    Thoughts on Colwill minutes? He played on like every pre season game so far. For 4.5m seems like a good option if nailed.

          He has started each game when fit I am pretty sure over pre season. He’ll start v City.

      I would say he is a safe bet to start. He hasn’t looked great but the best of a bunch at the moment. Can’t see us keeping many clean sheets but that can all change I am sure.

      I would just hold onto it in case you want to make any moves early doors. Starting XI looks good. I imagine winks will be last on your bench anyway and both Robinson and Barco are solid options

    A is more based on fixtures, B is more based on quality players despite their fixtures.

    I like trying to find a different punt. Players like Trossard, Rashford have been on the list. But decided on Paqueta. All the talk about ESR, CHO etc. For £0.5m more, Paqueta is level above, looks to be playing the 10 role more now too. On pens just as importantly. Scored and assisted at the weekend. And been playing regularly well for Brazil recently by all accounts. With Kudus/Bowen/Summerville alongside him, I can see West Ham being a real goal threat.

      I'm currently thinking Palmer is a better option than Saka, Son or Salah. Saka probably my preference of the two (or three), but not sure TAA is worth his premium due to rotation risk.

      Could be. I think Gvardiol might not reproduce the form from the latter half of last season and is also potentially a rotation risk.

    group think is a mostly healthy concept as long as it's constructive and carefully considering all possibilities.

    I've struggled with this myself over the years, this year bench boosting gameweek 1 is a good way of being different!

    This gentleman man above Si, sounds like a maverick to me. I like the Paqueta punt he's a class player and West Ham are gonna finish in and amongst it with the signings they've made.

    How strong is this league? incredible. You could say the top 8 will be:

    Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool, Spurs, Man Utd, Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa

    Then you've got West Ham, Brighton, Crystal Palace who are so close to being considered in that company.

    I suspect early wildcards will be pressed at unprecedented levels. So...get your bench boost out of the way. It's not hindsight, it's just logical.

      This gentleman man above, FFS Deadzone sounds like a maverick to me. I like the bench boost punt because there will be a lot of early wild cards.

    Think this will be the one, what do you think? Not keen on Kulusevski or Garnacho though..

    Light at the back, as I believe more point can be made in midfield and attack. Hope to make it with this lot to at least after GW3, then there are enough price points and FT's to be flexible I believe.

      I get light at the back but that feels extreme. Quansah and Barco could lose their spot in a few gws. You could downgrade Kulu to a 4.5 and play Rogers (or get ESR) to upgrade the defense

        Yeah valid point there. I do believe Quansah will make it at least trough the first three GW's, after that I will probably downgrade Jota or Kulu and upgrade Quansah. Already have Muniz and despite fixtures a double up on Fulham attack feels a bit much..

      I'd get a different backup gk than Turner. He's not even second choice. I also prefer Robinson to Castagne but it's close. Nothing stands out as wrong with it. For a cheap enabler, I like Barco (4.0 defender on Brighton). He'll definitely start until Estu returns and I think will likely keep his place. I don't love Porro and would rather have a good defense for that price but to each their own

      Hard to critique it. Feels like a lot of short term picks in Jota, Bobb, and Rogers. Sels also isn't nailed. Might want to balance it out a little bit more
