Got myself into a bit of a funk the last couple of weeks, not sure what to do here.
    BB and WC available

    Verbuggen
    White Udogie Bradley
    Diaz Foden* Palmer Son
    Solanke Haaland Isak

    Subs: Areola*, Doughty, Taylor, Bowen*

Any suggestions ahead of next weeks DGW?
Thinking of potentially getting rid of both Foden & Bowen > Odegaard & Havertz for -4 this week
    Then Isak > Nunez?

Do I activate by WC or wait until after DGW? Any help appreciated.

      I wouldn't WC until 35.

A good dgw34 squad looks nothing like a good dgw37 one.

If you WC in 33/34 you'd have to compromise between covering both to some extent which isn't ideal.

Deadend 34, wildcard 35, Bowen out this week, and that will be a good start, your funk will return after that!

This is my current team. I have 2 FTs and £1.5 itb.

    Pickford, Petrovic
    Bradley, Gabriel, ait-nouri, gusto, udogie
    Son, salah, Gordon, palmer, saka
    Haaland, Muniz, Darwin

Over the next 2 GWs I want to do:

Son > havertz, muniz > mateta, Gordon > sarabia.

Plan is to do one this week, and roll 1 FT.

    Thoughts? Any advice?

I think the Muniz move can wait - Mateta would only be benched and WHU away not a horrible fixture for Muniz if one of your starters gets a rest and he subs in. So it comes down to the other two. Spurs can't keep a clean sheet (which makes Gordon an attractive proposition) and not sure if return of Cunha and Hwang might impact Sarabia so I think i'd probably do the Son move this week.

Yeah I think this makes sense. son > Havertz/Odegaard this week, and asses the rest next week.

Sarabia could easily be Garnacho. Didn’t realise Hwang and Cunha were on their way back

The latter came on at the weekend. Former I am not 100% sure, and I would expect him to be eased back in in any case. How that affects Sarabia (more or less attractive) I don't know. I can't see Wolves scoring a lot away at Forest.

Did try setting up for BB34 FH37 but not so sure now...

    * DGW34
    ^ injured

    Pickford*
    Gabriel* RAN* Gvardiol
    Salah* Son Diaz* Havertz* Palmer
    Haaland* Solanke*

    Neto* Mateta* Branthwaite* Richards^

Options with 3FT before 34 are:

    A. BB34 - Richards Gvardiol Son -> 2x DGW defs + Saka, get Son back for 35
    B. FH34 - keep Son and get spurs/Chelsea for 35, then build for BB37

I'd definitely go A here - you have clearly planned to do this and can get to a solid number of DGW players with free transfers. Maybe you can get Saka + VVD + a cheap defender if the money works for your 3rd Pool and 3rd Arsenal. If not you could go double Arsenal def and bet against Saka with Havertz for a week. Maybe someone like Eze in midfield to enable that, or a third Pool attacker like MacAllister.
No doubt you have loads of money in Palmer so keeping him makes sense.
You could consider someone like Dalot who doubles in 37 but has a decent GW34 fixture also.
Son and Palmer aren't the end of the world in GW35.

    Pickford
    Gabriel, Porro, Gusto
    Salah, Son, Foden, Saka, Foden
    Toney, Darwin

    Areola*, Watkins, Pau, Doughty

2FT which I need to use before FH34 and WC35. Was set on Haaland in (with Son and Watkins making way) but wondering if that is still the best move?

“We will have to see that,” Klopp told his pre-match press conference on their involvement at Anfield on Thursday.

“So, obviously we didn’t rush it with the boys. You can but we didn’t, that means they did a lot of training by themselves, especially Diogo and Trent, [they] worked as a group for two or three weeks really properly training. So, [they] looked very good yesterday to be honest.

“Stefan is different a little bit because he was out for much longer, but he is now training with us for longer as well. But I think after the long spell he had without playing football it makes sense that we might give him a game at U21s and then let’s see how we deals with that. That’s not the plan with the other three guys. Alisson is on the way back as well. So, we have to see that.

“They are now back in training and now we have to see how we involve them and how we use them. That we need them is clear. But we need them in the best possible shape, and we want to give them kind of rhythm.

"It’s always a challenge trying to reintegrate the guys. With the quality they have it should be easier, and we will use them in the next days and weeks, but it means for tomorrow I didn’t make a decision yet.”

