With Gameweek 6 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) nearing, it’s time to nail down our Scout Picks for the upcoming round of fixtures.

Our in-house team have put their heads together to produce the following selection.

As ever, certain restrictions limit us:

  • An £83.0m budget for our starting XI
  • An overall squad limit of £100.0m
  • No more than three players per team

GOALKEEPER

Djordje Petrovic (£4.5m) is our chosen goalkeeper after three of our Scout Squad pundits included him in their submissions. The 25-year-old is playing in front of a defence that has proved to be both resolute and organised so far, and could be in line for a fourth clean sheet of the season. Leeds United, meanwhile, are yet to score a goal from open play at Elland Road. They also rank 20th for non-penalty expected goals (NPxG).

        I think so partly because it's the 8pm Saturday game and I'm a sucker for matches under the lights.

        But Spurs burn me so often and BHW are porous as well as having an attacking edge...

        It's definitely a differential play which makes me more inclined to do so.

        I know

        I'm close to both scenarios, like 45-55 and I've not had Pedro yet this season, so been missing out on points.

        I'm about 1.7m OR but lacked Pedro, Senesi etcso far. I went early on Senesi last season but thought their defence would take a while to gel again.

        Every time I pick Pedro he flops for me too.

          Seems like there is some PTSD for you regarding JPedro! To be honest if you don't mind spending a FT to switch Richarlison to JPedro a few GWs down the road, I think it's fine too.

            The thing with fantasy pundits it's all about xMinutes and penalties.

            But when they buy a player like Watkins or Rogers or whoever they'll stick through blanks because of fixtures.

            It's hyper cautious till they can wildcard themselves out.

            Still some did a Salah set up and early wildcard into a team still ignoring Haaland, untill this week.
