The term ‘Moneyball’ should not become a synonym for “obscure” as value can sometimes still be found in even the brightest of spotlights. Therefore, having highlighted some fringe Fantasy prospects in the first few entries in this series, we will turn our attention this week to somewhere well overdue some strong returns and Fantasy attention: Anfield.
cheers lads, might just get Nelsen or Ridge instead.
Open Controlsdont bother with Nelsen, I hastily got him in last week. Regret it now cos MBia and Ferdinand compete with him
Open Controls
Maybe but unlikely. You can ignore Kaboul for now as you have a wildcard by the time he's back.
I personally think AVB will see that Vertonghen LB and Gallas/Caulker CB is better than Naughton LB and Gallas/Vert CB.
However I can't see Benny being displaced easily.
Worth a punt for now though.Open Controls
Really no idea what transfer to make this week. The team is good and normally I would just save it, but I'm wildcarding next week so I don't want to waste a transfer. I'm looking for a one week punt. Any ideas? 🙂
Foster – (Federici),
Baines – Clyne – McAuley – (Demel – Cuellar),
Hazard – Yaya – Pienaar – Michu -- (Guthrie),
RVP – Tevez – Berba. (£0.1m bank)Open ControlsSurely you should drop Berba for Lambert this week then. Only option I see.
Open ControlsMaybe sterling in for guthrie to replace the injured Berb. 1 week punt could be Defoe for berb if you can afford it.
Open Controls
Who to drop out of Sterling, Fletcher or Pienarr?
Open Controlssterling for sure

Thanks for the scoutcast mark and Granville, my Fridays at work just aren't the same without it!

Can someone please recomend players for my Wildcard team im happy with my midfielders but need some cheap value defenders anyone know any ??? ad a mid priced striker below 7 million would be good
Open ControlsDavies (swa), Clyne (sou), Gorkss (rea) are all about 4.0.
Clark (avl), hughes (ful) are around 4.5.
Mid-priced striker - Berbatov (out this week), Fletcher, Lambert all around 7.0Open Controls
hey guys..is having no RVP /AGUERO/TEVEZ cover a risk?
my front 8 is
cazorla,bale,ramirez,mata,dyer
jelavic,torres(C),lambert
really need your helpOpen ControlsLots of questions about Cazorla and Gervinho this week. IMO Gervinho well worth a punt. I've now seen him live in 2 games and once in champions league game over the past 3 weeks and his pace and positioning has improved immensely. From a fantasy perspective he's a brilliant option for the next 3 GWs. Cazorla is a terrific player, amazing balance with two good feet and reminds me of my favourite player Iniesta. In terms of fantasy however he is not finding the positions to make the final pass or shot on goal - he will create goals regularly but not necessarily score the fantasy points.
Open ControlsCaz has been very unfortunate not to get points the past few weeks...Gervinho is great, I just don't trust him. One more week of him playing like a madman and I'll definitely start to consider him.
Open ControlsI understand your concern but have some faith!
Open Controls
what should I mark Gervinho down for pace. I've got a 17 currently. Higher?
Open ControlsDon't understand your question?
Open ControlsI should've explained.
It's for my own personal spreadsheet. I've upped his positioning to CF already.
but you say his pace has increase also? I have 17 (and dribbling 15). Should I change these values?Open ControlsWith this spreadsheet, I will win FPL next year.
So he'll play CF instead of Walcott?Open ControlsYes for now but Wenger has said Walcott will get his opportunity as CF - not just yet though
Open Controls
Ah! Okay - I cannot comment on your personal scoring but I would put Gervinho at a similar level to Lennon - maybe not at the pace and acceleration that Walcott has. But pace is not everything. Timing of runs is very important and Gervinho has been doing that very well recently
Open Controls
uh....?
Open Controls
Cheers, I'll blame you if Yaya out, Gervinho in doesn't work, ok?
Open Controls
How's my situation?
Vorm (Guzan)
Baines - Verm - Ivanovic - McAuley (Nelsen)
Yaya - Michu - Hazard (C) - Fellaini (Cazorla)
RVP - Tevez (Berba)
Should I do Tevez ---> Suarez?Open ControlsDrop one of the defence and play Caz, no need for any transfer
Open Controls
So my transfer this week- McClean to Nolan :). Will be a long GW for me
Open ControlsMcClean is dropping tonight, sensible
Open Controls
Foster
Ivanovic Hughes Baines
Hazard (vc) Fellanini Yaya Peinaar
Fletcher RVP (C) Tevez
Jussi Guthrie Demel Clyne
What you think? 🙂Open ControlsBTW, anyone see the Spurs game last night? How did Captain America look?
Open ControlsRepost sorry but need help
Vorm – (Federici)
Baines – Walker – Hughes – (McCartney) – (Stam)
Dyer – Hazard – Pienaar – Morrison – (Noble)
RVP – Aguero – Fletcher
0.1 in bank, 1 FT
Thinking Fletcher > Lambert?

