    2 FT 0.3 ITB

Haaland Mcneil Hall Gvardiol to Jackson Saka Gabriel VVD (-8) ?

I gave too much trust and time to the City assests. Better late than never I guess. Even if Haaland scores a hattie I think I should do the transfers

    Flekken
    Gvardiol Noury Hall
    Salah Palmer Mbeumo Mcneil
    Haaland Cunha Joao Pedro

Hopefully it is just a bit of good humoured scaremongering by Neale... Dropping a grenade into the predicted line ups after a few Newcastle brown ales. Emma Jump the wave has him at 90%, her Chelsea correspondent is starting him as is the football London journalists.

2.4m itb (Haaland cash to spread around), so considering ESR or Rogers > Bowen before he hauls and bandwagon really starts.

Rules me out of upgrading a defender to TAA though (ESR>Bowen does allow me funds to do VDB > Virgil)

Probably best to Hold FT and have 2FT next week.

A public campaign that is urging support and tolerance of s community who face persecution and violence directed towards them on a daily basis.... but some don't support that message. How is that not preaching hate? Your saying- through your silence- that you are OK with that happening to them and excluding them from society.

The armbands doesn't represent equal right for all just like an armband saying" Jesus loves u" does not represent what it says literally and we both know that

This is purely virtue signalling and this culture needs to end.Do as you're told or you'll be bullied into doing as your told. That's just not on and to disguise that in the name of tolerance makes it worse

Nothing against LGBTQ community or Christians but can't have people forcing me to wear any of the two

The players literally do have freedom to decide, nobody's being punished for not wearing the armband, like you seem to think. Using the phrase "virtue signalling" is an automatic red flag and probably features heavily on page 1 of the "anti-woke" right-wing manifesto, so let's just call it a day.

                    Mookie, that would be contradictory.

One suggestion follows on from the point that as captain, you represent the club and it is not a purely personal position, and it involves a choice. If you don't feel you can support these initiatives as captain on behalf of the club, resign from the captaincy.

Saying "I love Jesus" (another man) and being comfortable that a bearded, semi-naked man in the sky is watching you 24/7, while you shower etc., is probably about as g a y as it gets tbh.

It’s intriguing to see & read all the uproar this is generating.
Writing “Jesus loves U” on the rainbow band is the best balance there can be. Because the guy is also affirming his conviction that “Jesus loves everyone without discrimination”.
How on earth does that promote hate & discrimination??

      1. x.jim.x

This is what his dad said about it:

“Marc said ‘Yes’ and did the right thing by wearing it but people are having a go at him for what he wrote, he accepted to wear the armband, he was just trying to balance the message. He was saying: ‘You gave me the armband, as a Christian I don’t believe in your cause, but I will put it on”

He clearly wasn't saying "Jesus loves everyone without discrimination" - if it was a positive message, I'm sure he would have done a statement after the first game. Seems like a "I don't agree but my boss made me do it" message to me.

So why isn't he writing "Jesus loves U" on the regular captain armband every game then?

What are Proud and Palace fans supposed to think about the message? That the absolute bare minimum requirement of wearing a different armband for two games (which 90% of club captains managed) had to be hijacked by Guehi, who can only support the cause of those fans as long as he gets to add the tacit caveat that they are an abomination to his God?

Bar any injuries to Salah, Palmer, Saka, I'm not sure if Haaland will be worth it in gw18

-Fixtures are still good for the other premiums
-City will bounce back but are not the same dominant team as they were with Rodri
-They have another fixture swing in gw 23, so basically means a total rebuild of the team for 5-6 gameweeks

cheap defense and 5th mid. No room to upgrade them, but can swap to other options in same price bracket based on fixtures/form.

          Fabianski
          Gomez, Nouri, Young, Moreno, Greaves
          Semenyo, Enzo
          Wissa

Can see replacements for all currently, so next few weeks shouldnt be an issue I guess.

Defence is a mess - Who to sell for Timber/Colwill?

    a) L. Davis
    b) Greaves
    c) Hall
    d) Ait- Nouri

I'm thinking one of the IPS boys and prob L. Davis to save funds and leave Greaves on the bench as much as possible

If you are planning no Haaland forever in 2024-2025 then sell Davis and Greaves. Hall is perfectly fine as 5th defender at 4.3m as a more robust rotatable option.

