I think there's something going on between DeZerbi and Estu rather than Estu simply losing his place.

The fact that he didn't come on to replace Lamptey at half-time is quite telling, and suggests it's more than a simple loss of form.

I'm still trying to work out why Martinelli had his assist removed for Odegaard's goal. It's a clean pass with the outside of his boot. His ownership isn't high enough for it to be an issue.

Ditto with Reguilon keeping his - I thought significant deflections (including saved shots like this) weren't assists these days?

      Surely 'tis a fix!!

"Players who have their shots saved, blocked by a defender or denied by the woodwork can earn an assist if the ball then falls to a team-mate to score or results in an own goal. The shot does not have to be on target to result in an assist.

"Touches or deflections from an opponent before the rebound do not cancel out the assist unless there is more than one that significantly changes the trajectory or power of the first failed shot on goal."

Apparently, it takes a "significant deflection" off Assignon (the Burnley defender directly in front of Martinelli), almost immediately after the ball is released, even though it looks like a clean pass. They're privy to more angles than we are so they must have a telling one.

Actually instead of keeping FT, just Darwin to Solanke and bench Taylor? Would like to get Hojlund but probably no place for him(?)

    Martinez
    Gabriel/Estu/Maguire/Taylor
    KDB/Saka/Foden/Bailey
    Haaland/Watkins

    Keheller/Porro/Richa/Darwin

Any recommended transfers? Few issues. 1FT £1.6 ITB. Will have to take a hit.

    Dubruv (Turner)
    Gabriel Estu Ake (Porro Guehi)
    Saka Richy Foden Palmer (Jota)
    Watkins Haaland (C) Darwin (VC)

    Cheers.

I'd wait until the press conference ahead of the midweek Liverpool match and see if Jota and Darwin can be ditched. Solanke is a must for two weeks' time and there are multiple midfield options to be had if you want them - Neto, Hwang, Garnacho, Adingra, KDB.

You either FH in 29 or WC in 30 but either way you're playing a major chip.

I'd rather FH 29 so I can bring in Salah and Son in 27 and field the strongest team which is the aim of FPL.

I am contemplating WC in 27 for this very reason.

I can get Salah and Son with 2 FT (means losing KdB but having Haaland softens the blow) but WC will allow me to strengthen other positions at the same time.

Aye and Rico Henry is likely out for the season, too. Aaron Hickey can play at LWB but is more likely to displace Roerslev on the right, if and when he's back from injury.

Morning all. In order to field XI next week are the below transfers worthwhile:

    Jota > Saka
    Darwin > Hojlund (-4)

    Y/N?

I’m considering these exact moves in order to field 10 for a -4.

Was planning on Darwin to Solanke this week which gives me 11 (although doubts over Estupinan & Tosin). However I'm now wondering whether Richarlison > Hee Chan is the move, and then Solanke in a couple of weeks.

    Thoughts?

        Raya - Areola
        Gabriel - Virgil - Walker - Estupinian - Gusto
        Jota - Foden - Saka - Palmer - Garnacho
        Watkins - Haaland - Solanke

        2 FT

Currently 1900 overall but chips tend to be a downfall so what chip strategy would you guys do with this team.

Have FH, WC and Bench Boost. Used Triple captain this week

Maybe you can look at BB28 then WC out of it?

Why sell Esupinian? He's got a fixture in 26.

Use your transfers then pick a chip strategy after FAC results which is before 27 deadline

Thoughts of Saliba or Pau in for Lascelles and Douglas for Jota for a hit?

          Areola
          Reguilon Lascelles Gabriel
          Foden KDB Saka Jota Gordon
          Watkins Haaland

          Dubravka Colwill Doughty Darwin

Sounds like a plan given you need a defender and an attacker.

You might not need to sell Lascelles depending on Schar's injury

Yeah might keep him if Schar is out but he probably need to go anyway to if I want to avoid the FH in 29.

Is anyone else losing patience with Estupinian?

Frustrating, I plan to hold, I think he has done a few things to annoy De Zerbi but I’m confident he will win his place back. I’ll likely hold until WC30 and sell then if things haven’t improved

Yes but shifting out injured players and GW26 blankers to have 11 starters is more of a priority than the 1 point cameos from the Perv which is currently better than 0 points from those not playing.

            Jota to Saka
            AND
            Garnacho to Hwang?

            Yay or nay?
Would have to do today otherwise won't be able to afford

Garnacho should have hauled yesterday and has Fulham at home next - wouldn't be looking to get rid now (especially not for a hit)

FH draft for gw26 - any good?

            Martinez
            Dalot, Ait-Nouri, Mitchell
            Saka, Neto, Hee Chan, KDB
            Watkins, Toney, Haaland

            Onana, Mitoma, Saliba, Moreno

Close between Hojlund (FUL) and Toney (whu) - but West Ham look like a basket case at the moment and gives me a player for the last match of the gw

Hojlund & Toney (I know, the Watkins brigade won't like it...)

Ballon Dawson over Ait Nouri maybe? SHU still leaking from set pieces

Not many defenders have scored v SHU - Moreno, Doughty, VVD, Tomiyasu, Dalot, Burn & Botman ... seems left sided defenders are the most likely to score

Likely waiting for a concrete update from the press conference tomorrow. Liverpool blank in GW26 so it's not like anyone would be bringing in their players this week anyway.

A couple of press conferences today ahead of Tuesday's game (times in GMT):

            12.30pm - Guardiola
            1.30pm - Frank

The big one from Klopp tomorrow.

Wonder if the funeral will be raised in the press conference? Strange how Haaland broke triple captain records with a lack of clarity on that.
