Nightmare GW34 - (Red Arrow) made school boy errors by transferring early after GW33 & then
injured/not paying 100% attention on transfer - anyone else have a disaster.

    Bradley (injured) to Munoz
    Darwin to Cunha (-4) hit
    ---
Discovered Cunha just before deadline injured
Cunha to SGW player accidentally selected instead of Mateta DGW (-8)
    ---

Seeing no Haaland play in Semi final good chance he will not play this week in my
FPL team & this morning read Palmer has an illness looks doubtful - ah

So you took a minus 8 to avoid the Mateta haul?

That's a 24 point swing so far. Who's the single gw striker who could get some ground back for you?

      Isak?

Newcastle much better at home, but presumably they won't be spent like West Ham were.

I know AC/DC AFC - I was going for Mateha but had brain freeze & selected a SGW by mistake
it was only a couple minutes noticed the mistake too late (ah-no) total accident - my most annoying
of the season - all down to last minute panic...

SGW - unfortunately was Wood 2 points - no idea what was happening - I wish it wasn't.

I have to just take this one as a lesson learnt (painfully) park Wood for GW35
& bring in for GW36 against Sheffield United & pray he gets a hattrick to redeem
        lost points

        ---

How have you done todate this GW34 AC/DC ?

    Gabriel Gusto Branthwaite
    Salah Son Foden Palmer
    Haaland Isak Darwin

    (Onana Garnacho Udogie Van Hecke)
    1 FT & 0.6m

    A) Darwin & Garnacho to Pedro & Gordon -4
    B) Udogie & Garnacho to Burn & Gordon -4
    C) Petrovic & Darwin to Dubravka & Jackson -4

Anything else? Thoughts on this? 🙂

What do you think of this WC? I will FH in 37. And plan would be to remove White and Gabriel in 37.

    Edersen / Vicario
    Schar / Gusto / Dalot / Gabriel / White
    Gordon / Son / Johnson / Foden / Palmer
    Jackson / Haaland / Isak

    Thanks

Obligatory "don't like booking in transfers on a WC". That said, I wouldn't be against being "stuck" with Gabriel and White if unexpected injuries came into play

Who will score more from now to the end of the session
    A. Dubravka, Gusto, Gabriel, Salah, Muniz

It's a good midfield, you could punt on Bruno over Salah in that case.

        Or consider dropping Haaland?

I like Muniz more than the second strikers above (b or c) but I get that people are playing the extra fixture too.

        1. Mozumbus

          C in that case then
Salah to Bruno frees up funds to reinforce elsewhere
But then there will be benching headache in GW35-36

A benching headache is much better than being 0.1m off the player you want to select.

I've just seen that Haaland is down to 64% ish EO.

If he's fit to play on Thursday at Brighton and is back with a couple of goals then that will take the shine off the Free Hitters in gw34.

Fair enough, it was a good play and was my intention too.

... Well Olise and Mateta but in the end I was too far away from the BB which would have flopped.

Palace attack with 2 home games and West Ham playing Thursday and Sunday was discussed on here in the build up.

I never fancied their defence tbf.

Was going to do Son Foden Estu and Minuz to Olise, Eze White and Mateta (-8)

Stould have done the transfers early this GE knowing the weekend was busy

    Work in progress on WC

    Neto
    RAN, Gusto,
    Salah, Saka, Eze, Gordon
    Isak, Solanke, Haaland,

    Flekken, Palmer, White, Gabriel,

    2.6

Chelsea Keeper & Jackson or Gusto, 2 or 3?

    Got 3 NewC

Salah/Haaland keep or lose, Watkins is smashing it & plays 90, Jota on comeback looks lethal.

From GW35, Porro has 6 fixtures and Gabriel has 4.

My thoughts are If Porro is fit I'll play him for GW35 and then transfer him to Gabriel/Saliba for GW36 and then reverse the transfer again if there's no other issues in my team for DGW37.

    Gusto, Porro, Schar
Foden, Palmer, Son, Gordon, B Fernandes
    N Jackson Isak

    Onana, Haaland, Dalot, Gvardiol

I accidentally pulled the trigger on Gabriel to Gvardiol. Could potentially change it back OR could do Porro to Gabriel if Porro isn't available.

There are three teams in the title race and you've got no one from two of them. Appreciate they play each other during 37 but ditching them for 1 of the next 4 weeks fldoesnr sit right with me. DGW are great but Man U and Spurs defensive double ups feels like you're relying on unreliable attacking returns/saves for points

      1. JAYPEE
        • 7 Years

Man Utd & Spurs fixtures are easier than Liverpool & Arsenals for the rest of the season, they have more fixtures and they still have something to play for.

In GW36, when Arsenal play Bournemouth and Spurs are playing against Liverpool, I can easily do Porro to Gabriel.

Which Liverpool asset is a must? I'd try bring in either Diaz or Jota depending on who's more nailed. Salah is too expensive and waiting to hear more news on Haaland.

I don't think Salah + Haaland works as you're spending over 25% of your budget on two players who are not hitting the levels their price tag demands. So you have to choose, and with fewer good DGW strikers, losing Mo probably makes sense.

In order for BB37 to work properly, I think you have to accept some benching headaches. The team seems good to me and is roughly what my draft looks like. I have Garnacho instead of Bruno, Ederson instead of Petrovic (some think Sanchez might take a start off him) and I haven't gone in for Porro yet (waiting for news)

      Over which midfielder?

      Son
      Palmer
      Foden
      KDB
      Gordon
      Bruno
      Johnson

Not for the remainder of the season, had him a couple of times this season and it paid off.

Too much cash available at the moment, so not going cheap in midfield.

Didn't he ask recently if he could play less

Yes, so they made sure there were no more European fixtures.

Rodri actually played v Real Madrid.
I like Stones as an FPL Man City defensive pick for the run in with this in mind.

    NUFC fitness latest

Howe confirms @MailSport updates & both Joe Willock & Lewis Miley won’t feature this season. “Longer term view” taken

Trippier/Pope/Joelinton/Almiron not training but “hope” they’ll play this season

Wilson “trained very well” this week

Still uncertainty with Dubravka in 37 with Pope.

Sounds like Trippier is likely out for 35 so won't be in my WC35. Might be open to Trippier transfer in 37 if available.

Expect Wilson to take some mins from Isak but not start ahead of him imo

    Eddie Howe on Callum Wilson:

"Callum has trained really well this week; it has been good to have him back. The energy and quality that he brings, he has come back looking really good. We anticipate he will be able to hit the ground running and make an impact for us.”

Certainly reduces Isak's xMins but I don't think it'll impact starts.

Everyone will have Isak for run in
Last season was bad enough going him over Wilson!
As Tony says, I agree on his point regarding Wilson’s minutes

Same, Ait Nouri 2nd sub. Don't care which player I end up getting, as long as I get the right one with the DD haul haha

    A) Burn/Trip + Foden
    B) Dias/Walker + Gordon

(Won't buy the def til GW37, so was hoping Trippier would be back)

Is Son with a tough dgw so much better option then Gordon at home against Sheff U?

I know that Son could very well haul, especially against Chelsea but Spurs dont look good right now...

Better trio for the run in:
    A) Vicario, Gvardiol, Jackson
    B) Petrovic, Gabriel, Werner
