Yesterday’s team news ruffled feathers and provided plenty of consternation for Fantasy managers. Having slept on it, there’s still much to ponder prior to today’s deadline with our Saturday Surgery chatroom now open to capture the thoughts, opinions and gripes of the suffering in real-time.

Saturday serves us seven matches, starting with a sumptuous brunch at Old Trafford with Robin Van Persie carrying the hopes of thousands of Fantasy managers against his former club. That’s followed by five three o’clock kick-offs, with Man City taking on West Ham in this evening’s game.

There’s just over an hour to go, with the Pre-match Preamble on the way very soon.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      have you got another defender that will play? if so, always seems daft taking a hit for a defender when realistically they will score 6 max unless you get lucky

      No, Cuellar will probably start, so you will most likely have three starting defenders. Jenkinson has to go at one point, but not for Caulker, see what happens when BAE gets back, and whether or not Caulker keeps his place.

      I think he will. I think if there is any way he can play he will, he is just so important to Newcastle's attack right now. I just hope he doesn't end up coming off having worsened the injury due to being rushed back!

    thinking mata to gerrard for a hit as a i dont have any subbs that will play. So if gerrard only gets 2 points lets say i only loose 2 points really. Good logic ?

    Only thing remaining, who to bench: Michu(CHE), Pienaar(ful) or HBA(liv)? Pienaar is sitting at the moment, but this might change. Fancy Michu to put against Chelsea, and Liverpool have been rubbish at home, but HBA hasn't exactly been firing on all cylinders? 😕

    So is it worth taking a -4pt hit to do Wilson ---> Cameron?

    Rest of defence is Ivan, Vertigo, Demel, Lowton. Also have Mata, who will be benched.

    So -4 would be to avoid playing Lowton at Sunderland, and cover for anyone else not starting.
