Round six of our latest FFS Members Cup takes place in Gameweek 36, where the final eight Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers are competing for a £300 prize fund.

A tournament for Premium Members, this is independent of those you can see on the official FPL website.

We’ll bring you the latest results in this article, plus the quarter-final draw, with a full breakdown of prizes towards the bottom.

FFS MEMBERS CUP

A complete list of round five results

An inspired Jamie Vardy purchase helped Crispo (ranked 34,401st) defeat Ryan 51-35 at the weekend. Nobody else inside the top 130k remains but the next-best, Rossaldinho, is his quarter-final opponent. The latter has plenty of momentum heading into this crunch clash, with successive Gameweek ranks of around 5k firing him up from 410k.

Having bought goal scorers Yoane Wissa and Jarrod Bowen, he captained the West Ham United attacker and was delighted to see Aaron Wan-Bissaka set up his strike. Added to Eberechi Eze’s 10 points and a double Aston Villa clean sheet, his tally of 77 was the biggest score of round five.

At the other end, schnuggi (3.54 million) is still here, despite benching Eze. They also took a hit for captain Ollie Watkins’ blank but – thanks to Kevin De Bruyne and Assistant Manager Oliver Glasner – there was a 53-45 win over Mendip Muppets.

Only the 52-point FPL Insanity (191,138th) progressed with a lower score, while J Aravind lost 60-58 to Renegade3, another Bowen captainer. Had their own armband gone to De Bruyne, Eze or Alexander Isak rather than Bryan Mbeumo, it would’ve been different.

The full quarter-final draw is available here

HOW DO THE CUP COMPETITIONS WORK?

The FFS Cup is very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s own cup game.

Entrants who qualify for the first round were randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores).

In the event of a draw, the manager highest in the overall FPL rankings after the tie will progress.

WHAT IS THE GAMEWEEK SCHEDULE?

Both these cup competitions will be played out according to the following proposed Gameweek schedule, though this could be subject to change.

Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup Round Dates

  • Qualifying – Gameweek 30
  • Round 1 – Gameweek 31
  • Round 2 – Gameweek 32
  • Round 3 – Gameweek 33
  • Round 4 – Gameweek 34
  • Round 5 – Gameweek 35
  • Quarter-Final – Gameweek 36
  • Semi-Finals – Gameweek 37
  • Final and third place play-off – Gameweek 38

WHEN ARE THE FIXTURES RELEASED?

Where possible, the fixture list for each round will be published before each Gameweek deadline.

PRIZES

Overall Prizes
The prizes for both cups are as follows:

1st Place: £150 Amazon voucher
2nd Place: £100 Amazon voucher

Fair to bench Trippier and Konsa this week to play Munoz or a pure lottery?

They will likely all concede. I’d play Muñoz for better chance of attacking returns.

Lost on previous article, so reposting here:

2FT, £3.8m in the and planning on playing BB this week.

    Raya - Areola

    Kiwior – Konsa – Gvardiol – Burn - Huijsen

    Rogers – Mbeumo – Salah – Savinho – Sarr

    Mateta – Isak - Marmoush

Could do Kiwior to Milenkovic and Savinho to KDB, but feels a bit sideways. Anything else worth doing?

    Thanks

Not sideways. Milenkovic has a great fixture and KDB is one of the best players for this week.

If we play 343, then I see the answer whether to play BB as basically, who is my midfielder playing against.
I just ignore the two defenders and GK, so long as they start, it's fine. I BB last week 2 Everton defenders and they got one point between them.
So if you can wait until 37, Rogers against Spurs may be better than against Bournemouth

Just seen i am 769 in the world in FPL Challenge! For all my regular FPL failings this season, I’ve actually done quite well in this game mode.

    Here’s my squad this week:
    Sels (LEI)
    VVD (ARS)
    Salah (ARS) Díaz (ARS)
    Wood (LEI)

The rule this week is that Liverpool and Arsenal players get double points. Think I’m just gonna bank on Liverpool to beat them, and throw in the NFO boys, fancy a Wood hattrick this week.

I think the game is high scoring. I'd go like Trossard, Salah, Diaz or smth like that.

        Locked to:
        1-2-1
        1-1-2
        2-1-1

So can’t have 3 mids unfortunately. Could wait til deadline and grab Gakpo or Nunez if either starts

    Hey all,

Could really do with some help here! Have for the first time ever made it into the top 5k (highest previous finish is 40k) and keen not to fu*k it up!

Current squad is as follow, and playing BB this week too. Given it's for a BB I don't have a problem taking a hit (have taken loads this season)

    Raya/Areola

    Gvardiol / N Williams / Saliba / Konsa / Livramento

    salah / bowen / eze / Mbuemo / Rogers

    isak / Marmoush / wissa.

    Only 1ft, but expect it will be a weak bench boost. So could do the following;

A - Livra to RAN (safest move)
B - Livra to RAN, and isak to cunha -4
C - salah to KDB, isak to cunha -4
D - livra to ran, saliba to ruben dias. -4

    Any other suggestions appreciated!

Thank you, yeah that might be worth consideration. At first glance I preferered the fixtures this week, but I guess it would give me an extra week to bring in someone else without taking a minus 4.

If you had 4 FT & 3,9 million in bank this week, how many would you use to create a viable bench boost for this team?

    Areola (Raya)
    Trippier-Kerkez-Gvardiol (Saliba, Konsa)
    Salah-Rogers-Mbeumo-Murphy (Sarr)
    Mateta-Isak-Marmoush

    Please select 1:

    A: 1
    B: 2
    C: 3
    D: 4
E: 0, go with what you have and prepare for GW38 instead

Does Bradley start the Arsenal match?

May well start him over Trippier (CHE) & Kiwior (LIV).

Would be nice to have some Forest defence the next two weeks but not sure if a hit worthwhile, when the hit would be for Bradley or Trippie, who I'd play GW38. (Gvardiol/Kiwior/Munoz to be retained for this or a later GW).

No one is essential and you can go without, but I think in your spot, assuming you've little ITB, I'd be tempted to risk Salah out to Mbuemo, then next week you could afford Sarr/Eze up to Palmer
Id just leave Robertson where he is
on the bench/beach. He's probably not worth a defender transfer at this stage.
Or just do Sarr to Schade and hope he can match Mbuemo.

That's fair enough. I think he can squeeze out an extra assist or G on top of that 9 in this his last ever home game.
All his team mates know their sole mission is to get him goals to reach 200. Match outcome Vs Ipswich is irrelevant.
Also, kind of slim pickings for C in 37.

Gw38 could have rotation so just use the transfers to get a bb you're happy with whether that is 3 or 4

E but don't ignore good picks in 36 and 37.
With two Palace, you could BB this week (36) to use Sarr Vs Spurs then him and Mateta will likely be rested in 37 around their final
Don't worry about your two bench defenders and GK. As long as they start that's the main thing. I mean RAN and Kayode and Milenkovic could return, for example, but so too could Arsenal and Villa get a cleanie
I'd try not to worry about the ideal BB, I'm starting to think there is no such thing.

TC this week - KDB Muemo Wood or Wissa
FH last day - see who needs goals, often get team leaks - take huge punts depending on how much ground you have to make up.

85 points clear in my mini-leagues and also a cup game this week.

      Team is:

      Gvardiol, Dias, Munoz (Konsa, Saliba)
      Sarr, Rogers, Salah, Mbeumo (Murphy)
      Marmoush, Mateta, Isak

      1 FT.

I could do Sarr to KDB and Marmoush to Cunha for a 4 pt hit.

      Thoughts?

      Thanks in advance.
