    B Good moves

    Salah Palmer Bruno Gordon Sarr
    Isak Pedro

    Fabianski Raúl Castagne Mykolenko

I like the Bruno move this week but the other two could easily backfire. Hold, IMO.

Knee jerky. All good players are scoring pts this season. Will probably be Rogers, Jesus, and Jackson's turn to score in gw 21.

What’s the best option here lads?

    A) Semenyo > Amad, bench Wood
    B) Play Wood, bench Semenyo, keep FT

Secondly, keep Jackson for the next two games?

    1) Yes
    2) No, sell

Hey guys, just some early thoughts here for next gameweek.

    Raya
    Gabriel - Konsa - TAA
    Rogers - Palmer - Salah - Gordon
    Jackson - Isak - Wood
    _______________________________
    Fabianski: Enzo: Lewis: Huijsen

    A) Enzo > Amad (Bench Wood)
    B) Enzo + Raya > Bruno + Henderson -4
    C) Something else
    D) Roll

Right now, I’m in favour of doing option B for exact funds.
Enzo is dropping, and I’ve frankly had enough of Raya, big waste of funds.
This allows me to keep TAA for Pool’s double GW, and can then downgrade Bruno > Mbuemo on GW 23/24
Not entirely mad about it, but it’s where I’m leaning and makes sense?

    Opinions most welcome gents, thanks.

Cheers bud, this is what I mean, he could haul massively! Then again so could Amad, at least with Bruno you just have more certainty with things.

My first Wildcard was a disaster, but the second one went rather well.
87 points, and up 600k places to 2.4m.

The only roughs were Trent and Gabriel blanking and leaving Raul Jimenez on the bench.

Rough: Sold Pedro and benched Amad
Smooth: Turns out owning Mbuemo was a big differential in my ML

      74 pts, happy enough

      The rough:
      - Started well outside of 4 mil and even though I had a nice green, still ended up barely inside 4 mil.
      - Robinson cost me -4 and gave me 1 point.
      - Should have captained Mbeumo instead of Salah (actually considered it for a minute).

      The smooth:
      - 85 (-4) with eight hauls of 6 or more (two Robbos and Gabriel my only blanks).
      - Benched Trossard for Murillo last minute.

79 points this week without Mbeumo.

      Big win overall.

Smooth: VdB, Amad, Forest boys coming in with big returns. Liverpool-United game wasn't postponed or else I'd have been down to 9 players.
Rough: Got fed up with Solanke a week too early. Did Solanke > Jesus as my 2nd FT.

average score and slight green, won’t complain

In the top 1 million, not only do I have no clones, but no teams have 8, 9, or 10 players in common with me either. Food for thought for those that say the game is too template/boring, or you can’t make decent gains, seemingly every other week.

Rough, all rough: first red arrow after 12 greens on the bounce. Heavy reliance on Liverpool and Arsenal cost me. Won't happen every GW; I'll take it.

    11. Salarrivederci
      • 9 Years

      Rough:
Had Haaland (C) in GW19 so Salah (C) in GW20 is a rough!
Coady, Sanchez, Robinson and Hall with blanks, but that is it really.

      Smooth:
Up to 400 and Haaland, Kerkez, Wood, Eze chipped in nicely!
Isak, Palmer & Salah (C) got returns for every man and his dog too.
Survived the GW with Fabi0nski, Timb0r, R0gers and Ch0udhury on the bench also feels like a smooth.

Smooth: Wood scored and Aina got a clean sheet to keep me in LMS by the skin of my teeth

6 red arrows in the last 7 weeks, I need to take action!

Let’s be real, last weeks points is still the main driver for even the most not-casual player doing all the research into xGs and whatever.

See how people have fallen in and out and back in love with Rogers. Or how people are going Eze over Sarr again. Or how the most popular Forest defender has cycled between Aina and Milenkovic depending on who got the most recent attacking return. And so on

    WC team:

    Fabianski | Henderson
    Robinson | Hall | Young | Munoz | Greaves
    Salah | Palmer | Gordon | Amad | Dibling
Haaland | Delap | Strand Larsen

Planning on holding off transfers barring injuries until about GW25.

