Here comes the hot pressers, I'm the team news gangster:

    9.30am - Howe
    10am - Klopp
    12.30pm - Guardiola
    1pm - Pochettino, Postecoglou, O'Neil, Iraola
    1.15pm - Wilder
1.30pm - Arteta, Moyes, Dyche, Glasner, Edwards, Kompany, Nuno, Silva
    2pm - Emery

All times in BST as usual. Frank and ten Hag were yesterday, so there's only De Zerbi (who is fond of a Saturday press conference) not listed.

Thanks Neale. Hopefully positive news on Gordon from Howe. Torn between selling/benching either him or Isak.

Pretty much the same here! Gordon looked the livelier of the two in GW37. Isak still seemed under the weather.

It'll likely be Bruno or Gordon out for me, with Havertz or Olise coming in. Then one of Bruno/Gordon/Isak being benched.

Gordon has suddenly come alive away from home, at the right time! Thankfully I've Havertz so it'll just be the one move for me this week (Olise/Eze an option too). Good luck for the final GW of the season!

Good morning all. Anything worth a -4 here. I’d like a Liverpool player in but not sure it’s worth a -4.

    Petrovic
    Porro/gabriel/gvardiol
    Havertz/foden/palmer/son
    Haaland/isak/jackson

    Verbrugen/burn/gordon/dalot

    2mil in the bank.

    Thanks all 🙂

You could swap Isak or Jackson out for Gakpo without a hit? Or do you mean you've already used your FT?

Yea I used my 1FT to do richarlison to havertz.

    A) Romero -> Gabriel
    B) Walker -> Gvardiol

Same decision for me this week,

I think Olise is more fun but I think Havertz is the safer pick and will be going with him instead.

However, my decision is slightly helped more by having Mateta already and my rival has Havertz, so would like to block him on that.

7 points behind is nothing. Just play your best game. Don't even need a differential captain as long as you have 3 players different to him.

    Morning all.

I’m on a FH, chasing 33 points in mini league. Annoyingly the leader is on FH too, but I suspect will play it fairly safe.

What are your thoughts on this team to try and catch him?

    Petrovic
    Gvardiol Trent Trippier
    Salah palmer Mbeumo Olise
    Haaland Mateta gapko

    (Flekken Son Cucurella Assignon)

He’ll have Haaland, Palmer, Salah, Gvardiol, not sure he’d have many of the others.

Enough differentials here or do I need to go more left field?

  11. LiverpoolKG
    • 3 Years
    1 year, 6 months ago

24pts behind mini-league rival. What should I be doing here? Starred are player they also have.

    Vicario
    Gabriel* - Gusto* - Porro
    Foden* - Son* - KDB - Palmer*
    Isak* - Jackson - Haaland*

    Areola - Reguilon - Burn - Gordon*

    1. tommo-uk-
      • 13 Years
      1 year, 6 months ago

First thing you can’t captain Haaland. Maybe KDB as a huge differential or Palmer.

Second option could be to sell Gordon to Olise and bench Isak.

      1. LiverpoolKG
        • 3 Years
        1 year, 6 months ago

Yea def Capt elsewhere, on Palmer at the moment with KDB Vice so same thinking there. I am weighing up whom to aim at, I fancy Gakpo as Pool should see Klopp off well, but prob limited mins, Trossard to cover rivals probable Havertz transfer in, again, mins risk. Or as you say Olise/Eze in for Gordon and only play 2 up top........

    2. mrelpea
      • 9 Years
      1 year, 6 months ago

Tommo UK’s suggestion (Gordon to Olise and bench Isak) and KDB to Salah for a hit

      1. LiverpoolKG

City need to score goals, surely I am better keeping KDB as rival doesnt own him?

          • 13 Years

If you have 2 FT the Salah move could work but wouldn’t take a hit.

    3. mrelpea
      • 9 Years

And start Reguilon ahead of Gabriel (I’m not convinced Arsenal keep a cleanie vs Everton)

      1. LiverpoolKG
        • 3 Years
        1 year, 6 months ago

Who is going to score the Everton Goals? Rival has double Arsenal def so have to cover some of it

I could see Doucoure getting none, for example. Reason I’m not 100% convinced about their CS potential is because they’ll want to make sure they win and get their part of the deal done (and then pray for West Ham to do them a favour)

Gordon > midfield punt of your choice and bench Isak. Captain Son or Palmer (you don't want to captain alt City because if they score big Haaland most likely benefits and you're stuffed anyway if Haaland hauls - assuming your ML leader caps him)

Midfield punts: Olise, Trossard, Havertz, Johnson

      1. LiverpoolKG

The capt city alternative is a good point, not thought through that scenario. Trossard I prefer but think 60mins ish, Olise or Eze top shouts and bang in form, but Villa are decent at the back regardless of being already qualified for CL :/

Just inside top 5k by the skin of my teeth.

