    On WC:
    A. Saka + Semenyo
    B. Bruno + Mbeumo

(If do A, then could switch to B in a few weeks, but books in 2 transfers)

But that's the choice you get too.

Martenelli and Bruno could work but budget still makes a difference in this game, even without Haaland.

hi guys is it worth a -4 for konate/vvd or just play lewis/greaves

    1. Dutchy FPL
      • 2 Years
      1 year, 2 months ago

For a -4 I would take the gamble on Lewis. Could play and return. Could be benched also. But if benched than you still need a CS or attacking return from Konate / VVD to earn the -4 back. Longer term I think the Pool defence is better and you could see the -4 as a small investment.

So Neto suddenly is a great differential now? Yes he played three games 90 mins, scored and assisted. But, there is still the likes of Nkunku, Madueke, Mudryk and Sancho. Great player, so short term maybe, but not an option long term for me.

I nearly took a punt on him in draft, but then remembered Sancho only missed out due to ineligibility (v parent club) & a knock, right? So I don't really know who is first choice there

Need to urgently bring in Salah this gw as I’m dropping like a stone. What to do… 1FT and 0.6 itb. Wc already used… over to the hive mind

    Sanchez
    Gabriel, RAN, TAA (Lewis, Greaves)
    Mbuemo, Palmer, Semenyo, Rogers, Johnson
    Haaland, Solanke, Wood

Probably have to accept my first hit of season here

Not a fan personally, given you are heading into a busy december with many fixtures. Potential injuries on the card with that bench is not a good idea.

Is that a WC? Core is good but think your bench is a bit light e.g. not a given Fab remains first choice. I'd consider dropping Mbeumo or having Havertz over Saka (remember Kai was great at start of season when Odegaard was there)

Haaland and Salah means so many compromises and a team with these that with the best will in the world are not the best to rely on over a winter period … Fabianski
Hall Ait Nouri Van Den Berg Virginia, Dunk, Archer, O’Shea

This week I am at the mercy of injury news, what is the consensus…. Big at the back or big up top?

    Raya*
    Gabriel* Hall* RAN Myko 4.0
    Salah Semenyo Rogers Palmer Mbeumo
    Haaland Raul JSL

    Or

    Flekken
    Anderson* Hall* RAN Myko 4.0
    Salah Semenyo Rogers Palmer Mbeumo
    Haaland Isak* Raul

Ultimately it’s do I use my 3 free transfers to beef up the defence or cheapen it and get Isak up top…

    Flekken Anderson Hall Isak
Raya Gabriel Hall Semenyo (I’d bench JSL)

    1. HelmutCool
      • 3 Years

Am a bit biased as I went big up top. Perhaps its the wrong call and prime defenders finally start hauling regular clean sheets. Hasnt been the case so far.

      1. The Iceman
        • 3 Years

I would try and fit in at least one premium defender i.e. Gabriel. Allows for more flexibility in case he starts racking up the points again.

I was planning on Trent > Gabriel and realised it blocks me getting Saka (own Raya + Havertz.

Should I do Trent > Konate/Ait-Nouri instead which enables Mbeumo > Saka?

Or get Gabriel and lose Havertz for Isak?

    1. The Iceman
      • 3 Years

Both options are viable. Depends how much you want Saka, but I prefer Isak to Havertz over the next few.

Good morning all. How are these moves for a -4? Leaves 0.1 ITB.

    1) TAA > Hall
    2) Lewis > Andersen
    3) Johnson > Palmer
    4) Wood > Joao Pedro

Please note I have no other route to Palmer without losing Haaland...

I'm getting both and binning Trent / Lewis 🙂
Andersen could be any other DEF up to 4.4, but with Kerkez currently an injury doubt I think Andersen makes the most sense, plus he rotates really well with Hall fixture wise.

As I am waiting for Artetas lying in the presser again am concidering between two options
Kerkez + Saka (both still flagged)

Who have you gone for in goal? I'm also on WC and feels like Gabriel is a bit of a no-brainer, especially if you don't have Raya. I would steer clear of Odegaard unless you have a lot of patience, from experience his points are very unpredictable

Same issue with Diaz and he played more mins than Nunez over IB

          Darwin Nunez – Uruguay – 90 + 45 = 135

          Luis Diaz – Colombia – 90 + 90 = 180
