With Gareth Bale and Michu tearing up defences and delivering big returns from Saturday’s matches, there’s much anticipation ahead of Sunday’s programme. While Aston Villa’s clash with West Ham seems likely to be an edgy battle of attrition, the Old Trafford clash between United and Everton looks to have a lot going for it. Sir Alex Ferguson’s teamsheet will be of keen interest in that one, while the Toffees will be looking to repeat last season’s thrilling 4-4 draw and perhaps keep the title race interesting.

The early team news is in and sees Paul Lambert make three changes to the Villa XI, with Nathan Baker, Fabian Delph and Jordan Bowery replacing Joe Bennett, Karim El Ahmadi and Gabby Agbonlahor.

For the Hammers, Joe Cole and Emanuel Pogatetz come in for Matt Jarvis and Ricardo Vaz Te; Guy Demel is on the bench.

        You don't expect players to score every game but over a few games they usually come through. I understand why some sold RVP for the DGW and they knew the risks. Can't mock those for taking a gamble even if it was slightly crazy

          For that price tag, the minimum you need is a goal every game. Rooney has still outscored him over the last three. RVP will still get points, just not as high as he has. When Rooney scored and RVP blanked no one was questionning people without Rooney 🙂

        Yeah the season is going well because the players are too easy to pick. Once your team has Bale, Michu, Walcott, Mata, RVP then you're gonna be in the top 100k most likely. I would much prefer the points to be less predictable, rewarding those who take a risk now and then. Hasn't been a great year for good differentials (Sigurdsson, Ba, Ben Arfa, Miyachi, Wheather last year, etc)

        I do this too, when I am playing Halo I blame my shoddiness on things such as lag or the other player cheesin it, but it's actually just because I suck.

          Yea sure I suck... check my rank I'm having a great season because it's so easy to do well once you have the obvious template players. Whats the point in playing a game supposed to be risky when the players getting the points are so obvious. Bored with RVP in the team, I just think it's hard to take when an equally good player doesn't deliver (like Aguero)... apart from this it's so boring for me, a neutral supporter, when the league is won with over 2 months to go...

    I would imagine alot of people sold rvp for suarez, rvp dropping in price was a big suprise but he is making them pay today

      You were interested in PPI. This is rough. BAP chap corrected saying there is more weightage from shots on and off target. Crosses have some weightage. Blocked shots do not count as shots off target.
      Also, stats are taken from the BBC live text feed if i'm not mistaken.
