With the Gameweek completed by a classic Anfield tussle, it’s time for our members to scan some of the key statistics from the weekend matches to help identify the form and trends that could help shape future Fantasy selections…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Although if you have the extra 0.5m, get S. Taylor I think. Three possible cleansheets out of the next four.

5 goal attempts made by Gareth Bale in the 1-1 draw with West Brom. His owners will be getting twitchy as a result of two tepid results and performances from Andre Villas-Boas’ men but Bale’s numbers do at least suggest that he’s far from in decline. No other midfielder in Saturday’s matches attempted more shots and will 11 penalty box touches, he also saw more of the ball in the box than any other midfielder.

Good assessment. He also got in a load of crosses and with Ade to get on the end of them instead of Defoe, should get some assists.

    RVP, is he worth it.

I've been keeping an eye out for ppl posting their rmt which included rvp and I've come to the conclusion.

    RVP is a risk.

He risks rotation all season unless rooney is off to real Madrid.

Having 13 mil upfront for one player is a huge drain on the rest of your team unless.

Torres is pretty much nailed on at Chelsea and 3.0 is the difference between Walters and kag.

Don't get me wrong RVP has the potential to do great things but I've watched the two games he's featured in and I'm not too impressed.

    Thoughts?

I'm surprised at everyone saying he is essential. He really isn't, there are plenty of alternatives which offer far greater value. RVP just wont score enough goals to justify his price and when we start to go into European games and Cup games he WILL be rotated with Welbeck and Hernandez, Rooney also when he returns. Do you really want to risk having a 13m striker on the bench?

I agree 100%. Ok RVP is brilliant. Quality player. BUT Id rather have a few quality players had than one and a few poor ones to be able to afford that one. Having him wrecks the rest of your team. This week Graham scored one point less than him and is 7m cheaper.

RVP's price is prohibitive and Torres looks like he can get you similar points for £3m less.

If you had Hazard and Rooney from the off then I'd say get RVP but if, like me, you have Torres already then maybe better off keeping him and getting Kagawa instead.

      Agreed in the long term.
But if people have lots of money in the bank they might as well do the transfer for the next 4 weeks fixtures.
But if you not have the money and have to take hits I do not think it is worth it. There are cheaper better value options.
Although, the advantage for RVP owners is they would be more inclined to captain RVP and double any big scores.

He's on 86.5% atm, it will be tight, but I think he will be ok, the rate out is not that high. Silva is at the same level, but has a much higher rate of transfers out, he could easily fall as well.

    Considering WC...

    Jaask - Fed

    Vermailen - kompany - ivanovic - Harte - Fabio

    Cazorla - Y Toure - Kagawa - Allen - Puncheon

    Tevez - P Cisse - Petric

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

      1) Your backline is too expensive
      2) You midfield and forwards are lacking. Cazorla has shown promise but has yet to really catch fire. Allen is the same way, great and composed for LFC today but has yet to spark.

I recommend NOT wildcarding this week as you'll want Chelsea cover because of form after their blank this week...plan on fixing it after GW3

        Demel - Rengel - Vermailen - Baines - Ivanovic

        Bale - Yaya - Michu - kaca - Kagawa

        Tevez - Ba - Petric

And will transfer bale for hazard in gw 4?

Is this a mad time to do this? I just see so many price rises coming...
