Rafaโ€™s weakened lineup get turned over by Harryโ€™s boys as Shaun Wright-Phillips returns to haunt the Stamford Bridge regulars. Thereโ€™s no such shock at Anfield as Luis Suarez fills his boots again, whilst Leighton Bainesโ€™ wonder strike inspires an Everton win at St Jamesโ€™ Parkโ€ฆ

On the Up

Luis Suarez
Seemingly everpresent in this article in over recent Gameweeks, Suarez once again delivered the goods for Liverpool, chipping in with his fourth and fifth goals in the last four league matches, whilst providing the assist for Raheem Sterlingโ€™s opener. Scoring back-to-back braces for the first time in his Liverpool career, his stock remain buoyant, his ownership and price on the climb. While Suarez has United and Arsenal in the next three, his form is so strong, thatโ€™s unlikely to be a factor that will perturb investors.

Steven Gerrard
The skipper goes on delivering: his pair of assists tonight means that Gerrard has now returned in his last six outings. Slowly but surely, Fantasy managers are waking up to his consistency โ€“ Gerrardโ€™s ownership is steadily on the rise and his price has climbed to 9.4. Suarez, for just 0.9 more, remains the stronger option by some margin, however.

Raheem Sterling
The 18-year-old operates in a different price bracket to the Liverpool heavy-hitters and, with his opening goal tonight, he delivered his first strike since Gameweek 8. Before this eveningโ€™s game, Sterling had just a single assist in his last nine league appearances โ€“ form that was beginning to call his value, even at 5.6, into question. Theyโ€™ll be no such doubts for a while, despite the arrival of Daniel Sturridge.

The Liverpool Defence
A third clean sheet in four games brought Brendan Rodgersโ€™ defence to the fore and with Andre Wisdom back in the side, Fantasy managers will certainly be taking note. The young full-back would surely only be a short-term option with Jose Enrique sidelined and with United and Arsenal to come, the โ€œwisdomโ€ of such a move seems limited.

Leighton Baines
A stunning thirty-yard free-kick brought Bainesโ€™ owners their first major returns since Gameweek 5. Before tonight, the Everton left-back had delivered just two assists in 13 league outings. While the clean sheet was again off the menu, Bainesโ€™ strike offered a timely reminder of his qualities ahead of a Gameweek 22 home meeting with Swansea.

Marouane Felliani
There was talk before the game that the Belgian could be dropped back to a deeper role with Darron Gibson sidelined but, with David Moyes drafting in Phil Neville and dropping Victor Anichebe, itโ€™s clear that Fellaini is set for the long-haul in an advanced role. He hardly dazzled but his physical presence played its part, earning the free-kick which was converted by Baines to give Felliani immediate assist returns.

Papiss Cisse
While Demba Ba negotiates his way out of St Jamesโ€™ Park, Cisse is trying to reinstate himself as Newcastleโ€™s hitman. His opening strike tonight was his second in three matches and, with Alan Pardew suggesting prior to the match that Cisse will eventually lead the attack back in a central role, he is gradually coming in from the cold as a Fantasy option.

The QPR Defence
Nobody would have backed the Rโ€™s defence for a shutout at Stamford Bridge having witnessed Luis Suarez tear them apart last time out. Rafaโ€™s teamsheet may have played its part in helping Harry Redknapp motivate his side and that factor shouldnโ€™t be underestimated. While Harry will surely bring in plenty of new blood, the likes of Ryan Nelsen may remain a mainstay and could provide strong value if Redknapp can go on inspiring similar performances.

Going Down

Rafa Benitez
It would be harsh to dent the stock of the players involved when itโ€™s Rafaโ€™s rotation policy that is to blame. Tonightโ€™s decision to rest all three of the players who supported Fernando Torres at Goodison came as a shock โ€“ itโ€™s the first time Chelsea have started a league game this season without both Eden Hazard or Juan Mata. With Ashley Cole also preserved, itโ€™s become clear that nobody is safe from an occasional rest. Perhaps we shouldnโ€™t be surprised, but that fails to sweeten the pill and introduces an unwelcome variable when considering Chelsea assets. You have to wonder, however, having suffered a shock defeat, whether Rafa will think again when it comes to underestimating opponents with his team selection.

Fernando Torres
The Spaniard survived Rafaโ€™s rotation cull to lead the attack but drew a blank for the third successive league outing. With Demba Ba in talks and Benitez hinting that a rest for Torres is in his plans, those still clinging to El Nino will surely be fidgeting and considering their options.

