Good one mate, thanks for the article!
    Any thoughts from the crowd?

    1) TAA Palmer to Ake (or basically any other) Jota

    2) TAA Palmer to 4.2def (Bradley/Lamptey/Maguire?) KDB

    3) if TAA fit, could be Porro Palmer to 4.6 def (Reguilon/Ait Nouri?) Diaz

How's the rest of the team looking and what are your medium-term plans? The answer will depend on whether you're deadending to GW29, when you're Free Hitting/Wildcarding etc.

In isolation, for GW25 only, I obviously like the first one but then medium term you have two rotation risks, both of whom likely blank in GW29 (and Jota does for sure in GW26).

I really need some GW26 players with TAA/Porro/Darwin/Richa/Palmer currently in my team. Ideally would hit the WC after GW29 and save FH for later as well. I probably would be fine with keeping Pool mid until GW29 while selling Darwin. On the other hand, KDB will have one more fixture and can have more upside himself over Jota than having Ake over let's say Maguire as well. Ideally would like to have both KDB and Jota but it will obviously won't happen as I don't want to lose Richa, Saka or Foden.

Do you ever do a transfer and just instantly think wtf yes that was me last gw with Guehi to Gvardiol for a -4, I actually thought this guy is due an assist/goal and he has a double in 25 and game in 26 and will repay the hit... at least had Gabriel sub in for him. Now confused what to do with 1 ft. Hope TAA plays and save or get rid of Gvardiol and for who with only 4.9 m.

    Dubravka
    TAA * Porro Gabriel
    Saka Gordon Jota Bowen
    Haaland Darwin Watkins

Areola Palmer Taylor * Gvardiol *

Not as far as I'm aware. Usually, the only chance of Wednesday press conferences is if there is a Friday night game, and even then it's not that often.

No other PL teams in European action this week, either, so no UCL/UEL pressers.

Jota's XG/90 is worse than Gabriel's in the last 4 games - and that includes the Bournemouth haul. I feel I've fallen into a trap with him.

I wanted to BB this week but TAA & Bernardo injuries have really messed up the plan.

    New team:

    Raya (Dubravka)
    Estupinan Ake Moreno (Gusto* Porro)
    Jota Saka Foden Son (Palmer*)
    Haaland Toney Watkins

Would you take one or two hits to play the Bench Boost?

    A. 1 hit, Gusto to Reguilon
    B. 2 hits, Gusto, Palmer to Reguilon, Barkley
    C. No hits, play TC on Haaland

Brilliant article and an interesting adjunct.

Unless Haaland is scheduled for rest against Brentford you'd expected the club to have him on the bench at least, but Pep has won enough to realise they life and death are more important than football.

    Any suggestions please?

    Bank: £0.1 / FT: 1

    Dubravka (Areola)

Walker, Trippier, Pedro Porro (Gabriel, Taylor)

Saka, Richarlison, Jota, De Bruyne (Palmer)

    Watkins, Haaland (C), Darwin (VC)

Want Foden and also to protect rank so I'm thinking:

Richarlison & Walker > Foden Doughty (exact money, saves a transfer down the line)

    Richarlison & Walker > Foden & Bradley

Assuming Trent doesn't start against Brentford, a GK hit this GW is interesting. I think there might be enough potential gains for Allison/Kaminski to make it work.

    25:
    - Dubravka & TAA to Alisson/Kaminski & Ake (-4)

    26:
    - Sell Jota/Darwin (-4)
    - Keep Porro/Palmer/Rich

    TC25 on Haaland.

    1FT 0.7ITB

    TAA* Gabriel Saliba
    Saka Jota Rich Foden

Possibly. He's a very fit lad and was pencilled to have his third start in a week vs Arsenal some week ago. But I'm not 100% with Cup final and all that, I think maybe her gets 60+ vs Luton, which could be below if the game is wrapped up. I would chance it if it doesn't ruin your team for 26 (additional hit)

As a Saka seller last week I may well take a hit to put that mistake right

Mad how keeping a player can backfire, sold Lamptey few weeks ago while keeping TAA, rest is history…will now always start with the injured ones

    If I FH GW25 I could have 10 (including Semenyo) for GW26 for a -4
With 10(ish - assuming WOL v BOU goes ahead) for BGW29 and could then WC30, BB31

Would mean TC Solanke in GW26 though...
Also saved 2FTs for this week and would now feel like a waste...

      FH25 would look like;

      Becker²
      Doughty², Burn, VdV
      Salah², KDB² Foden², Saka, Gordon
      Haaland², Darwin²

      Forster, Mubama, Baldock, Al-Dakhil

If Salah not confirmed could easily downgrade to Jota, upgrade Burn to Trippier and VdV to Porro & have 1.3M in bank to upgrade bench if required.