Play it safe - Bruno to Havertz (Haaland C)

Go for it - Bruno to Olise (don’t captain Haaland)

First of all, congrats on the rank. If I were you, I would 100% go for it.

        Cheers!

        Currently on Palmer (c)

Hoping Villa are on the beach as nothing to play for and Palace can keep the momentum going.

No doubt it will be Eze or Will Hughes who get the haul this week!

The biggest lessons you've learned this season? Mine is easy: always bench boost a week or two after wildcard. Might even BB gw1 next season to get that stupid chip out of the way

    1. Boss Hogg
      • 16 Years
      1 year, 6 months ago

My bench boost strategy is simple... no planning, just play it on a whim when you know you have 15 starters with decent fixtures and/or form. Don't overthink it as there are so many things that can go wrong!

Lessons from this season - going with a template based squad with just a few key differentials is fine.

I feel A is the safe play as I have 2 FT and could just do Fernandes, Gordon > Havertz, Olise like many others. Other option is Fernandes, Isak > Salah, (Mubama) and play Porro or Gordon. Salah is tempting, but would have to do it tonight due to price.

9 pts behind in ML. He'll captain Haaland and we have similar teams.

Do I captain Son or Palmer?

    No love for KDB?
I thought he would be a must (if fit) seeing city are in a must win game (assuming Arsenal win)

Not a must but a nice differential.

Most teams likely have triple City.

Good pick if you can get there pending injury update

Morning all. 2FT and 0.4m ITB. Thinking Bruno + Gordon > Olise and Havertz? Not catching ML leader as he is 100 points ahead so may aswell go for some different players.

    Petrovic
    Porro - Burn - White
    Palmer - Son - Foden - Bruno
    Isak - Haaland - Jackson

    (Ederson) - Gordon - Dalot - Braithwaite

Any suggestions here? I'm 13 points behind in 1 ML, and 16 ahead in another.

    Current team:
    Petrovic
    Akanji / Reguilon / Gabriel
    KDB / Son / Saka / Palmer
    Jackson / Haaland / Wilson

    Vicario / Garnacho / Livramento / Zabarnyi

Are you chasing or defending? If it's both then just make the best moves in a vacuum. It's unlikely that you place equal weight on the MLs.

Probably defending just shades it as that's the take the title.

The other I have won the ML, but it's just for a monthly prize

    Hello,

I am just inside the Top 10k with two FTs and 0m itb.

    I have triple Arsenal defence.

What would you do? Many thanks

    Petrovic
    Saliba, Gabriel, White
    Son, Bruno, Palmer, Foden
    Haaland, Isak, Jackson

    Ederson, Gordon, Porro, VDV

Make my own decision. Or narrow the options a bit. Bruno out probably, and I'd play Porro

I was thinking Bruno and Gordon to Olise to Eze.

I could remove an Arsenal Mid, play Porro and get Saka/Havertz in

FTs? I'm unsure if the Arsenal mid route is worth a hit

Seeing quite a few potential moves looking at transferring Bruno out, but does anyone else think he's a bit of a differential? He's only 15% owned (and dropping), United will be motivated to win, and Brighton have absolutely nothing to play for and a load of defenders injured.

I disagree that United will be motivated to win.

United care about the FA Cup final more than this last game. Players will not push themselves. I think there are lots better picks.

      Don't agree.

They will preserve themselves for the cup final

I agree with you. Not in their hands but they need to win and hope Newcastle slip up - European football is massive for the club. Footballers take one game at a time so they will see it as having 2 cup finals not 1.

    Best option;

    A) Play Isak
    B) Gordon > Olise (-4)

    Cheers.

Thoughts on punty going Gakpo instead of Arsneal/CP mid? Or too much of uncertainty?

Gakpo playing up front so not a bad shout!

Probably better than Salah in for a -4 for me