I have one alternative punt for you: Brereton Diaz. I've listed reasons this morning:

          - not particularly keen on Palace double
          - Brereton is OOP, didnt watch him much but against Chelsea he was hogging the box and everything was going through him (unfortunately not the goals)
          - BUR and MUN at home are pretty solid dgw fixtures, even for dreadful Sheffield
          - for the sake of pure FPL fun in having one more team to follow those days

I know its risky because Sheffield, but al of them (SHU, CRY, WOL) have underwhelming attacks, so might choose one who is most forward positioned

Would you bench boost this in 34 if you have 11 starters?

Jose Sa (ARS, BOU) - Zabarnyi (avl, wol) - Garnacho (SHU) - Maguire (SHU)

Alternatively I can wildcard in 35 to set up a bb 37, not sure if it will be better.

Pending Europe. Free hit 34, two free transfers, looking to maximise spurs and Chelsea for their double.

            Onana, Petrovic,
            Gabriel, Udogie, Gvardiol, Burn, Bradley*
            Salah, Son, Havertz*, Palmer, Garnacho,
            Haaland, Isak, Darwin*

Looking at 2 of the following:
            A) Havertz to a spurs mid
            B) Darwin to Jackson
            C) Bradley to Van Hecke, or a >5.0 if paired with b

Happy to hear any other suggestions as well!

haha very similar team and predicament to me below. Are you also planning to BB in 37? I am thinking to drop Bradley and Darwin because I think they are minutes risks going forward, more so than Havertz. But CRY at home is a very nice fixture so could go massively wrong and no idea really who to bring in. Considering Pedro / Hojland / Alvarez but none really stand out. In your case I would probably do B and C. Not many decent options between Van Hecke and 5m so maybe bank the cash there.

Yep, Bb 37, lose Darwin and Bradley in the lead up. May leave Bradley this week and move the other two attackers depending on Trent’s fitness.

Anyone care to offer some ideas for best moves here? Apologies for not listing out potentials but I have so many options but nothing is really standing out so interested in what others propose. FH 34 (so need to use both transfers), BB37

            Petrovic, Pickford
Ait Nouri, Gabriel, Udogie, Bradley, Gusto
            Salah, Havertz, Son, Palmer, Garnacho

Similar to me above, I’m looking to maximise the Chelsea and spurs players for the doubles.

So as much as I dislike the options,‘'m potentially going Maddison and maybe Jackson in the next week or post 34.

I guess I could bring in Rich / Maddison for Havertz. Think I'd rather lose Darwin though. Feel like he will start getting his minutes managed now the injuries are abating.

Best option I can see would be to lose one of Darwin / Havertz plus Bradley.

Maybe something like Havertz to Gordon, Bradley to Schar.

Or, Darwin to Pedro or Jackson if you're happy to take a punt.

OK, thanks. You don't think Son will have any joy on the break against an attacking Newcastle side?

I prefer Havertz v Villa over 1/9 CS Pickford and selling inform and rested Gordon v a leaky Spurs.

Would you do a -4 to do Mac Allister to Diaz in 34?

Alternatively, which midfielder would you bring in for a 1 week punt for Son (max 9.5m), but can't be Liverpool or arsenal

              I'd keep Mac A

1 week punt - KDB if affordable, if not maybe Mbeumo perhaps?

            Areola
            White Gabriel Van Hecke
            Foden Salah Saka Palmer
            Isak Haaland Solanke

            Kelleher garncho bradley zabby

            Dependent on liverpool annoucments*
            A) Hold
            b) Areola > DGW GK

FPL newbie here learning my mistake hard way.

              Kheller, Pickford
              Saliba, mykolenko, Bradley, zabarnyi, Bell
Salah, son, saka, Palmer, Douglas luiz
              Muniz, solanke, Haaland.

              Chips: BB
              Lead: 29 points

Any ideas on how to stay ahead

You will make more mistakes but keep learning mate.
With this team I would BB in 34 , save this week then
If Kellerher looks unlikely to start both in 34 out for Onana and have him for the good fixtures and DGW 37
                Douglas Louis to Garnacho.
Son to a Palace mid for a-4 if the right one could easily cover Son back in 35
Then a few hits from 35 until 38 to try and stay ahead.