Demba Ba
His absence from Newcatleโ€™s lineup came as an immediate blow to his Fantasy owners โ€“ his pending move to Chelsea may dent his stock further. Having witnessed Rafaโ€™s rotation policy at work tonight, few will relish the prospects of Ba being part of that, regardless of the prospect of improved service.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    ATTENTION DEMBA BA OWNERS! MUST-READ!

    Ba exit options:

    1) Carlos Tevez (9.0) - bargain if he gets playing time; hinges on the extent of Aguero's injury; Mancini rotation is worrying; however I believe that he will be vital to City's title challenge during the 2nd half of the season

    2) Papiss Cisse (8.8) - main man up front with Ba's exit; would be the most appealing option if Newcastle were firing and Barfa/Cabaye/Jonas were all healthy

    3) Lukas Podolski (8.2) - nailed-on at LW for Arsenal but often gets subbed off early; DGW coming

    4) Nikica Jelavic (8.1) - disappointing season but has looked threatening during the last few games; best upcoming fixtures out of everyone on the list

    5) Olivier Giroud (7.8) - starts not guaranteed unless Theo moves back to the wing; DGW option as well; handsome motherfecker

    6) Edin Dzeko (7.3) - also hinges on the extent of Aguero's injury; rounding into form but prone to Mancini rotation as well; Balotelli's return imminent

    7) Dimitar Berbatov (7.1) - Ruiz is back; on pens and a few direct FKs; sexy motherfecker

    8) Steven Fletcher (7.0) - his role as Sunderland's only option up top is appealing; however
    Sunderland suffering from inconsistency

    9) Javier Hernandez (7.3) - good short-term option but only while Rooney is out; Welbeck and Kagawa are threats to his PT

    8) Christian Benteke (6.7) - massive potential but highly unreliable; upside is that he's on pens

    10) Shane Long/Peter Odemwingie/Romelu Lukaku - Steve Clarke rotation is a headache

    MAKE YOUR PICK.

Transfers are remarkably slow tonight. My only bit of temptation to wc this GW has been snuffed out. Transfer activity only goes downhill from here til the night before.

You may well find the high scores this week have stopped the psychological need to wc.

fecking exams eh? that sucks. had mine the week before christmas so thankfully i'm done for the time being. good luck though. and enjoy your brother's wedding! :D. oh trust me, i know. had 3 college apps due yesterday by midnight, another one due today :o, one due the 7th and then one due the 15th plus a bunch of other stuff.

nice! :D. winning your h2h's always makes things better :D. i'm 1-1 which isn't bad is a bit frustrating as i had the second highest score in la liga last week yet lost :(.

    Gibbs - Cameron - Davies - Shorey - Demel
    Mata - Michu - Fellaini - Sterling - Puncheon
    RVP - Suarez - Defoe

    1FT 4.8m

Im tempted to do what I had planned which is sterling -> bale but I could also get bale in aftet the dgw with my wc and instead do sterling -> puncheon leaving just enough for shorey -> o'brien which will set me up nicely for the dgw....Btw as you can see i already have defoe for the qpr game

          James Lovelock.

To be honest though TW, if you can't google something and come up with a name that you can justify in 30 seconds of interview......

There is no "right" answer, you just have to be able to say why you think that person is important. Its not likeif you say "Gorbachov because he effectively caused the break up of the USSR etc etc" they will say "Ah no sorry the answer was Nelson Mandela, are you racist or something?"

Lech Walesa is another good one.

A good reply would be to point out what a ridiculous question it is and how it is impossible to answer because there are so many candidates that might qualify for very different reasons and how do you weigh a huge scientific advance against a huge political change etc etc?

Berbatov (h) to Wigan is a great option.

RVP (h) to Liverpool is ideal imo. Goals!

Yeah well I had Punch on the bench, but Cazorla was the only midfielt blank for me, so no whining.

Tricky. Theory is he was benched against Stoke because he's dodgy in the air (See Norwich last week), so could be back. otoh he's still not as nailed on as he was. Keeping till wc only because I have other priorities (and already replaced Enrique & Shorey)

How accurate is FISO for price changes?

I mean, if someone is on 99% or 98% is there still a chance they might rise?

I am not sure but I don't remember monitoring a player for rises or falls and FISO not predicting correctly.
