Sky have gone wall to wall on Amorim today so no press conference times from them yet. The BBC have come up with the goods, though:

    1pm - Lopetegui (WHU)
1.30pm - Cooper (LEI), Nuno (NFO)
    1.45pm - Dyche (EVE)
    3pm - Frank (BRE)
    4.30pm - van Nistelrooy (MUN)

    Times in GMT.

Hurzeler has already been up this morning, too.

Salah potentially may not get called up to Egypt due to already securing AFCON qualification.

This would be ideal for Southampton GW12 after IB.

Nothing official as Egypt haven't announced squad yet but it has apparently been suggested by a few Egyptian news outlets

If this was your team, would you wildcard?
(My WC team would have Salah instead if Haaland)

    Raya
    Lewis Gabriel Porro Robinson
    Son Johnson Mbeumo Palmer
    Wood Haaland

    Valdimarsson Rogers Harwood Pedro

I did -4 haaland to cunha , semenyo to salah ... with all the injures man city have and after watching man city play Southampton I'm happy to get rid but I understand it's extremely risky and with -4 it's a hell of a gamble

    Play one:

    A. Robinson (BRE - Home)
    B. Faes (IPS - Away)

  7. abaalan

    A. Semenyo + Robertson + solanke -> Saka + mykolenko + Cunha
    B. Semenyo + Robertson + solanke + Madison -> Salah + mykolenko + Cunha + matheus Nunez -4
    C. Semenyo + Robertson + Gabriel -> saka + mykolenko + Lewis ( or other 9.7 combination of defenders)

    Any thoughts?

    1. Captain Mal

Definitely not B, getting a - 4 for a player such as Nunez is a rather unnecessary risk.
Assuming Gabriel is healthy, I wouldn't do C either.
      A looks good.

    Current Team:

    Raya
    Gabriel, Ait Nouri, Robinson
    Salah, Palmer, ESR, McNeil, Mbuemo,
    Haaland, DCL,

Lis, Faes, Harwood B, N Fraser

Was planning on WCing in GW12, however, I've just done a mock up WC for this week and now I'm really tempted to play it now. This is the mock up...

    Raya,
    Ait Nouri, Gvardiol*, Aina
    Salah, Saka, Palmer, Mbuemo,
    Cunha, Jackson, Jiminez

    Fabianski, Garnacho, Dalot, Faes

    Thoughts? Would you do it?

Just noticed a Liverpool - Arsenal EFL Cup Final will put the cat amongst the pigeons in FPL as it would mean Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Villa all blanking the weekend of the cup final (GW29 I think). Obviously they would create doubles somewhere.

Move to 33 (likely) or 36

Yeah the double bit obviously would be great but piecing a team together for the blank could be interesting (if it happens)

How's the fixture run for those teams in that scenario? Difficult to sell and dead-end team before WC30 or likely have to FH29

          1. Tommy Template
            • 11 Years
            1 year, 1 month ago

I'd be leaning towards FH29 which would still have a decent fixture Man City at home to Brighton. Spurs have Fulham away which is ok. Man Utd play Leicester if they are looking viable then. I'd imagine in the scenario I mentioned which is probably the most likely of the final matchups draw permitting there'll be too many to get rid of to dead end it.

I'm priced out of Wissa after his price rise :/

    Which combo is better?

    A) Cunha + Dibling
    B) Strand Larsen + Rogers

The 2nd one is 8th attacker and likely benched for the next 4 weeks.

    1. Captain Mal
      • 1 Year
      1 year, 1 month ago

Will you have any free transfers after that? Cunha is the best of the bunch, but if one of your other attackers suddenly becomes unavailable having to play Dibling isn't ideal and you might need a transfer in that case.

      1. Camzy
        • Fantasy Football Scout Member

No I wouldn't. I would even have to take a hit if I wanted to do Rogers > Saka.

        1. Captain Mal
          • 1 Year
          1 year, 1 month ago

Then it depends on whether you are ready to play Dibling if things go wrong. The upside of Cunha is probably worth it, but you are taking a risk.

Being a normally very patient manager I welcomed the new ability to store up to 5 FTs.
However in reality I find I am now less engaged with the game and missing info, resulting in my worst start in years (and WAY down in my main money league)

    Anyone else feeling the same?

4 FT & 0.4m ITB - How would you turn this team into a 3-4-3?

    Sanchez
    TAA - Porro - Lewis - Konsa
    Salah - Mbuemo - Johnson
    Haaland - Havertz - Welbeck

    Fabianski - Keane - Onana - Winks

Possibly shifting for Son - see below. Pool's fixtures aren't amazing so I think you can go without pool cover. Salah keeps ticking over but 12.5m is v expensive
