Round four of our latest FFS Members Cup takes place in Blank Gameweek 34, where 32 remaining Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers are competing for a £300 prize fund.

A tournament for Premium Members, this is independent of those you can see on the official FPL website.

We’ll bring you the latest results in this article, plus the second-round draw, with a full breakdown of prizes towards the bottom.

FFS MEMBERS CUP

A complete list of round three results

The highest-ranked manager heading into Double Gameweek 33 was also one of its unluckiest losers. 83 points helped CasaBanter rise from 258th to 181st in the world standings but – while J Aravind (63 points) and CathyM (64) progressed – he came up short against glennloite‘s huge tally of 106.

Such a Bench Boost included successful Arsenal duo Leandro Trossard and Jakub Kiwior, yet Si incredibly went one better by captaining the Belgian’s week-high 24 points. Also an owner of Ryan Sessegnon, this team accumulated a whopping 119 points.

TD Jakes (4,130th) is now the highest remaining manager after defeating Cornish Pasty Man 74-67. And the lowest-ranked, schnuggi (4,308458th), was another to benefit from Trossard during the 94-62 win over Kezzy.

Looking ahead, the round of 32 should involve a lot of Free Hit chips. A template will likely be established before the deadline, leading to close contests and an increased desire to find that mega-differential which beats the opponent.

Based on the low combined positions of both competitors, the crunch clash pits Crispo (57,141st) against Robben Me Blind (72,113rd).

The full fourth-round draw is available here

HOW DO THE CUP COMPETITIONS WORK?

The FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own cup game.

Entrants who qualify for the first round were randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores).

In the event of a draw, the manager highest in the overall FPL rankings after the tie will progress.

WHAT IS THE GAMEWEEK SCHEDULE?

Both these cup competitions will be played out according to the following proposed Gameweek schedule, though this could be subject to change.

Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup Round Dates

  • Qualifying – Gameweek 30
  • Round 1 – Gameweek 31
  • Round 2 – Gameweek 32
  • Round 3 – Gameweek 33
  • Round 4 – Gameweek 34
  • Round 5 – Gameweek 35
  • Quarter-Final – Gameweek 36
  • Semi-Finals – Gameweek 37
  • Final and third place play-off – Gameweek 38

WHEN ARE THE FIXTURES RELEASED?

Where possible, the fixture list for each round will be published before each Gameweek deadline.

Has anyone using Free Hit thought about All Out Attack for New Castle and playing Isak, Murphy and Barnes?

Some are, but they are nervous about Gordon. And I think they should be. I find it hard not to see Gordon starting.

Why would the manager mess would with a good thing right now with the roll Barnes is on?

Newcastle just got spanked. Gordon is one of their best players. This would be what, the 4th game Gordon is benched? I think Murphy makes may and Barnes goes on the right.

Hopefully I am wrong, I own the triple up you mentioned.

I honestly have no informed opinion on this as I really don't know anything about Wolves other than Cunha is a great, but temperamental, player but I have seen a few mention it so not sure what to do

No idea, but maybe you will find something out.

80% of free hit teams have Cunha, so I guess most people think he starts.

A lot of people thought Joao Pedro was a non-negotiable, must-buy player earlier in the season too and look what happened there. Even so, currently toying with RAN, Cunha and Evanilson for a -4 but I am not sure if the -4 is worth it or not as I probably won't play Evanilson until Leicester for the last game of the season and both he and Cunha would need to score each to make it worth it.

            1. have you seen cyan
              • 6 Years

That Evan move is very risky then, it would super annoying if Evan got injured the week you want him. This week we are against a lot of free hit teams, it would be sensible to avoid a hit if you can.

Yeah this is prudent. I need to decide if it is two strikers or a striker and a defender then. Could be RAN and Cunha/Evanilson/Wood. I am not as convinced that United won't score as others seem to be. They may get a pen. COULD do Kiuvert I suppose, but same thing - I wouldn't play him again until GW38.

