      I wouldn't sell Trent

In your position I'd probably do Jackson & Cunha > Isak & Wood

That said I have Jackson and think he's great, but triple Chelsea (which I also have) feels a lot

      1. Flynny

Feels tricky.....Don't want to lose trent. Especially with the dgw not far off.

Jackson feels a solid pick- but 3 x chelsea might be overkill especially v everton

Don't want soucek....kinda tempted by hojlund over wood, especially if hojlund doesn't start the cup match on thurs....difficult

If Wolves appeal, will Cunha be available for Leicester?

Makes sense to appeal if that's the case. They have to beat Leicester!

And no, I don't actually think there's much grounds on which to appeal! 😆

Am I right that if Wolves appeal there's a risk the ban actually increases? On one hand would make sense for Wolves to delay to get Cunha for this weekend's six pointer, but I seem to remember that might mean the ban is longer if they lose (and I don't really see on what grounds they can appeal here)

Second time you've said this without any evidence - could very well be a much bigger ban considering the incidence was off the pitch and involved a non-player.

I think it'll be more than 3. What he did (not the glasses bit) was significant as violent conduct goes and it was to a member of staff not a player

I agree that it would be pointless and counterproductive appealing, so Wolves will probably take whatever the FA dishes out. I have him and am poised to sell, but so long as his price holds, i'll wait. Still undecided who to go for - Jimi, Woody or Wissy.

    A) Cunha > Jackson/Isak, Watkins > Vardy/Wood, RAN > Any DEF (-8)
    B) Cunha > Wood / Vardy, RAN > Any 4.6 or less DEF (-4)
    C) Cunha > Wood/Vardy. Hope I can field 11 players (FT)

Can only make changes to the team during predetermined windows every 4-5 gameweeks (usually int breaks). No captain changes, no transfers, no swapping your bench around even if there's a juicy fixture sitting there. Basically a mini wildcard every time then sit and do nothing until the next one rolls round.

Got sick of FPL. Took a season off last year and enjoyed it. Thought this was a good way to dip back in (especially with the banking of 5 transfers rule). Can't see myself playing any other way ever again. Esp if my rank holds (it won't).

Evil part of me says yes, neato, go Pedro - Raul bc I want green arrows. The light part says no never no way since Pedro meets the convenient sequence of appropriate teams while I've just got rid of Raul and am incredibly happy bc all that Fulham's ST can do is catching top teams on counter-attacks and nothing else.

I’m already on a -4 but my defence right now is: Gabriel, Dalot, Munoz, RAN, Faes

RAN and Munoz are red flagged and Faes is barely getting minutes. Should I consider a -8 to replace RAN for Robinson / Hall or just have two defenders play potentially?

    1. Conners
      • 6 Years

Robinson at home vs SOU should be a banker you'd think.

Even so, it's only a 2pt gain best case scenario (with no bonus).

Agreed, which makes me apprehensive. But then I also want to just do it and get done with RAN...who has to move out at some point. Knees are jerking (that's why I'm on a -4 which could have waited)

Some players are mocked for scoring goals through penalties, but aren't penalties harder to convert than simple tap-ins?

    2. Tommy Template

Depends. Penalties have become easier to score than they used to be, part because players are better at them and part because post-VAR keepers can't get away with breaking the rules. Players who have pens and get a few (Palmer) will almost cetainly outperform their XG over a season as hes expected to miss 1 in 5 of them and he doesn't. Tap ins can be deceptive, was the cross fired in at pace, did it bobble or deflect, wrong foot etc the XG on those can be misleading. Penalties the ball is stationary and you can take your time.

Forest often concede 2/3 away along with Brentford’s home form, should be a haul

Forest's away games this season so far could hardly have been harder: mun, mcy, ars, lei, che, bha, liv, sou

Just lei and sou who they both beat including a CS vs sou. I think they'll do fine. And I don't expect a huge haul from Mbeumo.

    Raya ( Fab )
Lewis Virgil Kerkez ( VDB / RAN* )
Palmer Saka Salah Mbuemo ( Rogers )
    JP Jackson Delap

    1 FT / 1.3 ITB

Delap & RAN suspended GW17, but was thinking of keeping RAN on bench after he comes back.

    Confused between :

    A ) Delap & Mbeumo >> Isak & Amad -4
B ) Virgil, Rogers, Delap >> Milenkovic, Amad, Isak -8
    C ) Rogers > Amad for free

Please help, my rank is stinking in 3M!

Think I would just roll & play Rogers. Don't really like the idea keeping RAN with those fixtures coming up given you'll need him to cover Lewis / rotate with Kerkez at some point

It's not close. Wood. He has the safest mins and best fixtures.

I feel like there are so few choices up front.

Isak is a must-own basically. Wood just makes sense as the Cunha replacement because of safety of mins and decent fixtures. And the last slot most people can't afford Jackson since there is a move back to a heavier defense.

That leaves a cohort of Jimenez, Evanilson, Wissa, Strand Larsen and Pedro. None of which look particularly good.

Narrative flipped on its head from 4 weeks ago. All of those were considered good options (and Isak wasn't!).

Wissa and Wood the standouts for me. I probably would have punted on Hojlund if I hadn't already swooped for Amad.

    A) KDB + Cunha to Bruno + Isak (-4)
    B) Cunha to Wood
    C) Cunha to Jimenez

    Sanchez
    Gabriel Hall Lewis
    Salah Palmer Saka KDB
    Cunha Wissa Pedro

    Fabianski Semenyo Mykolenko Huijsen

The ban for RAN plus the potential ban for Cunha
Have come at just the right time for me as I was planning to offload after the Leicester game anyway
Really bad run of fixtures 18-25
RAN & Cunha to Isak & Gabriel (back just in time) done last night