    Benching:
GW21: Hendo, Strand Larsen, Dibling, Greaves
GW22: Fab, Strand Larsen, Young, Greaves
GW23: Fab, Strand Larsen, Delap, Greaves
GW24: Fab, Strand Larsen, Munoz, Robinson
    GW25: Hendo, Amad, Hall, Greaves

    Thinking out loud here:

    - Hendo does have decent fixtures, so I could get Valdi back in and set-and-forget, saving 0.2, but it leaves me needing (potentially) to burn a transfer on a keeper starting in GW29 when Palace's fixtures get dicey.
    - I'm benching Strand Larsen four out of five GWs. Worth dropping to a 4.5 (Armstrong?) and upgrading elsewhere?
    - It looks like I'm actually playing Dibling four times. Might have just answered my own question. Rogers (back) in?

    Anything else stand out?

    1. Drop Dead Tsimikas
      • 14 Years

Another option that just occurred to me would be dropping Hendo to Dubravka and either keeping Fab or dropping down to Valdi if I need more funds.

    1. Drop Dead Tsimikas

Assuming you were replying to me above, I just worked it out:

      Dubravka | Stolarczyk
      Milenkovic | Young | Hall | Robinson | Greaves
      Salah | Palmer | Gordon | Sarr | Amad
      Haaland | Delap | Stewart

Milenkovic can drop to Neco or Murillo if I want to make any changes, but I really wanted a CP asset for the next four or five and Sarr looks the better option than defense.

I would probably wait as long as possible and try to make out if Havertz is likely to start. If not, yeah Raul is a decent shout. Also frees up money.

Given all the BeNcHiNg HeAdAcHeS, anyone tempted by a bench boost? And if so, what’s your bench like?

Got Sels/Rogers/TAA/Castagne as current bench and thinking about it

Oft thats a nice bench, suppose if you’re not planing on doing it in a DGW with other chips available its worth a punt

I would have this week past if not for Fabs*/Rogers*. This week the fixtures don't suit a BB, may wait for a dgw.

Would think so. Has started every match in Tete’s position since the injury

    Raya
    Gabriel Robinson Colwill Munoz VDB
    Gordon Bruno Rogers Palmer Salah

Best option here? 1 FT, 0.5 itb.

    A. Watkins+ Sarr >Jesus/Wood+ Bruno for -4 hit
    B. Sarr to Savinho/Gibbs White
    C. Save FT, play Pedro over Sarr1

    Flekken
    Gabriel Hall Robinson
    Salah Palmer Gordon Mbeumo Sarr
    Isak Watkins

    Valdi Pedro Kerkez Greaves

C but not really sure on benching Sarr

So you would bench Pedro instead of Sarr ? Pedro is on pens as well .

Could even bench Watkins against a Everton who will likely sit deep

Most probably won't be benching Watkins as he is on pens as well. High chance Pedro or Sarr would have to sit out .

Anything could happen and it’s absolutely nothing worth panicking about. Celebrate good weeks and celebrate others’ good weeks when you have a stinker.

My FPL Wizards, wanted to get your wisdom and thoughts on NF! I know they're on a terrific run and are defensively solid, however I was just looking at last night's stats and they were lower on shots, possession and key passes. They also only had 3 shots on target which led to 3 goals. Feels like a big part of their success has boiled down to luck.

However, I didn't watch the game, which is important as it gives a whole different dimension to the analysis. How did Forest look? Are they on track to winning more games or is luck gonna run out for them, especially Wood?

    Looking forward to your views!

Missed the Forrest train myself, interested to see responses

I watched most of the game. They looked sharp offensively - moving the ball quickly and with confidence. Wood at the moment is just incredibly clinical.

Defensively, I was surprised that they didn't look more solid, given that they've conceded so few goals and were playing a Wolves team without Cunha; but on the other hand, they made a lot of high quality last-ditch tackles or blocks.

Overall, they remind me of Leicester in the season they won the title. I doubt they'll win it; but Leicester showed that a counter-attacking team who are confident and defensively strong can surprise everyone, even over the course of a whole season. No idea if it continues for Forest; but watching them made me want to own their players for as long as this run lasts...

Also should have said that Sels bailed them out defensively several times - he made some really good saves

Not luck, but deadly effective counters doomed Wolves...Forest and Nuno are on to something with his system and its working...they have some speed merchants who are helping with this strategem too.

So the max manager price is 1.5 mil? That's a relief, I was expecting someone like Slot to be around 8 mil

Do they take a striker spot? Or just use budget and ft?
