        It's lost it's magic ever since Man United disrespected it to make a show of themselves in the Club World cup in Brazil. That was the tournament where Edmundo - the guy who got a monkey drunk on live TV - made an absolute tit out of Gary Neville!

          Currently living there. Which is why I’m typically using FFS during the DZ times. Wasn’t aware that my chosen country league had to be USA as well given people often choose their country league for a variety of reasons, often personal. If that’s the necessary criterion for being a part then I’ll accept your decision to remove me, but I was enjoying being in that league and would prefer to continue if it’s deemed acceptable. Thanks for the quick reply.

    Would you BB this lot in 31? Planning to WC32 so could then load the bench with fodder and not spread funds with a 34BB

    Areola (TOT)
    Senesi (CPL)
    Burn (EVE)
    Gordon (EVE)

      the only one I'd mind is Areola. Otherwise middling sgw fixtures, I'd expect a return from gordon and at least one CS. I'd go for it if it feels right when the time comes.

      It'll be nice to trim the bench on WC.

      Might depend if you’re FH 29 or not. If you’re not going to FH then I’d hold off on Salah until 30 given he has City then a blank following. Gives you a chance to assess his fitness also.

          Poor logic. Having 8 decent attackers and getting occasional bench points is better than 7 plus 1 fodder

          1. Tommy Template
            • 11 Years
            1 year, 9 months ago

            Is it better though? If you're picking nailed players then unless you pick up an injury or there is a blank you won't be picking up occasional bench points. If you're rotating you are going to get it wrong a lot because that's the way football/sport goes, if we all knew who would do what each week then there'd be a lot of poor bookies. If its an injury then you aren't keeping that injured 8th player anyway you'll transfer them. I mean if you've got a half decent defence (whatever that is these days) and you're not on Areola/Dubravka and you've not got a fodder then crack on but otherwise are those benched funds not better spread amongst the defence and on a better keeper? Or even on a better playing 7th attacking option?

    Good morning all. Looks like KDB and Salah are about to drop/rise any second. Do we know when the prices are likely to update?

    I can take 0.2 swing, but would obviously rather not take that hit of avoidable.

      Both could have a mid-week game in the FA Cup. You'd expect given the opposition and fitness levels, their respective managers wouldn't risk them. But they might and it might end badly...

        Chelsea under Pochettino have only played Brentford once and lost 2-0. Is the record under different managers valid or 1 game against Brentford under Poch enough data sample?

        1. The Mentaculus
          • 4 Years
          1 year, 9 months ago

          Hmm I guess I would put less weight on the record if I felt Poch had transformed the way Chelsea play, but breaking down a compact defence like Brentford still lingers as an issue and that last matchup seemed to typify it. So yeah I would expect it to be fairly tight.

            For me, the reason you gave of Pochettino's Chelsea struggling to breakdown Frank's 3/5ATB is better than referring to Chelsea v Brentford record.

    Not a fan of goalkeeper transfers but run out of patience with Dubravka / Turner.

    Neto the best option? For a hit or nah?

        What I was thinking. I have no confidence in a CS even if he's ok to play

      IF Bournemouth end up having a confirmed fixture in 29 then yes I think it could be worth the hit in 27 for Neto

    Best option here? Will likely be FHing 29.

    A) KDB -> Son
    B) Darwin -> Solanke
    C) A + B (-4)
    D) KDB, Foden & Darwin -> Salah(c), Palmer & Solanke (-8)

    Kelleher
    Gabriel, Porro, Bradley
    KDB, Saka(c), Foden, Gordon
    Haaland, Watkins, Darwin

    Areola, Hwang, Burn, Estupinan
    Bank 0.0m, 1FT

    KDB > Son is probably worth -4 isn’t it?

      Did you see how united played yesterday? If KDB is fit to play I dont think he's a sell

    Hopes and dreams rest with Hwang (C) today. Incoming pre-match injury, or ineffective first half followed by a half-time benching.

    If Salah starts today then Gordon + Estu -> Salah + Bradley looks good for 2FT? Bradley would be the 4th defender
