I know he pulled out of the Denmark u21 squad with a small injury but surely it's gonna happen soon right?

I hope so - last season Sanchez got injured & Chelsea look better at the back with Petrovic
who I felt played well & should have had a chance to keep the no1 shirt not go on loan

Is there a German compound word for the feeling of envy and despair you get when seeing people on a wildcard after you've spunked yours away already for nothing?

Once international break completed then go with choices

On paper would go for Son to Saka

Shame as could not go for Rodgers for Bruno 8.4m

(Raul I would pause as Fulham on a good run with a draw & two wins)

I would possible miss Jackson if needing to sell Raul & then go for
Joao Pedro once confirmed starting each week

    TAA out for ?

    A) Gabriel
    B) VVD

My GK is Raya so if I go Gabriel it would mean a double up on Arsenal defence.

Similar dilemma to me. I think while you don’t need to WC probably best time to restructure - no Arsenal defender would concern me given their fixtures now improve and Wood probably time to go as other than Ipswich fixtures not so good for Forest.

Same sentiments. Probably a good time to WC as the fixtures start to get better for some of the other premiums like Palmer, Saka etc..

I think there isn't any other better time to lose Haaland with the tough upcoming matches and upgrade elsewhere and get him in later. That five-mium mid is so tempting lol.

Two questions. On FPL wire they mentioned Strand Larsen might be injured. Had no idea, does anyone know?

Also, is Saka the only player who has gotten increasingly more points in every season he's been in FPL? It's quite incredible, 6 years on the bounce. However, doubt he'll break 220 points this season.

Yeah, I'm not overly concerned about the yellow cards. Just that Isak is on pens and talisman of the team so unlikely to get a rest. Fixtures are fairly similar. I do already have Palmer.

I originally was thinking of Jackson but I've gone with Isak instead. Just think he's more talismanic, on pens, has better FPL pedigree imo and when it's a close call or toss up between 2 players, the YC situation does sway me a bit.

      - injured 9 mins in his debut against Crawley Town in EFL
      - just back from 2-3 month injury and played 43 mins including ET.

Not sure why you think folks are overlooking or overestimating O'Riley as a pick.

I think it's just too early to tell. He could be great, but it's a clear wait and see for me. There's a lot of risk and a lot of unknowns around him and mid slots are too valuable

Am I crazy for considering Estupinan with these juicy fixtures?

He's not nailed so yeah. Probably safer to go with Van Hecke.

No could be great option if Kadioglu out for any length of time

I am thinking of him in my current WC draft. Really good fixtures and he has good attacking potential. I'm not fully up to speed on Brighton this year though and I'm not sure if he's nailed or not

    Peferred option on WC?

A Cunha ( Konate in defence)
B Jackson ( Kerkez in defence)

Konate is better than Kerkez, arguably much better.
Cunha could match Jackson from now until GW17, but he becomes significantly less appealing after that, while Jackson remains a top choice until at least GW22.

Yeah Mykolenko is out of my team in GW15. Best option is Hall imo.

When did Lewis Hall become a bps monster?

I think it started a couple of seasons ago when Chelsea lost 4-1 to Man Utd yet somehow Hall came away with bonus points despite Chelsea conceding 4 times and he wasn't even involved in their only goal

So... a number of transfers desired (required..), but only one FT. Leaning towards rolling for a double move next gw. What to prioritise?

    A) Flekken
    B) Lewis
    C) McNeil (upgrade to 10.5 - 11m possible)
    D) Solanke
    E) Roll

Team is as follows, currently with 5.8m ITB:

    Flekken - (Valdimarsson)
    Lewis - Gabriel - Aït-Nouri - (Mykolenko) - (Greaves)
    Rogers - McNeil - Mbeumo - Salah - Palmer
    Havertz - Evanilson - (Solanke)

    1. Captain Mal
      • 1 Year
      1 year, 18 days ago

Flekken is the least important problem.
Lewis needs to go soon, playing Mykolenko could be an option for this GW, as Brentford are terrible away from home, but he is another sell, Everton's upcoming fixtures are tough.
McNeil to Saka or Bruno would be reasonable.
Solanke to Jackson or Isak is also sensible.
If you choose Bruno, I would prioritise that move. If you prefer Saka, that can wait so I would do the striker move first.

I feel like Raya or Onana are the best gk on a WC. Brighton and Chelsea defence is shocking look at their xGC...

They have both conceded a few penalties which in a short spell of games skews the data slightly but it is relevant as Chelsea in particular seem to do stupid things around those penalties.

If xGC is your argument, then you should know United are worse than Chelsea in that department - and that's without playing against Arsenal and City, as Chelsea have.

Sorry, meant it as a reply to the above post.

United infamously had a terrible xgc last season too but the common theme is they have a keeper performing above expected in both seasons and Chelsea have a very average keeper

I agree Onana is better than Sanchez, both FPL wise and actual football wise, my objection was using xGC as an argument.
