Anyone else trying to figure out which two of Hudson-Odoi, Wood, Muniz, and Smith-Rowe to pick?

Wood and ESR have impressed me the most in preseason

Currently have no player from either team, but just my preference

ESR and Wood would be my preferred options

    Henderson
    Gvardiol | Gabriel | Mykolenko
    Bruno | eze | Nkunku | Saka
    Haaland | muniz | Isak

Subs : valdimarsdon, Esr, faes, THB

Gtg or find way of getting Salah in midfield?

Plan B could be Jota/alternative Liverpool midfielder to replace Salah

Always nightmare GW1 / GW2 (first half of season) does not matter what I try.

Any nail 5 players must have for start of season for possible first 3 Gws?

Isak is the only one I think should be in every draft tbh.

        Thanks Tony,

        Really appreciate response/help.

I'm thinking of possible even BB in GW1 as last two season been awful
& then can look for strong first eleven without worry of strong bench
as with new updates could possible accrue 5 FT

With the talent pool lurking at the lowest price rungs this season (5.5 fwd, 5.5 mid, 4.5 def, Pickford/Pope + 4.5 GK), I'm reluctant about a GW1 BB. The one or two small DGWs we do have could set up some beauties, or a random SGW where the fixtures for cheapies align. I think we'll get a few good cheap BB weeks without needing to WC out of it. That's before counting saved transfers in the plan, of course

Don't you think GW1 could be one of those opportunities with the likes of Bobb, Hall and Barco? Wouldn't need to WC out of that.

This season's start is even weirder, due to late returnees from the Euros, Copa America, and the Olympics

If you want a fast start, you might be locking in an early wildcard or some early FTs, to get the likes of Foden and Palmer by maybe spreading Haaland funds

Then there's the part where the best fixture run is for Liverpool, an elite club with a new manager. Which way will their performances go? Will the fact that this afternoon is the (likely) first XI's first match together actually matter?

Wouldn't put too much stock into your previous season starts, tbh. It's gonna be wild until the first international break, I think

Just read that Sheff Weds fans wearing counterfeit team shirts will be ejected from the club's home games. Really?!! The exorbitant ticket fees & prices for their branded shirts are already pricing out true fans from games. Pure greed! I wonder if they'll take the same action if a kid turns up at Hillsborough wearing a vintage replica shirt?

Not sure how they’d monitor that without stripping people off haha. Unless they have a dodgy Chinese shirt detector.

    Which combo:

    A) ESR & Solanke
    B) Eze & Muniz

    Other mids & fwds are:
    Salah - Kuluveski - Jota - Semenyo
    Haaland - Isak

First off, to answer your question: A

Buuuut... I don't like Semenyo's fixtures. Not sure what to expect from Bournemouth without Solanke, so I see them as a classic wait-and-see

Kulusevski, as great as he's looked in preseason, is a medium-term minutes risk. Jota too, but that fixture run can make him worthwhile before selling him if he's somehow dropped

That's a very punty midfield overall, imo

My suggestions will probably pull you to the FFS template anyway

I take your points on board.
I’m swaying away from Eze to begin with as he’s not been in pre-season yet.
Nkunku.. is a wait and see. Need to see how Chelsea start.
Kulu is in as I want spurs coverage for the first two fixtures.
Semenyo is in as he will be out of position forward.. proven goal scorer in prem.
Jota is in for the fixtures and is pool’s best finisher

Really torn on going Salah or Haaland. I'm on a Salah draft atm.
These are the transfers for a Haaland draft, would you press the button?

Out: Trent, Mykolenko, Salah, Son, Smith-Rowe, 4.5 FWD
In: Porro, Harwood-Bellis, Jota, Gordon, Winks, Haaland

I'm thinking of going tiny at the back and weak on the bench for a week or 2, bad idea?

    Areola
    Robinson Mykolenko Hall
    Salah Palmer Gordon ESR
    Haaland Isaak Wood

    Fabianski Winks Johnson THB

It’s a no from me. Tiny at the back, no bench, *and* starting a 5.5 mid every week? Too many sacrifices for Salah, Haaland, and Palmer.

Liverpool 3-0 up against Sevilla. Diaz 2 and Jota. Salah saving his goals for Ipswich when it really counts.

    Dallying with a potential BB2 now…

Sels (SOU) | Hall (BOU) | Bobb (IPS) | Smith-Rowe (LEI)

Thoughts? Only problem is that in my current draft Bobb would be my third City and Hall my third Newcastle players.

    Flekken

Salah - Eze - Gordon - Nkunku (Winks)
    Haaland - Isak (C) - Muniz

Gone for a no Haaland/Salah draft. Any feedback on the below?

    Pickford/4.0
    White/Maatsen/Shaw/Munoz/Davis
    Palmer/Nkuku/Son/Odeegard/ESR
    Isak/Havertz/Solanke

Shame for no City, just don't like their rotation risk
