    Raya Fab
    Trent Robertson Robinson (Faes Greaves)
    Salah Saka Palmer Smith-Rowe Rogers
    Wissa Watkins (Pedro)

Pedro/Wissa with nice rotation and I’m keen on going for the Liverpool triple up, looking dangerously good..

Other option is Havertz/4.5 over Wissa/Robbo..

    Thoughts?

I would look to upgrade ESR to Mbuemo/Eze or Jota , Robbo or TAA downgrade

Really good. Was onto something similar and thought it was unique, but seems that others are also thinking of the rotating cheap forward line

Nkunku, Quansah and Barco wasn’t great choices so now losing value and have players not playing

    Henderson
    Gabriel, Robinson, Mykolenko
    Salah, Jota, ESR, Rogers
    Haaland, Isak, Muniz

    Bentley, Nkunku, Quansah, Barco

    1 FT 1.5 ITB

    A) Nkunku + Isak > Palmer + J.Pedro (-4)
    B) Quansah + Nkunku > TAA + Winks (-4)
    C) Quansah + Nkunku > Robertson/Gvardiol + Miteh (-4)
    D) Quansah + Mykolenko + Nkunku > TAA + Nedeljkovic + Minteh (-8)

Fair point but their opening game v Newcastle was very strange, after Schar was sent off.

I'm not set on it but it's still on my radar. I don't own Salah or Palmer, so the alternative would be Haaland.

Never sure if being on corners is an advantage or not FPL wise. Does anybody elses FPL points expectations drop when they see their attacker walking towards the corner flag rather than being in the box to finish off any chance that arises from the corner, and does anybody know the percentage of assists that come directly from the corner taker?

I feel like you only score once for every 100 corners or something like that - obviously varies by team (Arsenal are really good at them)

Assisting direct from the corner feels something like that but some stats guy will probably prove us wrong. Kane was the one I use to scream get in the box at them most.

          Euro 2016. It was infuriating.

I get that he is quite good at kicking the ball into the box, bit SURELY that squad had some other players who could do that and let Kane try and get on the end of it

Some mids/forwards don’t have much areal threat, so I like the idea of them taking corners. Besides CB’s, defenders taking corners is also a plus

I'm not an expert, but they do play Forest in the league cup tonight so see if/how much he plays tonight? My guess is he probably gets minutes on Saturday as neither Gordon nor Barnes prefer the right side, they shifted Gordon over there when Barnes came on. Hard to be sure, though - Barnes did look good.

    Raya 4.0
    TAA, Robbo, Gvardiol, Saliba
    Saka, Palmer, Salah, Rogers, ESR

Obviously no Haaland, but with a midfield captaincy, and a strong as anything defence/GK, I like the look of the 6.0 fwd rotation scenario

    1. Tonyawesome69
      • 6 Years

Depends how many FTs you had when the game updated to GW3. Essentially WC uses the 1FT given for that GW.

So if you have X FT then played the WC, you will remain on X FT the following GW.

Please note that when playing either a Wildcard or your Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers are maintained for the following Gameweek. If you had 2 saved free transfers, you will still have 2 saved free transfers the Gameweek after playing the chip.

I can keep it relatively simple.

You get one FT per week, unless you play a chip or wildcard, in which case you don't get a FT that week, but your FTs roll over.

Things I've learnt since GW 1

      Raya isn't overpriced
TAA looks back to his best and reservations with slot have gone away
4.5 defenders don't look as enticing as they did in preseason
Greaves and Mosquera are actually viable 4.0 options
Palmer looks like he ll continue producing points even with chelzea in turmoil
Rogers isnt a preseason bandwagon.. he is actually Worth a punt as a 4th mid
Brighton look fantastic and Pedro is a viable option with less de zerbi rotation expected
There is plenty of value at 6.5 and under upfront with wissa and even wolves looking good options

      So yup.. learnt a lot

Also, I would say it'll be easier to save FTs post a WC now. Could potentially remove the risk of early WCing by holding transfers for a few weeks. Note that in my 15 Years of playing ive always WCd post gw15 and ive realised that ever since the 2 WC rule came in it's been a waste keeping the first 1 and even more so now with the 5 ft rule

Not 100% nailed, Saliba is a safer bet.
            - Beginning of last season Arteta benched Gabriel for a few games.
            - Arsenal just signed calafiori for 40m, a lot of money to spend on a bench player.
            - Gabriel also makes mistakes, gave possession away vs Villa and would’ve been a goal if Watkins was more clinical.

Why you being sassy brev?I’d put money on Raya starting more PL games than Gabriel

Looks good, maybe have a plan to bring Arsenal attack for their good run of fixtures after GW5?

Also potential for Raya + Konsa instead of Martinez + Gabriel to save an extra 0.5m

Which of these defensive options would you sacrifice to upgrade a (sub 6m) midfielder/forward if any?

    Raya
    Trent
    Gabriel.

    The team is

    Raya Valdi
    Trent Gabriel Lewis Robinson Greaves
    Salah Palmer ESR Rogers Winks
    Haaland Pedro Wissa

Swap lewis for konsa and then no need for any upgrades since youd have a capable player to rotate into your 11

        I know Lewis is punty.
But I have Robinson as cover (and Greaves heaven forbid)...

FPL is a game of patience, and try not to do more harm than good with your moves.
When you buy a player think also about who you are selling
Last season I kneejerked and went early on WC to get Sterling and Jackson after Chelsea Luton
This was a big mistake I’m not repeating again

I made a mistake with Bruno and Eze over Son and ESR, missed the boat though now, so getting a new boat to better fixtures destination with Palmer and Rogers

After gw1 though both ESR Son looked far away from scoring while your picks were very unlucky, maybe on another day your picks return so this is why you need patience imo