So through truly terrible user error/failure to double-check, i didn't click through on my bench boost for gw33. Utter disaster. But I now find myself with BB, FH, and AM chips all still left to play. Obviously FH this week, so then I have BB and AM for 35-38, and a dgw 36 looming right in the middle. I'll be coming out of the FH with 1.6 in the bank and 2 free transfers. Options: 1) don't sweat the dgw, go AM 35-37 with a manager guaranteed to play 3 and bench boost 38 with teams on the beach 2) Sacrifice one week of AM, set up a bench boost for 36 and then AM 37-38 3) Use my frees to set up a solid bench boost team in 35 and then AM 36-38

What's your bench like for GW35? BB GW38 is a nightmare waiting to happen given how much rotation there always is that GW. Under similar circumstances I gained just 1 point form GW38 BB three seasons ago, two of my bench would have come on as auto subs anyway, another didn't feature, the the last was a 1 point cameo.

Would you rather go Evanilson or Kiuvert? I am not on a FH. Evanilson has been back for 7 matches. 1st one back was only about 13 minutes so doesn't count. 2nd one was 70 mins and he scored. He has scored 3 more in the next 5. This is pretty good form. On the other hand, Kiuvert has been on pretty good form for most of the season but has been out for the last 4-5 games (still played 90 last match though).

Given that the last time they met the game ended 6-3, is anyone considering a punt on a Spurs attacker?

As a Liverpool fan this probably sounds bad BUT.. I always find that when Lpool are expected to win a game, we tend to either don't, or at least make hard work of it. I know they're pretty bad but I'm starting to wonder if a cheeky punt on a B Johnson may pay off.

I'll probs bottle it like I did the Trossard move this GW just gone and not go for it.

Its such a unpopular pick, but I feel its the kind of pick that will score big and no one will own him because it is so unlikely and unpopular. I know I wont end up going for it and I'll go for say an Mbuemo instead like everyone else out of fear and he'll blank and someone like a Johnson or Richarlison will out score him.

Plan was to use my 2 FTs to get XI out and then wildcard next week. Two of these will be Greaves and Beto though!

So maybe I should wildcard now, bench three non-playing picks and use the FTs to tidy up next week such as Cunha>Marmoush and Palmer>KdB? I'd be no worse off and prob more points this week...?

Trying to put together a WC34 team. Been away this week so could someone briefly summarise how likely DGW36 is for certain teams and what needs to happen? Would be very helpful. Thanks.

    Currently on this:

    Kepa (Pickford)
Livramento, Robinson, Ait Nouri (Gvardiol, Murillo)
    Salah, Mbuemo, Murphy, Bowen (KDB)
    Isak, Cunha, Wood.

Not a bad team to see you through, that.

From what I can see, the only thing that will bring about a DGW36 is Villa getting through in the cup (due to their GW37 opponents Spurs not being able to play MW37), but there may be more permutations.

TAA scares me this week. He might be a buy / hold for the rest of the season.

He will be so attacking for a few reasons:
    - He would like to win the league for Pool with a goal
    - Pool fans hating on him has given him a lot of motivation
    - When Pool win the league, he will probably be even more attacking, just because why not

I really don't want to hit him and bench Kerkez, but it is tempting me. Normally ignoring things like this goes terribly wrong.

I like it. Basically its what I would have.

Harry Wilson is a bit of a risk to Sessegnon annoyingly, based on that, I'd just go Robinson. I'd go Gordon over Murphy too.

I'd probably go with the one who has a fixture.

Saliba, Saka, Mateta, and Glasner ->
TAA, Diaz, Wissa, and Frank -8

Too many eggs in one basket? Risky?

Not sure on Pool assets after this GW but I can't think only long term.

    Pope
    TAA, Robinson, Mykolenko
Salah (C), Diaz, Mbeumo, Murphy, Bruno
    Isak, Wissa
    Frank

    (Marmoush, Gvardiol, Munoz)

Out of chips this week after this last week on AM
