      Sort of reads that way. If I knew nothing about football I would think KDB is Man Utd captain from that.

        I don't think Hibbo's target audience are readers who know nothing about football, so no real issue.

    Morning. Speculating, but assuming there are just 4 fixtures in 29:

    Luton Forest
    West ham Villa
    Fulham Spurs
    Burnley Brentford

    Then surely Areola, Doughty, Bowen, Watkins, Son, Toney would cover most bases without needing to using a FH?

    If there are any upsets then more teams will get added and will negate the need even more...

      I disagree. Besides Watkins and Areola, those are not some highly owned players, so it's not like everyone will have them by the time GW29 comes. And even if some managers transfer them by that time, you are effectively missing out on some good transfers in the gameweeks between (like bringing BOU player for their dgw28, or Salah vs NFO in gw27 if he manages to come healthy).

      And FH-ers will still be able to field like 7-8 differentials, whereas most people not playing FH in 29 will be able to field 7-8 players in total ,period.

    changed my whole approach for this gw...

    Im on 2-4-2, wanted to make a defensive transfer to get to 10 players,
    Now im thinking why not get a striker in and play 2-4-3..

    More upside, make sense?

    any defender worthy of a -2 hit this week?

    As in, who's the defender (less than 4.8) most likely to score more than 2 points?

    (Wildcarding on 27 so its a 1 week punt).

    Or do nothing?

      I'd say Pau or Alt Nouri?...but for not for 2x hits. Could also be worth thinking about a Bournemouth def for double in 28

        Ah thanks.
        No would be for 1 hit to field 100. they just need to score more than 4 points... so im not sure ill do it

        WC 27 so not thinking about 28.

    Morning All,

    Already have Hojuland as United cover for this week, who to get to field 11 though?

    A- GroS
    B- Adingra
    C- Neto
    D- Hwang
    E- Garnacho

    Leaning towards Neto/GroS for now

    Neto / Dubravka
    Tripp / Gabriel / Maguire / Doughty / Senesi
    KDB / Saka / Hee Chan / Garnacho / Richarlison
    Haaland / Watkins / Solanke

    3.1 ITB to get Salah for KDB

      - Sa / Pickford

        Actually went Areola instead of Dubravka in case I won't use FH29

    Van Hecke, Gabriel, Doughty*
    Richarlison*, Salah*, Jota*, Foden
    J.Alvarez, Watkins, Haaland

    Dubravka, Palmer*, Bradley*, Colwill*

    1FT, 1.4ITB

    Had a shocking last month / 6 weeks am - in my opinion anyway - competitively out of the leagues I wanted to win.

    Felt like I had two options, try in vain with my poor team or just have fun till the end of season.

    Chose fun, -32 taken, vastly different team and will continue to mess around till season end

        Ouch - I held Odegaard for weeks prior to his form, benched/dropped Saka along with losing Watkins just at the wrong time.

      Fun starts when the FAC results determine BGW29 for chip strategy. Surprised you've already pushed the -32 hit button

      Always choose fun!

      I've been getting killed by no Arsenal the last few weeks. And had a horrendous DGW25 despite triple City attack, TC, triple Pool & Toney

    11 players but doubts over Estupinan and maybe Walker /Foden let's see:
    No hits.

    Areola
    Estupinan - Walker - Gabriel
    Saka - Hwang - Neto - Garnacho - Foden
    Haaland (c) - Watkins

    Holding Darwin for now to play him against Forest. Then he will switch to Solanke. Delaying the Solanke move lets me double up this week and next on Wolves danger men.

        Good point. I'd be getting rid of Allison (injured) and would either take Raya (last Arsenal spot) or anyone else and leave the Arsenal spot for Jota to Odegaard.

          I think Alisson is out until end of March. Who is your other GK?

          What's your plan for BGW29?

          I wouldn't use an Arsenal spot on Raya. You could pick a GK like Flekken/Martinez that covers that GW. Or consider Neto for DGW28. More GWs to pay off the GK hit

            Kelleher sadly. I was moving Allison to Flekken last week and then got very shortsighted by the Kelleher double excitement. So maybe it's time to rectify it now...quite like the Martinez or Neto shout. Neto could get some save points this week perhaps!?

            Thanks for the tips.

    Morning all, best moves here? 0FT - 3.4 itb

    Any moves would be for a hit.

