be a fun punt -4 but would have to sell one of my strikers next gw for Haaland.

    Thank you

So Salah rises .6 with 2M purchases yet drops .1 with 2M sales & they say this game is not rigged?

Also please don’t use the WC excuse as again we all know the active users in the game are probably 20% or less.

Haaland most capped player yet again last week & he’s been out for weeks!

      Not rigged

should drop random points to random players for fun.

    Areola
    Porro Saliba Taylor
    Son Gordon Saka Palmer
    Watkins Solanke Alvarez

    Dubravka Salah TAA Lamptey

    2FT, 2.2itb

Son >> Foden / Richarlison, then:

    1. Save 1FT (hope Taylor plays)
    2. Taylor >> Estupinian / Gabriel

    Thanks

Yet to decide on this but gut feeling is that Gabriel would be the one to score next, could even be against Crystal Palace.

I am on wc, dare I say Raheem Sterling would be in my team. Good fixture. I prefer him over the likes of Richarlison & Groß.

Thankfully, Content Creators/ Pro Pundits/ Elite managers are sleeping on him. Massive Opportunity, double up with Palmer, should help eliminate the ranks above mine.

Just need to decide if I should captain Palmer or not but it reduces the damage if I don’t captain Palmer since Raz could also be involved. Huge differential!

Agreed but just can’t trust them. Nkunku out is huge blow for them, he made their attack click.

Thanks. I think it is not clear how Spurs will perform too & Groß is ffs pick.

Joao Pedro could be the pick instead of Gross