I quite fancy doing a second team in a league where everyone does -56 a week to see who wins. planet FPL have second teams in their own league for that. basically have to make 15 transfers a week and see who wins. It helps get rid of transfer urges in your actual team sometimes to have a second team where you can be more blaizé with how you play the game.

69.86% of the top 100k now own the Midfield trio of Saka + Palmer + Salah

That same combination was ~37% owned last round

I want to know one thing on this.

Rise in ownership from 37% to 69.86% doesnt really mean transfers were used to get this trio, right? Could just be that those who had this trio outside top 100k are now in the top 100k due to green arrows? (broadly speaking)

Yeah tbh Jackson is more of a long-term transfer.. but there is a world in which he doesn't start (sou), starts and gets booked against (tot)- it is likely to be a fiesty game- and is suspended for (BRE).

So, I hope he starts tonight.

true that is correct but i dont see a world hunger month/day - it seems we only care for the things that affect us. Examples below:

the issue I have with this is that certain players like James McClean, Sam Morsy and many more in and outside of football are being witch hunted for having beliefs that go against the mass social media machine and that is far more dangerous.
Furthermore surely someones identity is more than who they choose as their partner?

In any case the art of debate is not our point of discussion here

I'd love to know if you're a troll or just a self centered bollock. I assume it's the latter which is why I'll try and explain this.

You see the issue here is that you've inserted yourself as the main person in this topic, because you're selfish, but this actually has nothing to do with you and no effect on your life. Stuff like this could have a really positive impact on a kid who is struggling to get to grips with who they are and where they fit in the world. The rainbow laces aren't a message from Ramsdale to you, it's a message from him to people who might be struggling, to let them know he is with them and that they should be comfortable with who they are.

okay let me explain it simply to you:

who you are is not who you love

Wait - are you saying you have no one to talk to about this issue and yet are putting yourself forward as an authority on the subject? What kind of foolishness is this?

Imagine being triggered by a rainbow armband or displays of support for people who suffer bigotry. What’s that quote about evil happens when good people do nothing? You’re actually doing more than nothing - arguing against supporting people who need it.

please re-read your comment - "evil happens when good people do nothing" you then follow it by saying "You’re actually doing more than nothing"
so am i doing something or doing nothing? whats the story here.
I still fail to see any valid argument from you. You keep saying speak to such and such. A few people I know actually hate the whole concept of a whole month focused on the topic.
As Morgan Freeman stated - the way you stop racism is you just stop talking about it being an issue - he said are you really going to relegate my whole history to a month? in our case a pair of laces you wear on your feet?

Tazah you're clearly out of your depth here. As much as Im against attacking people for choosing nor to wear the armbands, couldn't disagree with u more

It's not about who they're sleeping with it's about not being hunted down or getting opportunities taken away to from you for that and that's putting it mildly.

Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.

We are all dealt a different set of cards at birth... many people have been declined from jobs/universities/partners for one reason or another, despite what people around them may say about it being unfair/racism/prejudice at the end of the day we know they werent up to the standard. The sooner people face that reality the better.

You need to be so good they cant say no to you. That is the world we live in

So if u were living in South Africa a few decades ago, u would have been against ending apartheid? Cuz oh well those who are born black are just dealt a bad hand there. They Might as well just accept their luck instead of appealing for Equal treatment

What a ridiculous thing to say

To this day unequal treatment exists in South Africa, racism exists in America, slavery exists in Asia.

You can not change the mindset of the people around you. If youre in an alleyway in London youre not going to sit there and reason with the thugs.

Lets face it, most people dont care if someone is gay/straight/bi but it feels so forced right now and its pushing people against it - the same is with feminism

He just uses other people's quotes to make himself seem clever when all he's done is shown how small-minded he really is.

I think the Premier League should celebrate Lonely Bro month and have INCEL in large letters on the captain's armband to show support for their struggle.

Tazah your ignorance is astounding. If a group of people are threatened, discriminated against and suffer violence every day then doing nothing is the equivalent of letting them suffer and supporting the violence. Showing outward support towards them is the closest thing to showing balance. You're still not helping them in any way but at least you're saying I see your suffering and I don't support it. Club captains are a disgrace if they can't even manage to come to terms with this simple message.