    Areola
    Gabriel Saliba *Estupinan
    KDB Saka Foden Neto
    Haaland *Darwin Watkins

    Dubravka *Porro *Baldock *Chukwumeka

    A) G2G - Play with 10
    B) Chuk -> Garnacho (Allows KDB to Salah next GW)
    C) Darwin -> Solanke (preparing for GW28)
    D) Baldock -> Ait-Nouri (Sorting my defence out and still allows me to get Salah)

      Nunez to Solanke. You will get him next week anyway.

      Also Chuk to Luiz or Baldock to Cash. I don't know if you're FHing in 29 so it's difficult to give sound advice.

    I’m down to these 2 - whatcha think?

    A) Palmer -> Hwang (SHU)
    B) Darwin -> Solanke (MCY)

    A) has the better fixture but I’ll definitely be wanting B) for 28. Planning to NOT FH29.

    Areola
    Gabriel, Estupinan, Burn
    KDB, Saka, Foden, Gordon
    Haaland, Watkins

    Turner, Porro, Bradley, Palmer, Darwin
    Bank 0.1m, 1FT

        Also, in your shoes, I would definitely plan to FH29 unless some nice fixtures get added.

        You have 3 players atm that have a fixture. You'll have to spend every transfer from now until then on buying GW29 players and even then you'll still only field 8/11 without hits.

          Yeah I was hoping to save it, but if the FA cup results go to plan I’ll be very short in 29. Will make the call next week, but yeah FH29 might make the most sense!

        Sure about 27? Chelsea have a really poor recent record against Brentford (0-2, 0-2, 0-0, 1-4). I was considering waiting til 28 to get him

          Yeah I guess you could argue he's not that good in 27... Was quite impressed by Brentford defense vs City.

            Although some of the defending against Liverpool, particularly Collins, was pretty comical tbf. Still a bit hard to tell which Brentford (defence) will turn up at the moment

      B is incredibly safe and you will do it next week anyway. But Hwang has huge upside. I went Hwang (not for Palmer though).

        Yeah agree. SHU are rubbish so expect Hwang to outscore Solanke. Loathed to ditch Palmer, but I only lose 0.2 and would get him back on a 30/31 WC.

        (Blank, bre, NEW, blank) for Palmer

          Palmer's bre NEW is vs Hwang's new FUL

          Is it really better? Both are expected to blank in 29. With Chelsea actually LESS likely to blank. They lose to Leeds and that game vs Arsenal is on.

          I'm actually taking a calculated gamble this week by going triple Arsenal and Palmer. If Chelsea lose in the cup to Leeds, I don't have to FH29. If they do, I'll happily FH29.

          At least I have the option. Selling for Hwang puts a lot of pressure on him to deliver this week.

              Haha you get what I mean. If Hwang doesn't score big this week he's kind of a meh option going forward imo. You see this quite often where players become big bandwagons because they have one huge plum fixture at just the right time when you're replacing someone only for them to fall short.

            I'd say they're similar, but I'd be benching them in 27. FH29 makes a difference though - Palmer has a much better 30-32 and I'd likely delay the WC until 33 if FH29. Think that edges it back to Darwin -> Solanke this week.

            Something like:

            26: Darwin -> Solanke (11 starters)
            27: KDB -> Son
            28: Bradley -> Senesi (2 DGWers)
            29: FH

    Ive done a complete 180 on GW29 and decided to use FH.

    Plan was to WC 31 with a view to BB in 34 & FH37, however now going for..

    FH29, WC35 BB37.

    Would have to take minimum -8 from GW26-29 and i wouldnt even have Toney who i would be tempted to captain in 29.

    Just done Jota to Hwang so transfers now relating to attacking GW26-28.

    Whats everyone else doing?

      For people going big on Liverpool and wanting to keep Chelsea/Spurs/Luton assets it was a complete no-brainer imo. Most have a WC to prepare for the 34/37 setups. Even if you don't you still have a lot of weeks to 34 anyway.

    Would you take hit to bring in a defender from Arsenal/Villa/Wolves instead of Estupinan/Porro or just go with this?

    0 FTs and 9.6 ITB

    Dubravka
    Walker - Estupinan - Taylor
    Saka - Foden - Hwang - Garnacho
    Haaland - Watkins - Solanke
