My initial thinking is just let FH and TC happen. You don't need to plan for those when we don't have DGWs.

Possibly start with an aggressive BB GW1 then WC after it.
Or pick a team to solely target first 3-4 games, then WC into a slightly more conservative BB which doesn't ruin your squad.

Early BB seems to be the player, whether it be GW1 2 or 3.
Arsenal and City fixtures get better at around 6 so I'm looking at that.
Defcon I think makes playing cheap CBs against hard oppo not so bad. In a way, for defenders it might just take away thise idea of "rotating", as the hard games still provide an avenue for points.

Also, it's not out of the question that Hato gets the odd start at LB.
Another reason I'd reconsider Cucurella is the uncertainty over his role. When James plays as a RB, then he holds his position as part of a back three and Cucurella has the license to bomb forward. When it's Gusto as the RB, then the roles are reversed. Add to this the fact that Maresca seems to consider James a midfielder more than a RB and Cucurella's attacking threat doesn't look as promising.

Minteh is an odd one- scores alot and is exciting to watch but never seems assured of minutes

Tried punting on him a couple of times the season past, usually on the back of a goal or two, but he's always be rotated out or play the last half hour. Terribly frustrating. So I'd be sure he actually plays regularly now.