Epic Fail? Any other Villa fans?
Open ControlsCan't remember his name but has a player in an England strip for a Grav. He is a Villan.
Open ControlsI, along with Epic Fail ad Little Wiz are the only Villans that I know on here. In answer to your question I would probably go ith Clark , based primarily on value and greater goal threat. In all honesty though I wouldn't be going near any Villa players right now....we've hardly set the world alight and we have a tricky run of fixtures coming up
Open Controls
I'm probably the only person on here who still has him, but do we think Kagawa will start this weekend? Didn't feature at all in the CL, so he'll be fresh, but Rooney could be in his favourite spot. Maybe he'll be out on the left?
Open ControlsI think he will, due to the midweek rest. He may or may not get an assist but long term he is one to consider ditching. Rooney and RVP look destined to hoover up the pts long term.
Open ControlsYup, my team's not in great shape but I'm saving the transfer this week to lose Kagawa for Bale next week (need to downgrade elsewhere to do it).
Open Controls
with Valencia and Young injured I can see Kags going wide left to worry a not fully-fit Simpson while Nani terrorizes Santon. This leaves Rooney and RvP to rinse Perch and Williamson
Open ControlsAye, should be a few goals for RVP and whoever plays behind him (probably Rooney, but I can hope...)

Any fans of electronic music out there. Got to give the new Deadmaus album a listen. Really getting me into the spirit of Friday!!!
Open ControlsLovely! Will have to check it out! Sadly missed out on his set two months back at Creamfields when the 2nd day of the event was cancelled 🙁
Open ControlsWhy was it cancelled dude?
Open Controls

Open Controls

3. Morrison (QPR)
4. Michu (RDG)
5. Pienaar (wig)
Please advise 🙂Open ControlsA who are y'all transferring in for Hazard after this weekend?

B Ba Suarez aguero
C jelly Torres Suarez
Help me out here guys.Open ControlsOr d Ba Torres Suarez

Was planning on bringing in Gervinho this week but contemplating on taking a 1 week punt on Mata and giving him the (C) and then shift him out for Gervinho the following week. West Ham have only allowed 1 goal at home so far this season so thinking Mata has a greater chance of going crazy. Sound thinking right? 😉
Open ControlsOnly if your comfortable rubber stamping your transfer for next GW knowing it's an International break

Hi everyone, i'm new to this site - having recently registered.
My team at the moment is:
Jussi
Baines Cashley Jenks
Dyer Pienaar Yaya Barfa
Tevez RVP Graham
I'm tempted to take a hit this week to either bring in Suarez or Bale. Likely moves would be either:
A. Dyer & Yaya OUT for Stirling & Bale IN
B. Graham & Yaya OUT for Stirling & Suarez IN.
C. Make no changes.
Having 2 Swansea offensive players is a gamble with their recent form. If they fire blanks again my team could be in for another terrible week. Theres also rumours of Dyer possibly being benched.
Could anyone please offer any feedback? Ideally i'd like both Suarez and Bale but dont fancy taking out RVP.Open Controls

Lads do we think Caulker could nail down a place for Spurs even when BAE, Naughton or Kaboul come back. Am looking at alternatives to Sagna/Huth as I will now only be able to afford 1 or the other
